My relatively new car ran into a snag with the battery and I had to work with Mazda's Roadside assistance to get my car towed to the service center. Mazda collaborated with AAA and that's how Quality 1st came into play. Right from the time my towing was scheduled, an associate promptly called to inform the timing of the pick up and later when the towing driver Lucky Singh showed up, he handled the car so well and got it dropped off at the service center ahead of time. The owner was nice enough to follow up on the service to get feedback too. I'm not sure of the pricing since my car is still under Mazda's warranty but their service was spotless and professional. Quality 1st Towing helped me out tremendously. I was on my way to PA from NY and my vehicle broke down on me while driving on the NJ Turnpike and I had family with me as well. I called my insurance company but the company they provided couldn't assist me as I needed the car towed back to NY. After doing research and seeing good reviews, I decided to give Quality 1st a call. The dispatcher, Peter, who I spoke with was very professional and courteous. They were ready to send out a driver within 30 mins. Unfortunately I was not ready as I needed to have the vehicle moved away from the turnpike through Emergency Services and needed my other family members to come with another vehicle as I had to transfer my personal belongings and family safely. After informing them I was ready, they were still able to have a driver out to me within 30 mins. The driver Chris (I believe this was name, apologizes in advance), was quick and took care of things right away and carefully. He brought my car safely back to NY. Charged twice for towing service. Poor communication. Would Not recommend. Dispatcher was helpful. New driver not helpful.

Was towed, needed a quote and the dispatchers suck. First they give inaccutrate estimates for eta, instead of 30 min I had to wait 90 min, when the dispatcher said it would take another 3 min it was another 20 min. Then I needed a quote and it seems the (different, now a guy by the name of Mike) disptacher cannot speak english as what he write is embarraing. Had to explain every thing like 5 x and then he still did not understand what I needed. It seemed he did not know what a quote is that one can present to an insurance company. Terrible service. Was told when I called truck would arrive in 30-40 mins. Not ideal, but I was in a safe spot. 1 hour later, still no truck. Called again and was told 15 more minutes. 30 mins later, called again and was told 30 more minutes. WTF??! Called Mazda Assistance Roadside and was set up with this company. ETA: 90 - 120 minutes. 2 hours go by and I called them to get an updated ETA. Was informed they were waiting for insurance payment.... which doesn't explain why I was given an ETA in the first place. But their agent promptly hung up afterwards. Reached out to Mazda and they told me, the company is partnered with them. So up to you to decide whose giving me the run around. Update Edit: I was provided Nolls Brother for towing afterwards. Received a call to confirm within 15 minutes. Would recommend them over this company. read more

We acquired the services of Quality 1st Towing on Saturday, November 11 through our auto insurance folks. We needed our disabled vehicle to be transported from Cranford, N. J., to Lakewood, N. J. We were pleasantly surprised how quick Quality contacted us and was able to pick up our vehicle and start its "journey". My husband and I have been going to Quality 1st Auto for repairs for years for their fair pricing and quality work in a timely manner. This is the first time we needed a tow as my husband's car would not start. Bill came within the time our mechanic told me he would arrive. He first tried to jump start my husband's car as a check that it was not a battery issue. My husband's car had a starter issue but it was nice that Bill did due diligence to check and could possibly have saved us money.
