I dont know if this is the same truck that came to the Viano apartments in Riverside on 11/1 but they have the same name aha. I need to acknowledge how amazing the food was. I got the Carne Asada fries and the ceviche! The fries were top tier flavorful and delicious! The fries are crispy without being greasy and the steak was so good without all the fatty parts. The guacamole on top was an added bonus!! The ceviche was good, I'll be honest i definitely have had better but still really good!! I added extra lemon juice to it once I got home. The guy working the truck window was so nice and he didn't have change for $100 so he got tipped well so I could attempt to get change back aha totally worth it! They did a great job!!! My husband and I had to go to Riverside to pick up Something. So I jumped on TikTok to see what hidden hole in the wall gem we could try. We were 12 minutes away from this food truck. I got the TOSTADA DE CEVICHE Ceviche Damaso (Shrimp My husband got the Marlin fish taco (their special today) & Aguachile El Pelotero (Black Sauce) And we were generously gifted a Pescado (Beer Battered Fish) & Camaron (Beer Battered Shrimp). The shrimp ceviche was so fresh and flavorful. And they do not skimp on the shrimp! For $12 they serve you a lot! The Marlin taco was good. Had so much flavor. The Aguachile El Pelotero (Black Sauce) had a nice spice to it. The fried fish and shrimp taco! My god they were good! The batter was nice and light and wasn't weighed down by batter. It was perfect. My husband tried the Aguachiles shrimp and added octopus it was spicy and very flavorful, 2 tacos gobernadores one shrimp and one octopus he loved them. I ordered 3 fish tacos BOMB, and a fried fish torta too it wasn't on their menu, but I asked and they made it loved it. I'm currently pregnant so I ordered a virgin michelada and my husband got a prepared mineral water with lemon and salt it was so yummy!!! I will definitely come back to try more things on their menu. I truly recommend you to try this place at least once if you're in the area passing by! You won't regret it. Best part - I'm a fan of great customer service. I personally tried the fish taco & the Diablo agua chiles I was so impressed at my first bite! The fish was fried to perfection, there's a light tartar style sauce on the cabbage slaw, with the habanero salsa on the side. It's not too spicy & delicious! Be sure to add a little on. The Diablo agua chiles is so ORIGINAL too! I've never had anything like it personally. A tad spicy if you're not into spice. A lime, smoked chime style marinade. Topped with avocado & cracked pepper. I'm from the area originally & visit monthly from vegas. I will think about the food from this truck probably until I come back. Lol. So good. They pack the tacos with a lot of flavorful slaw style veggies, creamy sauce and the tortilla holds up together great. The ceviche was diced shrimp, cucumber, purple onion, and lime juice, one of my favorite combinations. After having told the wife, "come on creme brûlée off a food truck?" I was left thinking, "come on, get me another one!" My son ate the I cream and cookies, the wife ate some creme brûlée which I finished because it was freaken good. Good flavor and perfect crisp layer. The sushi rolls were all exploding with flavor and had just the right amount of spiciness. I especially liked the mochis roll while the wife preferred the Spicy Tuna. Threw some habanero sauce on the fish tacos and hot dignity they were spicy and full of flavor!!! Glad I got an ice cold coke along with the meal. On a scale from 1-10 I give this place a solid 12. It's freaken good and you can't go wrong.
