I was staying next-door at the Home2 suites and the front desk said this was a great place, so I…read morefigured I'd try it out. It's sort of Italian and sort of steak and sort of a little bit of everything. Really clean, strait forward , reasonable menu, nice ambience. It feels kind of high end but the pricing is definitely mid range. I selected the tomato basil soup as my appetizer. It came with a nice toasted crustini. It was a really good soup. It tasted fresh. It had a lot of body to it like, maybe they did the tomatoes here in the house from fresh. It was definitely tomato. The basil was kind in the background, but it was a true red sauce. It was almost tomato paste or tomato sauce flavor. I would've not complained if they given it to me over a bit of penne.. It had a really nice flavor on it not too sweet not too acidic really a very good soup. It came out in a footed coffee cup so you're getting about one cup of soup. The main course was the broiled seafood platter. It was anchored by a large piece of mahi-mahi, that was amazingly well prepared, firm and tasty. To the side of that was a wonderful crabcake, one of the best I've had anywhere and definitely the best in the Carolinas. It did not have too much breading and it had a wonderful texture with lots of good crab flavor. Drizzled across all of this were scallops and shrimp. The shrimp were a little overcooked if you asked me. The scallops were sweet and perfect and everything you would want them to be. The side that comes with this is their crab fries which essentially our beer battered french fries dusted with old bay seasoning. If you've ever had the crab fries at the Philadelphia, ballpark, this is the way they do it. For dessert, I ordered the lemon cello mascarpone cake. It comes drizzled with raspberry sauce. I had visions of lemon curd, and what I got was really good and really lemonade and good cake. But it's not a very big slice. I know about the weight staff. I don't know if they're all good, but mine was exceptional and lovely to talk with. The place was very busy. It had a nice vibe to it, it could've been in South Beach or Miami or Los Angeles, not that it was over over the top just that it was very clean and nice and well done. This is a professional restaurant not some amateur attempt. I recommend it.

Casual restaurant serving a variety of items. Ahi tuna app was very fresh seared perfectly…read more My daughter had a cheeseburger and fries Burger was ok fries great I had crab cake dinner which was very good. Crab cakes were light with hefty amount of crab and a side of asparagus , grilled, which was good. Service was friendly and prompt and the vibe had a nice chill atmosphere .

This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint! Word to the wise- be ready to wait 1.5 hours…read morefor a table. We came yesterday and didn't want to wait but then came back today and got our group on the list and waited. Note that the parking close by is expensive and they won't seat you if your whole party isn't there within 5 minutes of texting that your table is ready. So yep- plan to wait and sit around. Inside it's pub style, bar available and good music, but not much seating which explains the wait ;) We ordered the 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich, the Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich and the Reuben. Our waitress recommended not getting the onion rings app and to do it as sides to save money, and man, we had SO MANY leftovers. The pork sandwich is super good but so filling. I could only eat half with all the onion rings! The Reuben was absolutely delicious and I would 1000% get that again. The best thing on the menu in our opinion: the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls with chipotle mayo- OMG. We will DREAM about these!!! I haven't seen these talked about much- TRY THEM, they were literally mouth watering and I would have eaten them as an entree and not an app! Overall we would come back again, just be prepared to wait forever for a table and you won't be disappointed!

Good service but the food was so so. Figured we would try the Guy Fieri recommendations. Nice…read morelittle spot in an old building. Only like 9 tables so plan accordingly or you will have to wait awhile. Go during off peak hours to ensure a short wait time. Now the food...... 1. Cheese Steak Egg Rolls served w/chipotle ranch......Amazing!!!! Best we have ever had. 2. 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich had an amazing balance of ingredients that would make your mouth water. Very good and the fries as well. 3. Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich was very bland and had an excessive amount of spinach. Even the Au Jus couldn't rescue this sandwich. 4. The famous onion rings. Well they must of ran out of seasoning because these were more flour than flavor. Very doughy with no spices. Not worth the $9 * The alcohol mix drinks are pretty good. Definitely taste the flavor of each. Will give you a good kick.

Facebook foodie groups and locals have been raving about this place. I came by the business last…read moreweek with my wife but she changed her mind after we pulled up. This restaurant isn't in the best part of town which I knew from reading comments online and I know the area well. I purposely just told my wife I was taking her to a secrete fried chicken place but when we pulled up she refused to park. From the outside it appears to be a run down fast food shop. Anyway I went by here today solo while on lunch. I work downtown and it's often hard to find a cheap and quick lunch spot that's not over crowded with people trying to do the same. Despite the location and physical appearance the restaurant was very crowded. I ordered a four-piece wing combo with fries at 1:30. The gentleman who took my order told me it would be 15 minutes. There weren't any open seats so I went to wait in my truck. After 15 minutes I went back inside and still waited another 15 minutes before my order was ready. This is clearly a community and family restaurant. While I waited I got a chance to check out all the baby pictures on the wall and socialize with all the other families waiting on their order. Overall I enjoyed my fried chicken but I don't understand what the hype was about. Yes it's super cheap. My order was $5 including tax but the wings were small and barely had any meat on them. I will be back but next time I will order a breast or thigh and not come during peak lunch hour.
