This was my experience with J&E Autobody. To start it took 7 weeks to fix my wife's car. After 7 weeks we finally got the call that the car was "ready". By the time we got there it was already dark so I couldn't really see what had been repaired on the car. The next morning I started looking around the car and I noticed that the bumper they had replaced had multiple scratches in the front. The splash guard that was damaged during the accident was still the same and it had not been replaced. The underbody shield that was also damaged in the accident was also not replaced. All of these parts were on the preliminary supplement and were paid by my insurance company $118.41 for the underbody shield and $34.51 for the splash guard. All of these parts should of been replaced but J&E Autobody did not replace them. Also, the calibration on the car and the alignment was completely off. I was driving on the Parkway and the car kept moving from side to side on it's own while I was trying to keep the car straight. Very scary. They did not detail the car inside or out and the interior of the car was all dirty, even though they charge the insurance company a cleaning fee. I leave it up to you to come up with your own conclusion, but I will not be using this body shop going forward. I had a very bad experience with them. read more

No one ever plans to have a car accident, or damage their precious ride, but if you do, J&E is an excellent place to bring your car. Their staff is friendly, and has been for decades, at this family-run establishment. The staff of J&E take their time with each customer, whether you drove in here in a 2018 Ferrari or a 1973 Pinto. I could take pictures of their high quality craftsmanship, but people would think its a picture of the car from the showroom floor. When I was there the other day for damage to the hood of my car from a dump truck, Bill E. (one of the estimators) was helping an elderly woman take her walker and cane out of the trunk of her rental car that she just returned. He never rushed her, engaged in great conversation and gave her his complete attention as he escorted her back into the building, as another staff member prepped her repaired car for her to easily enter. These folks are as dependable as they come. I've used them twice already. Wish I didn't have to because it was the results of accidents (that I was in, not that I caused :). Working through insurance was a breeze and they were able to find the parts for my older cars. You can drop off after-hours by using their dropbox. I have been using these guys since the 2000's after using many other good body shops. This company is part of njm certified repair shops. They have consistently done excellent work fairly priced quickly. I got a small fender bender during the Covid pandemic. They made the repair painless. They came to me to do the estimate to pick up for repair and returned it to me. I'm medically compromised and didn't want to be exposed they respectfully handled this seamlessly. My car was returned disinfected cleaned and perfectly repaired. My car looks brand new. If you need body work of any kind no matter how big or small a job it is you can't go wrong using them. J&E Auto Body's slogan is we meet by accident. Yes, we met by accident but I was treated right. They have Saturday hours - a big plus. They worked with me for drop off on a Sunday and a late night pick up during the week. They completed the work ahead of schedule. Any issues they had with insurance company estimate, they worked out directly with the insurance company and did not involve me. The work is excellent. I have a 2011 Land Rover LR4. I was driving on the pkwy and the windshield molding popped off nearly scaring me to death. I tried ordering rivers to pop it back in place, didn't work. Then I tired to gorilla glue it (I know, terrible). I just didn't have the time to bring it anywhere. I had my husband bring it down the street from our house and they were able to pop it back in and use a very strong adhesive to fix it. When my husband went to pay they didn't charge us. I remember my parents always using them for all body work growing up and now I know why. They are very nice, helpful and professional. Won't go anywhere else read more

J & E was one of the preferred choices of my insurance company and they did a great job. They went beyond just fixing the car and were very pleasant to work with. At the end there was an issue with a warning light and they paid for a car rental for 5 days while they fixed the issue. A day after the car was done I noticed condensation in the new head light. They ordered a new part and fixed it no questions asked. Took less than a week and were very accommodating to my schedule. The bodywork was extremely well done and paint color matches perfectly.
