He removed the front tires to show that the pads were not at the 3mm mark, as was indicated by the Jiffy Lube personnel. The amount of brake pads left on my car was indistinguishable from the new brake pads I bought. My rotors were also not in need of replacement. I phoned the store manager and shared my findings with him. He asked if I could wait while he talked to the person who originally inspected my brakes. He apologized and said that it was "an honest mistake". I suggested that maybe they put someone else's information into my file, but he did not think that was the case. I don't see how this is an "honest mistake". Until this incident, I was a contented Jiffy Lube customer.
