Huevos Rancheros con Chile Verde with A side order of Chile torreado, I asked for a spicy salsa and Camilla suggested the salsa they make their costillas in. It was delicious! As you're seated, you're served with chips and salsa! The salsa actually has a kick! Food was very tasty! The energy they have is like having breakfast at your favorite tias house! I've been coming here for over 25 years. If I'm not ordering their green chile chicken enchilada plate for dinner, I'm here for breakfast ordering their huevos rancheros. I remember when the sons of the owner were kids like I was back when I first started coming here with my parents. Now they're grown and running the place. Oops...This was the camarones la diabla and a chimichanga. The aroma was so enticing that I jumped right in. I was not disappointed ....the shrimp were perfectly prepared, the sauce at first was more sweet than spicy, but after a few mouthfuls I could feel the that. My son ordered the carnitas chimichanga/dry. He said the pork was very flavorful. Overall the service is very friendly, the food...mouthwatering and the prices aren't too much. My husband got the 2 crunchy taco meal with shredded beef and I got a combo plate with chili relleno and 1 beef taquito. We also got the carne asada nachos to share. We got a small plate of the nachos because we already ordered our own individual meals. However, my husband liked it so much that he ordered another plate! Dos Pablos is a true hidden gem in Jurupa Valley. This is a family owned restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. The interior is not much to look at, it will never win any beauty awards, however the wall mounted jukebox loaded with Tejano jams that I cannot understand, and the barber shop two doors down add to its street cred. I've been here a few times and the food is consistently good and the salsa has a kick to it. The Chile Rellenos are made fresh and are on point. In addition the chicken or cheese enchiladas are full flavored due to the house made mole which complements the beans and rice perfectly. My co-workers recommend the camarones de la plancha and the tortas. Truly something for everyone here, plus a good selection of Mexican beers. read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. Ordered chorizo with eggs, chilaquiles solo, and chilaquiles with meat to go. Food was delicious but the portion in my opinion was small. "Don't judge a book by its cover," famous words. I've been sketchy about this place for a while. I drive by it every once in a while and I always seem to pass it by. This place fits the description of "hole-in-the-wall" to a tee. There's an older, wiser man I know and he loves good eatin'. He's been telling me about this place for a while now. Other places he's recommended have been outstanding, (I was feeling brave) so why not give it a try. I ordered their carne asada burrito (dry). It goes for just under $5 and it's medium sized, not overwhelming. It comes with beans and pico de gallo. A little different than your common rice, cilantro and onions. The carne asada in this burrito is different to, it almost feels like your eating shredded beef. Trust me it's good, my white friends are all over it hahaha. I wanted to give this place a 5 star but the place inside does looks a little run down. No decor, no music, no nice furniture, just a room with walls. I've been told they recently renovated.... I would have never guessed. I'll just stick to calling my order in. read more

If I could give this place less than a star I would. This review will be based solely on food and not the appearance of the place since I could careless if it's in bad shape as long as they serve good food. Unfortunately, this place does not serve good food but it does serve substandard food. THE FOOD: I ordered carne asada nachos, because everyone raved about them. I was left wondering why in the world any of these reviewers exalted them. I can make better nachos at home. The carne asada is not done on a grill; and this folks is how carne asada is done. Carne asada is not pan seared, pan fried, or done any other way then on a flaming hot bbq grill and apparently every reviewer has forgotten that important fact. The cheese was American cheddar cheese and if anyone knows anything about Mexican food they do not use yellow cheese. Any who, I digress, the cheese was literally sprinkled on and rationed. The beans weren't bad. The nachos consisted of chips, beans, a sprinkle of cheese and pan fried red meat not carne asada. This appetizer is a complete fail. I ordered a chicken taco and a side of guacamole. The chicken taco was just "meh," nothing special. The chicken meat was tough and not tender. The guacamole is a complete fail. They put chunks of white onion which is a total turn off. I ordered an horchata--lets just say this was a prepackaged dry mix. Fail! Overall, I wouldn't come here ever again. I don't understand why they're still in business--am I missing something? I see Latinos/Hispanics in here and I truly wonder why? Did their mothers not cook well? But then I figure it out, they are single men and just want to eat something familiar. I really wanted to love this place but it was a complete fail. My favorite Mexican place (Papis Tacos al Carbon) was bought out by Mr. Taco and I have been in search for a great authentic Mexican place in Riverside ever since. P.S. There are no free drink refills and no soda fountain machines here. You get your soda straight from a can. They do have horchata which is not good either. read more

The best authentic Mexican food in the area, no doubt. And the best iced tea! Service is normally good too. Only issue I've ever had was one server working and just about all tables being full. It's actually pretty good. Ordered the chilaquiles (was told they were good) but they were soggy whereas I like them when they are a bit crunchy.
