Very disappointing experience at Wingstop. We were missing part of our order after walking out of the store and I went back inside for a simple fix. Instead of resolving it, the shift lead, Jada, became defensive and insisted multiple times the food was in the bag. (I've worked in the food industry and would never accuse someone of stealing a $5 fry on a $50 order) I even offered for her to check my car to confirm it wasn't there, but she continued arguing and escalating the situation instead of helping. We were trying to get out of the way of other customers when we left, which is why the bag wasn't checked immediately. It was also my birthday, and we were just trying to enjoy a chill dinner, but the interaction completely ruined the experience. What should have been a quick, simple correction turned into a hostile and unprofessional interaction over a missing item. Which is why she got cussed out. Moving forward hopefully she can get herself together and do her job properly. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. If JADA, the shift lead, can cuss at customers, what else do those workers think they can get away with? Accusing someone of not having a fry and stealing it?!? Maybe Jada was intoxicated or high on the job the way she was acting, honestly she needs to be trained properly or fired. read more

how hard is it to take 5 seconds to call out food orders as they come before taking 20 more peoples orders. Not hard. They are lit losing business by having so many people in their due to them not calling out orders it keeps the place packed. I've been going to Wingstop for a few years and its gotten worse and worse. Today I decided not to go back. There's never any ice, you sell hot spicy wings and no drinks? The soda machine had hot soda in it. The fries were way to crunchy and over seasoned. Not to mentioned the restaurant was dirty. There were probably 7 people in that tiny kitchen so it wasn't about the lack of employees. The owner definitely needs to take notice. read more

I should have read the reviews before even considering to order from here. Besides all the remarks about how filthy the restaurant is and how there's never, ever ice for the soda machine, all I could think was caveat emptor - Buyer Beware! We ordered 25 wings and instead of paying the extra $3.10 for only winglets or drums, we opted for just the regular mix of both. However....we got 3 winglets total and fries just thrown in the bag, no box, cover or anything, just dumped in the bag atop the other boxes w/the wings and sauces. Sheesh, so careless and uncaring. When i called the manager to let her know, just so she could talk to the cook and make sure he was doling out at least an approximate 50/50 mix, all she said was, oh well, the just grabs a handful and that's what he cooks. When i asked if she thought that made sense, she simply said, "I don't know, it's just how we do it". Food wise- I was decently impressed for boneless wings. Also enjoyed the celery and ranch. Now I'd have given it 4 stars if it was just about food. Like y'all, come on, nobody goes to Wingstop wanting a 4 course dining taste. It's some cheap bar food type wings. So good, pretty good for me. Now onto the service. I get customer service and sometimes people are annoying as customers especially when it's busy. I asked for 6 boneless wings not the combo. He said I'm giving you 10. Sir, I just want six wings. Don't make a decision because I ain't getting a combo to up it and make me pay for something I don't want. Whatever, I have leftovers now. Our family stopped in for lunch. It was a horrible experience. Six small pigeon wings, a soda and fries $12 plus. Total, $50 plus for a unpleasant lunch! Wings were so small, not breaded and over cooked dry. There was no ice for our sodas!! No ketchup for our soggy greasy fries, no forks, no napkins, no trash can to be found. This place needed a manager,fast. But, we made some friends, while eating! About ten plus flies, constantly flew around us. We fed them. Some were newborns. The floors were sticky and dirty. The corrugated metal pan walls had food on them, as if NO ONE EVER WASHED THEM. We could not wait to get out of there. It was a sad experience, since we heard WING STOP, had YUMMY WINGS. Probably the lowest quality a wingstop can be. The only consistent thing about this location is that the drink machine will be broken.

The best wings by far I've had between Wild Wing Cafe, BDubs, Ale house ... many other places I've tried have not been as good. I always get half mild and half bbq. It's always delivered to us hot and the bag is sealed which I like. We order from here more than I want to admit. Also, by far the best ranch dressing ever. 4 stars since several times when we've ordered on the app, they send more dips than we ordered. Example- last night I requested one large ranch and one blue cheese. We ended up getting 6 blue cheese and 2 ranches. I'll include a pic. What terrible customer service. After waiting half an hour for an order I asked why it was taking so long and they told me I could leave. Literally all I asked was why it was taking so long and order after was going out after my order. They could not answer why but said if I didn't want to wait I could leave. So actually I went online I heard this place was really good and I ordered 10 wings celery and carrot sticks and a few dipping sauces. When I got there they had lost my order but they said they had been having a lot of trouble with online orders so a man took my name down and said when I want to come back and order again he would be giving me the order free oh that was really nice of him I really appreciate that we had lived in Wilmington for four years and went back to Greensboro for a few years but we're back now in Wilmington to stay and I had never heard of the wings but I'm so glad I went in there and I can't wait to try them which I might do today. I've been here so many times and the service has been fine and the food is always amazing but today I went here with my friend and it was DISGUSTING. First they are out of 95% of their drinks and there is trash everywhere (as seen in the photos I took) they obviously don't clean up same the customers who need to clean up after themselfs with the bag and cups sometimes it's not always the employees jobs but for the most part here they just don't care about anything. And I also waited a very long time for them to even come up to the cash register to take my order. Had several people waiting which is understandable since people want the food. This is the worst wingstop I have ever been to, and i travel a good amount and have visited many. All 4 of my visits with this location have been terrible. To begin with, the cashiers provide the worst service i've ever had. There's two cashiers, one of which is a girl that has airpods in and never takes them out. She also considers every request a huge inconvenience as I saw her rolling her eyes and being rude to a customer who was asking if her order was ready. Other cashier speaks so softly you probably couldn't hear him even if he spoke into a megaphone. The entire conversation took twice as long with the amount of times we had to ask him to speak up. Aside from that, every order i've placed has always had something missing or wrong. I've gotten wrong flavors and entire combos missing from my order and only realize once i'm home and almost 30 min away. When i've has these issues they've always let me know they would put credit into my account. Today I found out that their method of keeping track of their errors is a spiral notebook that they probably got for $1 at walmart. I can't help but think that there's an infinite amount of methods that are better than stapling things into a notebook and making notes with highlighter. It's not even organized by name or date. I honestly laughed out loud when they brought out the notebook because I have never heard of a business being run like this. I'll give props to the lady that actually helped us out with my 'order credits." Not only is the service bad but the entire restaurant is always filled with smoke and the restrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in a while. The good food is honestly not worth literally all the other inconveniences you go through here. I gave it a couple tries but jesus christ this is the worst restaurant i've ever been to in my life. If you're looking for wings you might as well go to your local 7/11 because your experience there will likely be better than ordering here. After waiting 40 min for my online order, and asking twice for an update, the cashier tried to hand me my food that had been sitting on the rack for about 30 min then got an attitude when I asked for fresh food. Then I watched in horror as the fry cook took my cold fries from the bag and put them back in the grease while giving me direct eye contact. The in store manager couldn't have cared less and the GM had to be contacted so I could get my money back. In total I spent 1 hour in the lobby. This was our second visit to Wingstop in a week. The wings and fry's are crazy good! We've tried the Louisiana and Lemon Pepper dry rubs and they were amazing. Tons of flavor! The Mango Habanero was really good, it's sweeter and not has hot as BWW. They also know how to do crispy very well, just like we like em'. We will definitely be frequent customers. Placed a $25 order only to be told by the door dashers companion that I did not order a drink. The door dasher then proceeded to yell from the street sitting in her car that I did not order a drink. The drivers companion then told me he was going to get her to go back to the store and get it. I then called the store to find out what happened. No ownership no apology probably no future business from me. I didn't get my receipt either. I was severely disappointed because I never got a single apology from anyone as I searched for my drink. This is my absolute favorite wing place in Wilmington. There is no bad flavor on the menu. If your a blue cheese fan, you won't be let down. One of my favorite blue cheeses (the ranch is super good too). And there are days where I crave these specific fries because they are so good. I highly recommend this place! read more
