The bar maid indicated there was an up charge for the blue cheese and ranch dressing. I've never heard of such crap. The table tops were sticky because no one bothered to wipe the tables down from the day before. Anyway, I will never set foot in this dump again. What a huge disappointment.

Hubs swears by Marachel Foch and Just that Simple. We both followed up with a glass before leaving. A must visit if you love wine and are in Gettysburg!

The guy behind the counter was very nice and friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the tastings were free, although served in small plastic cups. They had many different kinds of wine for sale by the bottle, but only about 7 wines for tasting, ranging from dry to sweet. I'm not a sweet wine fan so we tried the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cabernet Sauvignon/Chambourcin. Both were very nice dry wines and we ended up buying a bottle of the Cab Sav/Cham blend. My expectations for Pennsylvania wines is not very high, but this winery is definitely worth the stop if you want to support a local winery. Cheers
