Not sure if I should give this place a 5 star review or a 1. If you need a good laugh, i'll give it a 5. If you're looking to do wine tasting this place IS NOT IT. It might be a meth lab, it might be a shack on a lawn, but it is definitely not a winery. This was the first stop on a 3 stop wine tour and let me tell you, it was AWFUL. We had requested to sit outside, the gremlin that worked there just straight up said "no." despite having prepaid and requesting it. We sat inside surrounded by what I imagine the janitors closet at the local high school looks like. We were served 6 plastic cups (cups being a generous word) they were smaller than the spit cup at the dentist and two cups labeled "P" and "S" - I couldnt tell you what those stand for because the staff themselves didnt know. But I imagine it was "Piss & S**t." All of the wines were hot and tasted like a mixture of warm pee and cough medicine. You ever leave a bowl of fruit in a cooler for 6 weeks accidentally and it starts to ferment and spoil, I would rather stick that in my blender and drink it. I would not allow my worst enemy to drink this stuff. When our group asked to learn more about the wine, the woman promptly told us she didnt know anything about it, but she could provide us with a book. My biggest regret is not taking her up on that. I would've loved to see the ingredients that I ingested. *40 year old man pee, with hints of codeine and poop from the dogs caged up on our lawn* (yes there was a random cage with dogs on the lawn). When we asked for glasses of water to help drown the horrific taste of this so called wine we were given 4 shot glass sized plastic cups. After downing 5 shots of water, the woman told us we would have the pleasure of trying their home made slushies. She brought us a glass jar with a table spoon inside and told us to clean out one of our already used wine "cups" in order to try it...... This was only the start of this clearly marvelous experience at J&P. The whole place looks like something out of the texas chainsaw massacre. Broken lawn chairs sitting in ditches, overgrown grass and randomly bedazzled shirts that say stupid sayings like "take life one sip at a time." Wrapping this up, this place is horrible and unpleasant, dont go here. read more
