The staff there is truly into their craft and provide the best time for all their services. I finally got to try their sandwiches after years of coming for their charcuteries and various classes (all of which you truly cannot go wrong with), and they were to die for. We split their classic grilled cheese and the TBB and they were both nothing short of phenomenal. The grilled cheese comes with tomato soup which was delicious, and you're able to choose a side for all their sandwich options (we chose arugula salad, which was perfectly lemony). My one and only suggestion would be to offer a toasted option for the TBB sandwich, but it was also truly great as is - I would definitely get both again! Also a random rec but they carry a pretty hard to find red sparkling wine that is AMAZING - Cleto Chiarli Lambrusco Amaible, must try!

We had great help from Emily as we made selections. Beautiful Rind has a fine variety that included several domestic and import cheeses I hadn't seen before. I would've loved to have gotten some of the soft rind cheeses available, but alas, I was traveling the next day and needed more durable cheeses! I bought four small wedges plus a goat caramel from the counter. I would be glad to return here on another trip to Chicago!

Their menu doesn't have anything marked but the server was very knowledgeable. He went through the entire menu and indicated what could be made GF. They do not have GF pasta or bread but they do have a few options for GF crackers. We ordered the crunch party, cheese board with GF crackers, brussels sprouts, and rosemary potato rosti to share. The server made sure to modify everything to be GF and had the potatoes cooked in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination. We also had the GF almond cake. When the staff brought the food, they even acknowledged it was GF before serving. The food and service were fantastic! Really appreciate how knowledgeable and accommodating the staff was. Highly recommend!

The rest of their cheeses are also fab, the cheese board my group got was phenomenal and it was clear that it was thoughtfully curated together for us. I will say the wine is pricier than not (& the wine in the fridge has a $20 corkage fee), but it's all great quality - worth it if you're looking for a unique wine experience in my opinion. It's small but cute inside, matching the chill vibe of the west side of Chicago. Our server was super friendly and added to the experience with his expertise and great vibes! Check this spot out if you have any sort of wine / cheese passions for sure

I' very picky when it come to mac b cheese, but this one is great. It's cheesy and spicy, and it comes out nice and hot! The cheese isn't separating, as they do at some places. But it can feel a little grainy, but that's nothing compared to the flavor. The flavor is delicious! Now that I know about this place I'm going to get it more often. The only reason I deducted a star was because of the wait time. There was only one guy working. I felt badly for him. How could you staff one person during the holidays? I used to work in a restaurant, and I could see he had several red tickets- red being long wait time. If they had more people staffed, this would be a 5/5.

The sourdough sandwiches with their namesake cheese on the menu seemed like good choices. I chose one with egg. Hubby got the chicken and mama lil's peppers sandwich. I'm guessing the original location in WA state is wayy better. These sandwiches were alright, not outstanding and just good to have something in the tummy before flying. This Beecher's is located in Central Market at Chicago Midway in the food court section. Customer service at the counter was no-nonsense type cashier. Overall this experience was A-OK!

I should preface that the lady I initially encountered at the Streeterville market (a few years ago) had always been great-- offering tastings, friendly and answered my questions, which is how I was hooked to a couple of their cheeses (by tasting and purchasing,) along with the friendly service I received. The staff at the Daley Plaza market is a different story. They genuinely seem bothered by anyone asking any questions or by anyone asking for tasting samples. And, on more than one occasion, I have witnessed them be downright rude/hostile toward seemingly well meaning customers asking about tastings or inquiries regarding a potential purchase (these inquires were nothing out of the ordinary, with the cheese(s) in question already open and unwrapped with little to no traffic behind). There is a very strange and irritated way of interacting with other humans at this stand. On another similar occasion, I witnessed a staff have a meltdown in front of me-- seemed angry/agitated and just stopped making eye contact/engaging, and then completely shut down. ?? I also e-mailed them about their general taste tasting policy and never heard back. They may just not care about long-term customer retention or relations. If you don't care about the treatment you receive and are okay with buying cheeses you can't taste then this may be a good place to get some cheese you would not find at a grocery store. If you value customer service and would like to taste test some cheeses prior to purchase, then this place is a gamble (depending on who is serving you and the mood they are in that day).

Vino, pasta, bread, EVO, gelato, pastries, pizza, cheese, meat...you name it, they pretty much have it...and variety of each. It is a very clean and well laid out store and we loved the proximity to our hotel. The GELATO was legit. I ordered the small COFFEE in a cup which was overpriced and a bad buy.
