Tv at the bar which is good for anyone wanting a drink and wants to enjoy a show or sports. Food: I order chicken skewers and a soft shell bao and my wife order pork belly boa and wings. The bao was ok nothing great nothing bad. For both boas they were basically the same except the meat. I feel like baos should be made differently when using different proteins. It was still good for what you can get in this area. Here where I have a slight issue the chicken skewers had no flavor and if it wasn't for the suave it came with it, it was bland. You don't even see any seasoning on it or anything. The consistency of this gets better, the garlic wings my wife ordered also lacked flavor. It's like the sprinkles some garlic on top and that was that. You hardly taste any garlic flavor if any. So flavor was lacking or non existent in areas of what we ordered. By chance I was wanting some ramen, and this restaurant was in the vicinity for lunch. First, I have to give props to the restaurant. There was only one server, and she was running around, making sure that everyone is taken care of nicely. She was the hostess, server, drink maker, and order runner, during the lunch hour rush. There is a sign at the door that there might be a delay due to staff shortage, but I never felt neglected one bit. She did a great job! Second, I was only coming for ramen, but I can never resist takoyaki when I saw that it was so reasonably priced! It came out piping hot. I was trying not to burn my mouth while enjoying the takoyaki. It was delicious, and they were so generous with the Bonito flakes! The ramen arrived pretty quickly after the appetizer, and it looked amazing! The aesthetic of that ramen bowl was beautiful. I took a few pictures and quickly dove in. Broth was flavorful and light at the same time. It wasn't overly seasoned, and everything blended well together. The egg was so delicious, and the yolk was so silky smooth. I will have to get an extra egg next time I drop in for ramen! The beef smelled so good and tastes great, especially the fattier pieces. I was not so fond of the lean meat slices, but that is my preference. Over all, this was a great experience! I was in and out within 30 minutes, and that's perfect for lunch. i was really looking forward to trying this ramen restaurant when i heard two people say that it was good. i went on a thursday night and was seated fairly quickly. the interior of the restaurant is super nice and well lit and decorated and it seems pretty busy. we ordered the tonkatsu ramen and the crab bao buns. the ramen tasted like dish water. i'm not kidding. there was no flavor at all except the flavor of water. the egg also disintegrated when i tried to eat it. i like to wait till the end to eat the egg and was saddened to find that it melted in the bowl. the best thing on the table is the soft shell crab bao. the duck buns are second and the beef buns are the worst of the three in my opinion. not sure if i went on a bad night or something but there is definitely better ramen in houston. id rather make the 40-50 minute drive to eat that instead. the saving grace is the bao and the interior read more

I have to say that the chicken bao was amazing. The chicken was juicy and super crispy. The Bao was fluffy like a little happy cloud. I think next time I come I may just order two sets of them and call it. That being said the crispy garlic chicken wings were also exactly what I would expect and want from a restaurant. It was hard to choose, as my eyes were bigger than my stomach but my husband eats anything I leave on the plate so I get to diversify. He order the ramen and loved it, I was lucky to get a little bowl of his to try the broth which was rich and flavorful. This is a bit of a hidden gem. They recently opened & my husband and I thought twice about going because we have 2 toddlers; we weren't sure if they would eat there. Our waiter, Angelo, was super friendly & suggested we order them a Chicken Karrage platter from the kid's menu & it was a hit! It came with a chicken ramen soup, 'popcorn chicken', sweet potato fries, and a corn medley. It was just enough for two toddlers. It also comes with a jelly drink which we asked them to hold offf on & they had it as a dessert. As an appetizer we ordered the pork belly Bao. All I can say I wow! You've got to try it. My husband ordered a salmon/tuna Poke bowl & I ordered the Pork Belly ramen soup. The first thing I noticed as we got our food is how great the presentation is. Made a late night pit stop to Iza Robata, it is a newer restaurant to this area I've seen it quite a lot. We decided to stop by and try it, it was pretty good. Not the greatest, but not bad at all. The server was great we usually receive poor service if you're seated within an hour of closing time, but Julia our server was eager to serve. The chicken fried rice was off the chain and the edamame was exactly what it was supposed to be. I had the teriyaki beef, which was not terrible I was definitely expecting more juice and flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were a nice touch. We had a bottle of plum sake for a first time try and it tasted similar to cherry cough syrup. I enjoyed it, but will say it is more of an acquired taste. Like beer lol for all my alcohol drinkers. The seafood ramen: Way too salty, the seafood wasn't well prepared. The mussels were hard, not even remotely chewy. My Ma tore one with her teeth like it was jerky. The shrimp were ok and the scallop was overcooked and rubbery. My Ma didn't finish half of it before giving up on it. The spicy miso duck ramen: The soup base had NO flavor. It was just brothy water. The duck was laughable. They give you about half a duck breast and that is grey and overcooked. Like it was leftover duck tossed into the soup. The spices to make the ramen spicy were the only seasoning that I could detect in the dish. I tried to eat my whole bowl but didn't finish it either..
