This business has rebranded, or been bought out since the last time we visited. They still offer the pizzas and cider. My wife ordered a cider flight which I tasted also as I'm more of a beer guy. Most of the ciders were nice and light. I wasn't a fan of their fireside cider. I tried to order a Troegs Perpetual but was told they didn't have it. I asked what IPA did they have and the server said "Stacy I think...I don't know beer". It's a cider house and I'd never expect the staff to be versed on the beers on tap. I ordered the Stacy's mom IPA. We ordered a chicken quesadilla for an appetizer and it was what you'd expect. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was good and my wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich and she loved the breading. Just be aware when you enter there is a very strong alcohol cider smell. Most breweries and distilleries know how to keep that smell away if they serve food. The menu is small, but quick and done well. The ciders are good.

We were so happy to find this ciders and restaurant when outlet shopping in Gettysburg. I'm looking forward to coming back for a Happy Hour! We really enjoyed our food--wood-fired pizza, a summer salad of heirloom tomatoes, watermelon and feta. And to top it off--we had great cinnamon sugar donuts! This is a place that I would even make a special trip to from Frederick--since it's just 45 minutes away. Definitely recommend this for a fun time!

Gettysburg gem! Every time I'm in Gettysburg I find myself wanting to stop at Mela Kitchen. From the food to the atmosphere, this place is worth the time. I've had a decent amount of food from their menu, and they do make some great seasonal changes. But there are a few consistent options that I really enjoy: the Wagyu sliders are great, their wings have a great savory sauce, and they have a really tasty beet salad. The ordering system is a little unique, instead of a server coming to you, you go up to the counter to order but they will deliver the food to your table. One of my favorite little features at Mela is the self water station where you can choose sparkling, flat or still. There is a wide range of food choices from burgers to flatbreads and I honestly haven't had a bad meal there yet. They have a solid happy hour menu and enough beverages on tap to quench even the deepest thirst! Don't just take it from me, stop by Mela Kitchen and try it out for yourself! Cheers!

Wonderful place which has the best cider I've ever had. Went twice while I was in Gettysburg. Once for drinks and once for lunch. At lunch we had the mushroom pizza which was terrific. You can buy cider to go. I particularly recommend the peach cider- No it's not real sweet. The ciders tend to be on the dry side , which is good. On special was a sidra and a cyzer. Both recommended.

We had a wonderful meal here tonight. I started with the Gearhouse lager. Then we shared the shrimp & chili appetizer, which was very tasty. Tom & I then shared 2 entrees. One was the smash burger, which I've had several times because it's yummy! The other was the shrimp & corn fettuccine, which is new to the menu but was excellent. Service was very good. The wait staff was pleasant & attentive. Mela Kitchen is the best restaurant in Gettysburg!

Hidden behind the main shopping center, this place serves up some delicious eats! We arrived on a late Thursday afternoon just in time for happy hour. Their outdoor patio was dog friendly, making it convenient for us as we were traveling with our pups. We inquired about how to order- inside there was a walk up counter where you place all orders for drinks and foods. Once ready, an employee brings it out to you. Water (seltzer) was self serve and they also provided crafts to fill so you could keep a supply at your table. Ciders were $3 drafts and $5 sampler which was what we decided on. We tried rose, original, sweet helens, pear, peach, and hops. We both really enjoyed the pear and I surprisingly really liked the hopped cider. We also ordered the $8 pizza special which was a sausage and roasted red pepper pizza drizzled with hot honey - phenomenal. Overall, a really cheap, delicious meal. Accommodated our whole family, service was quick and employees attentive, and a fun atmosphere!

A great place for a delicious brunch! We live in Gettysburg and have been wanting to stop in at Mela Kitchen for awhile. We decided to give it a try and we really enjoyed it. The brunch menu has a great variety and the portions are good size. My husband got the Eggs Benedict and he really enjoyed it. I got the breakfast bowl with creamy polenta and the short rib. It was so flavorful and perfect for a fall day. It has a rustic and refined quality to the food. It makes you just want to sit around with family and friends and enjoy a meal together. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stopped in here because it was nearby our hotel. I really didn't know what to expect. The ordering is a process. You are handed a menu, you stand in line and order what you want. They give you a number and you find a table and they bring what you ordered to you. This was a bit frustrating because you have to order everything you think you will want right there because if not and you decide you want another cocktail or dessert you have to get back in line and give them your number. This is why you open a tab when you first order. It was so busy and the line was long. I don't know if ordering this way is sustainable. We had the pizza , it was just ok. We also had the bread board which I had high hopes for but it was lacking . Basically, 3 types of toasted bread heavily buttered or oiled, I couldn't tell. I felt like they should add different types of butters or a cheese for the price. We had jacks hard cider as our drinks. The peach is delicious. We also so had the apple cider donut dessert. That was delicious. I would like to give them more stars but I can't. I can only recommend this place if you are going for drinks and maybe dessert.

I love this restaurant! If I lived in the area I would be a regular for sure! Everything was delicious and the service was great! The pasta is fresh and was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had at a restaurant. I got the flagship cider and a flight, I wish I could have tasted the wine but I was too full! This is a must try when you're in Gettysburg!

Another amazing experience! If I did "Best Thing I Ever Ate" show on Food Network, the Porchetta sandwich would be my item! Hands down the best flavored sandwich I've ever eaten (twice now!). Pork belly, broccolini, sharp provolone and pickled onions on a toasted sesame roll. Apps: build your own charcuterie. 3 meats/3 cheeses. Chow chow, apple mustardo, blood orange jam, stone ground horseradish mustard and house made lavash bread. Best Brussel sprouts ever. Chow chow Assorted olives A Betty craft cocktail Atomic dog wine Cider flight & full rose cider Yeungling chocolate porter Bacon apple pizza Small porchetta sandwich 2x short ribs Bronzino Apple cider donuts $192 for 4 people. An amazing dining experience! The Mara Forni pizza oven puts out great pizzas. I. Will be. Back!

I was greeted as I was approaching the counter. I asked a few questions about the menu and was answered on all my inquiries. I ordered 2 meals, and paid. Most Mexican Restaurants I have been to(more than my share) cook the what would be atleast the main item of the meal(in my case both were shrimp) fresh. *Side Note, this may be the reason I've seen other reviews complaining of waiting.* I personally am happy to wait for the quality and flavor of my order/food. During this waiting time, although busy as they were the gentleman that took my order made firmly, kind small talk, ending with my order being ready and wish me a Happy Holiday/ Merry Christmas. My family got home(we only live in town) and sat and totally enjoyed our food. Everything was delicious. I haven't an unkind word or any complaints what- so- ever. I would recommend Fiesta Mexican Grill to all. It was a totally enjoyable expirence start to finish. Cheers.

Pros: What a nice surprise. The food is made to order so took awhile but the result was lots of well flavored carnitas topping a tostada that was flourished with an avocado slice. Sour cream, cucumber and lime slices were presented on the side. I asked for hot salsa and was accommodated. Cons: horchata tasted powdery. Hard pass. I asked for a water cup and was told 'no.' The cashier pointed at the bottled water that I could purchase in the case. The Tortilla in the tostada could have been fried more to make it easier to bite into and get a clean bite- I was tearing it apart so a few more moments in the frier would have made it crispier. During my wait I saw food coming out that looked very good. Color me surprised! 3.5 stars.

My wife and I both had the shrimp baskets and two soft drinks for lunch. The shrimp baskets were $17 each and the soft drinks $3 each. With tax and tips the total bill came to $50. The shrimp were obviously pre-battered and frozen but they were pretty tasty. The french fries had some kind of a nice crispy coating and were excellent. The coleslaw was pretty tired. The service was cordial and quick. The decor is as I remembered very nice. There is free parking behind this restaurant, but not many people know it is there. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I think that the cost of the luncheon was a little more than it should've been for what we received. Had the shrimp been coated with a batter and fried from scratch (instead of being taken out of a frozen bag) I might've been able to award five stars. But... All in all this restaurant continues to hold its "very good to excellent" reputation for food and service over many years. I would die there again and I would recommend it with no reservations.

I got the hang of the kiosks and signed up for their reward program. The weather being conducive, I decided to sit outdoors in the enclosed area with a ceiling fan. The tables had food fragments from customers earlier in the day and the ant population got the memo that there was dinner on the ground as well as on the tables. Im not a fan of holding my food in my hands and was excited to see the 2 outdoor hand sanitizers, only to be set up for disappointment when neither of them worked. Fortunately, I brought my own and also loaded up with napkins. The Burrito Supreme was tasty and predictable, but I required 3 Taco Supremes to assuage my hunger. When ordering a drink, they wipe hand you an empty cup fir self service. I had ordered a large Diet Pepsi and helped myself to a refill, although don't know if that is permissible. I just needed liquids to flush down the Diablo hot sauce which id added to my Taco which already had jalapeño peppers on it. Im confident that I'll bevreminded about my decision to add so much hot sauce tomorrow morning. Anyway, the staff were all nice at my visit. There was a poster about the benefits of employment there including tuition assistance, free meals, retirement savings, referral bonuses, etc, so it seems that corporate takes care of its employees which is nice. The meal today filled the yen I had for tacos today, so there's that. The price was commensurate with a meal in a sit down restaurant. I noted a number of out of state license plates in their parking lot, so other people, likely tourists, probably wanted to drop in for some predictable vittles. Oh, the Taco Bell is located right on US Route 30 with easy on andvwasy off access. No unpleassnt surprises here today, but nothing exceptional or even extraordinary either.
