    Do better CookOut!!!

Do better CookOut!!! This is supposed to be a burger tray with 2 sides of cheese bites and a 3 piece chicken strip tray with 2 sides of cheese bites. Only got 2 strips and a bite of a third strip and 7 cheese bites. You get more bites in one order than what came in this tray with 2 sides. Burger was supposed to have lettuce and mayo only but got lettuce and tomato.

Yall better check your quesadillas !

Went back like a fool ... need I said more ?! This is so sad ! Where the hell is the hamburger meat at in the quesadilla ? Cookout count your days !!

Huge burger totally dry but still pink.

Thought it was rather average...got the huge burger cheddar style with Cajun seasoning....The burger was probably frozen and then cooked too fast as it was still pink but very dry....The bun and soaked up something and was falling apart....The whole thing was put together very messy and the onions didn't seemed grilled all the way....Also don't think any Cajun seasoning was even put on the burger......The onion rings were quite tasty...They had a nice breading and were cooked good......I also got a peanut butter fudge milkshake...That was probably my favorite part of the meal...the shake was super thick...Ithad sweet streaks of peanut butter running through it....Very tasty.

Love this place! The staff is always friendly, the service very efficient, and the food delicious! I know I can always count on a good experience during my lunch break or if I start craving onion rings late at night. It also helps that this place is located only minutes from where I work and just a bit farther from where I live! Got lunch here today. The drivethru was backed up pretty far at 1pm for the lunch rush, so I went up to the window. Received my food within 4 minutes. It was hot and fresh. 10/10 would recommend coming here!

Cook Out is a funny fast food joint. There's something I love about it's simplicity. It's very "no-frills". Their menu doesn't use any fancy words to describe their foods. It's simply "Fries" or "Slaw". The food trays come in styrofoam boxes. The sandwiches are wrapped in tinfoil, no branding. Hey, that's cool Cook Out. That being said--the food is still fast food quality. Cook Out tends to hit big or strike out, depending on what I get. This time around, fries were crispy, hot and tasty while my burger was lukewarm and hard to eat. They have a ton of weird milkshake flavors. Haven't tested these out, but maybe you should give that a go. Anyway, food came out lightning speed. This location actually had a sit-in lobby which I wasn't used to.

    a burnt ass quesadilla

They told me 5 minutes but really i think the quesadillas could've taken 2.... Burnt, No sauce, overcooked chicken. I don't even know how they could give their customers food like this. It's disgusting. Step up cookout. It's not that hard to make a damn quesadilla.

Super nice Cook Out located between two small strip shops, Port City Java on one side & Dunkin Donuts on the other. This location is not like most of the other Cook Outs where they only have drive-thru & walk-up ordering, this newly constructed building has the drive-thru along with an indoor dining room. I went through the drive-thru on my visit & service was very friendly & speedy, 5 or 6 cars ahead of me & I was out in about 10 minutes. The food was great, I love Cook Out burgers anyway, this new location did not dissappoint, I'll take a Cook Out chargrilled burger over any other fast food burger any day along with one of their awesome milkshakes.

There are 40 flavors of milkshakes, ya'll!!!

We were next and got the last table for two. The place was completely full. After reading the menu, the daily special was 1/2 price burgers. They also gave first responders 20% off on Mondays. They have specials every night, so it is worth it to check that out before coming in. We started with a basket of hush puppies and corn muffins with yummy molasses butter. If you get in between 3:30 and 5pm, appetizers are 1/2 price Monday through Friday. I can see why this place is so busy! So I decided on a burger, who can pass up half price day? And we also got the knuckle sandwich, which was 20% off for first responders, so my hubs got that. Off to a good start. Also tried fresh squeezed lemonade, really delicious and fair priced. The burger and the sandwich were huge, we both had to take half to go. You get one side for $1.50, but added sides are $4 each. Still ok since the prices are good. There were charges for the added bacon and cheese on my burger but still at half price, it is a great deal. The restaurant is very rustic, pub atmosphere and very relaxed. The bar was completely full, so that must be the highlight of the restaurant. Looked lively and busy. Service is very good, the servers come back to check on you often. Chloe was very sweet and attentive. The only disappointment was dessert. We chose the cake of the day. It was chocolate Bundt cake with cinnamon frosting. To be completely honest, it tasted like boxed cake mix and canned frosting. It was very small, so I knew it was probably cake mix. There was nothing special about this; it was also pretty dry. Even if they purchased their desserts from a local bakery, it would have been better than what we got. I won't say avoid all their desserts, but I wanted to point out the cake specifically. So overall: The prices were excellent, food and service is really great, and the pub atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The plus was that on a busy night, we didn't wait for a table. They do not do reservations so prepare to wait, or just go earlier. I would definitely come back here, and enjoy some more of the large menu. 5 stars

We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm, shortly after they opened to discover that they didn't even have an inside table that would seat seven. They had one table closest to the door that appeared to be a table for four but had six chairs tightly squeezed in. Our only alternative was to eat outside in 95 degree weather. One in our party even got sick while there due to the heat. The food was average but I wasn't happy that we were misled... When I asked the hostess, she stated, "We told you we'd TRY to accommodate you." If you have a party of more than four, look for another restaurant.

I ended up coming here twice in two days--once to try the NY Chopped Cheese and then again to try…read morethe Philly Cheesesteak. Let's start with the chopped cheese. As a New Yorker, I was excited to see it on the menu. And let me say this first... the sandwich was delicious. I cleaned that thing up and didn't leave a single crumb behind. The flavor was on point. Here's the only issue: it wasn't really a chopped cheese. Instead of using chopped ground beef like you'd find at a New York bodega, it was made with sliced steak. I asked the owner about it, and he explained that they used to make it the traditional way, but they switched because the ground beef would dry out by the time customers got it home or had it delivered. Using steak keeps it much juicier. I told him, "Then it's not really a chopped cheese anymore... it's basically a Philly cheesesteak." He laughed and said, "No, our Philly cheesesteak uses different meat." That caught my attention, so I said, "Hold up... you have an actual Philly cheesesteak too?" He said yes. So naturally, I came back the next day to try it. After trying both, I can honestly say I liked the "chopped cheese" much more. The Philly cheesesteak was made with Steak-umm-style beef, and unfortunately it was a little dry. It also could've used a lot more cheese (or cheese sauce) to bring everything together. I didn't complain because everyone has their own way of making things, and I respect that. But here's my opinion: if they simply renamed that "chopped cheese" sandwich to their Philly cheesesteak, it would be one of the best cheesesteaks around. In fact--and this is just my opinion--I think it would give J. Michael's Philly Deli some serious competition. At the end of the day, that's just one New Yorker's opinion. Go try it for yourself and let me know what you think!

Such a unique and different menu we started out with the Big Wes Lil' Weiners which was 4 smoked Jalapeno and cheddar sausages wrapped in an empanada crust served with an arugula chimmichuri dipping sauce. So innovative and delicious, sauce had a bite to it and the sausages were juicy and crispy with the empanada crust, highly recommend. I wanted to house made roast beef only available on the weekends but it was sold out, no surprise. Opted for the Ghostface Fillah instead.
