He had to remove the keyboard components and thoroughly clean the inside of my laptop. Thankfully, he was able to fix my MacBook. Ray was also incredibly helpful in explaining how to properly back up my data and what steps to take if something like this happens again. He even helped me back up my MacBook to iCloud. Saved my MacBook after an unfortunate Diet Coke spill on the keyboard…read more I was wrapping last-minute Christmas presents while watching YouTube when a roll of wrapping paper knocked over my drink. I immediately flipped the laptop over, shut it down, and left it upside down while I ran to the store for rubbing alcohol. I carefully wiped down the keyboard and called this place as soon as they reopened on the 26th. For context, Apple told me the computer would likely never work again and tried to sell me a new one. This shop was reassuring on the phone and accepted the drop-off right after the holiday break. The employee we spoke with (may have been the owner considering how competent and dedicated he was) was extremely kind at drop off. I had my computer back within 48 hours, before New Year's Eve, after a deep internal clean. They confirmed the cleaning was successful, that there was no risk of corrosion over time, and no expected shortening of the computer's lifespan. I paid under $100 and walked away with a perfectly functioning MacBook. Nearly two weeks later, there's no sign at all that anything was ever spilled. So grateful to everyone at Quick Fix!

Absolutely shady, he will do anything to get your business, but once you handover your device, you are in for a never ending wait. My first bad experience was somewhere in 2020. At that time I gave him the benefit of doubt. Recently I took my MacBook which had a blown motherboard, diagnosed by Apple authorized center. I just took it to him to see if my data can be restored. He said it may not be motherboard issues. It could also be battery issue. He tried to sell me another motherboard for around $360. Anyway I left the MacBook with him with the assurance of being called back in 1 hour. Of course I received the call, but he said the issue was with the motherboard and advised me to get the motherboard replaced. I refused and asked him to give me back my MacBook after putting the things back in. He started saying that he did not have time to put it back. Anyway after 5 hours I got it back, that too I had to personally go to his shop and wait there. He charged me $60 for diagnostics for something which Apple authorized center had already diagnosed. For what? For unscrewing and screwing back again. There was no mention of diagnosis charge when I handed the laptop. At that time also he was trying to sell the motherboard and brought down the price to less than $300. Please stay away!!!

John came out to our shop , worked with Mutoh's tech support and was able to help me get my Mutoh fixed. I needed my home networking ethernet ports identified and fixed for my mesh WiFI backhaul (some of the terminations didn't work), as well as organized and label cables. Garry was able to do all of this in a relatively short amount of time. In addition, Garry was transparent and upfront - I thought I had Cat5e wiring to make use of the 1Gbps, but turns out I only had Cat5. Garry let me know and asked me if I wanted to continue doing the job, but gave me the option to not continue if this wasn't expected. I appreciate the transparency and honesty of contractors, so this was a huge plus. Also, Garry is just a super nice and friendly being.
