Honestly disappointed. Me and my family were so excited to try this spot. They promote it so much on instagram even exotic like drinks that my mom tried to ask about and the server looked at us like we were crazy! After we said we didn't really speak Spanish the waiters treated our table rudely. There was one waitress in specific who was very rude, she had black hair and wearing braids. The food was not bad but honestly customer service really matters and I would never go back solely due to the experience we had with all the waitresses and servers. Not recommended. read more

Service was ok. Food was good. We went in on Thursday at 7pm to celebrate my birthday, and my partner got a michelada during their happy hour. When it came to pay, the lady didn't even show us our receipt. Turns out she charged us regular for the michelada and not their happy hour price. When I told her she said she's look into it, and just avoided us afterwards. On top of that, they don't have pricing for drinks. The food and the vibe was amazing. This place has been on my try-out list for a while. My husband & and I finally had some time to check it out. We ordered some michis, a Molcajete and the large prawns & clams recommended by our waitress. We literally took a LONG time deciding on what to order because in the menu looked so freaking good!!. The prawns & clams that Marisela recommended was delicious! Our waitress Marisela was amazing! We've driven by this location countless of times; but never had the chance to actually try it. Unfortunately for us, we finally tried it. They do offer free parking in a lot adjacent to the restaurant. You walk along the street to the front. Once you enter - you'll have to wait and hope one of the employees notice you to be seated. We went during the Dia De Muertos festival in downtown. So I am not sure if they are use to this amount of traffic or if it was just an off day for the chef and servers. Food was flavorless. Oysters are not fresh. The best thing we had was the free chips and salsa and the bottled beer. The service? There wasn't any. Besides taking our order and flagging her down to pick up the oysters - she never came to check on us. * DISCLAIMER - I was not charged for the oysters, but that was after having to deal with the server trying to teach me how to eat oysters and the owner wasting 20 mins of my time trying to blame his supplier for the lack of freshness and flavor. And to top it all off... if you thought you were going to dinner to enoy the company of those you came with; think again. Came here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Tuesday afternoon. We had seen all the hype on IG and we were in the area so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was not busy AT ALL. Food was ok, very overpriced for the portion but worst of all, customer service was HORRIBLE!!! Our waitress was not friendly at all. She wasn't rude, but very short, no smiles, not friendly, just kind of cold. But the worse part, we waited so long to get our food and all we ordered was 1 sope and 1 tostada de ceviche mixta. Mind you, it was not busy at all. There were about 6 staff members that were there making content for their social media and that seemed to be their priority. They were more focused and worried about the social media content instead of the actual customers that were in the restaurant. My boyfriend and I were about to ask for the check for our drinks and leave when our food finally arrived. The sope did have good flavor but it was soggy and cold, as if it had been sitting there for a while before it was brought to us. The tostada was good but not worth $20!!! If it was a bigger portion I wouldn't have minded paying $20, but it was literally just enough for 1 tostada!!! And in all the time we waited for out food, the waitress never brought us more chips and salsa. She could have at least brought us more to make up for the fact that it was taking so long for us to get our food. As we walked out i turned to my boyfriend and said, horrible place, never coming here again and another customer heard me and she said, OMG yes! I was really craving mariscos and unfortunately this just was not it.... I ordered the tostada de ceviche and I couldn't stomach more than a few bites. The fish itself tasted like it was marinated in artificial lime juice, the artificial taste was so strong that even after putting a lot of hot sauce it was still too much to handle. My boyfriend had the mojara frita which he did enjoy. The service here was also not the best, the person waiting on us was rude and inattentive. The server didn't seem too enthused to work or serve us; like we were putting her out of her way and didn't bother checking in on us. We were served chips, salsa and refried beans. The beans and salsa were served in containers the size of shot glasses. We asked for more chips later and we were told we'd have to pay since the first serving is complementary - who the hell does that?! The food was average, but overpriced - although I will say they do have good rice and beans. Check your bill before you pay. Even though we all requested separate checks, the server tipped herself and included the gratuity in the bill. Real presumptuous of her since the service sucked. NEVER GOING BACK! read more

I leave this review due to there being two pieces of hairs INSIDE my food not outside but inside so when I took a bite a big white hair was coming out. Also the mango was expired so it wasn't edible to eat. The place was also dirty from the floor it looked like there was food from days ago just sitting on the floor. The service was alright they brought the drink like in five minutes but the food took like 40 minutes to receive and it was only us and another family in the restaurant nobody else. I am Hispanic as well I love my Hispanic people but this isn't right for there to be hair inside of peoples food they should start wearing hair nets if there are going to cook most of the people cooking in the kitchen did not have hair nets on big red flag.
