It's been two years since being in NJ and I alway stop here for pizza. Come to find out that they sold out. The first thing that came to mind is will the pizza be just as good, yes it was and much better. By the menu size it's more then a pizza parlor. Now the only thing I can really speak about is the pizza and it was really good! When I first walked in I was greeted and was shown a menu (lol come to find out it was the owners son) I told him what I was looking for and he said to look at the Combo Pizza so I ended up getting that. I'm warning you all - their food is terrible. I ordered a chicken vodka parm sandwich. The vodka sauce wasn't even vodka sauce. It was thick and orange and tasted like yellow American cheese??? It did not taste like vodka sauce at all. It wasn't the right consistency and the flavor was completely wrong. I was so disappointed. I wish I could give this place zero stars. $10. I ordered garlic knots. They are not really garlic knots. They are some kind of buns with NO garlic flavor. No oil. Just a light dusting of cheese. $5. I ordered a garden salad with chicken. The grilled chicken was cold and stringy/rubbery texture. I was hard to chew I almost choked. The salad had a few olives, two or three small pieces of cucumber, three peppers, and a slice of a carrot. I'd say they were very cheap because it was really just lettuce for $10. The tiramisu was awful. It tasted very acidic. The guy told me it's not homemade but I gave it a chance for $4. Literally did not taste like espresso, it was like thin sponge cake not lady fingers on the bottom. The mascarpone was acidic and too stiff. Not light and creamy and fluffy like I wanted. read more

I wanted to pick up a pizza for dinner so I started seeing what was available in the area. Everyone seemed to have a Grandma Pizza on the menu so I figured I would give one a try. The pictures for Italy's best looked so good with the pesto drizzle that they won me over. When I called it in, she asked if I wanted the pesto drizzle or the garlic. Now she had me second guessing myself because the pesto looked so good. I asked if I could do the garlic (which was her preference) and get some pesto on the side. This is the right move! The pesto was great but very strong so it was nice to have the option to add it as needed. It smelled so good I almost snagged a slice out of the box on the way home. I'm glad I waited because it tasted excellent as well. We had leftovers for days and I kept snagging a slice whenever I could because it was so good. Quick to answer the phone for ordering takeout. Staff is pleasant and professional. Ordering the Chicken Francese was disappointing. The ownership changed and the recipe for this dish DID NOT make it. This used to be our favorite dish. I would tell the previous owner that their Chicken Francese was the best I have ever had. I travel all over the world 3 - 4 times a month. I have tried this dish hundreds of times. Believe me when I say it WAS the best tasting with a large portion of soft tender breaded chicken cooked moist and with just the correct amount of seasoning & lemon flavor. Oh just thinking about the dish makes my mouth water. Unfortunately the current dish as so average and over cooked, smaller portions and lacking real lemon flavor. We have tried the dish at least 4 times with the same result. We just go to a competitor when we want Chicken Francese. Too bad! read more

I ate here with a friend after reading some good reviews of the place, and we were both really pleased with the food. The plain cheese pie was delicious, and the slices we ordered were quite large. We also got sandwiches. I think it's difficult to find a really tasty eggplant parm, but Italy's Best III makes a very good one. My friend ordered the chicken Francaise sandwich and loved it! The food is fresh tasting and delicious. The staff here is really friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to working our way through the menu. read more

We stopped here on the way home from Seaside Heights. The foods was decent at good prices. Really liked the staff! They are on top of their game! We ordered our food and it was our within 15 mins. That's with them starting to get busy at that point. I highly recommend the Brooklyn Sicilian Pizza! The plain was ok and the cheese steak was ok. Really not the way I like it but it was ok. Our family enjoys the food, we have never had a problem and they are very good at getting our order correct. We don't eat in, we always order for delivery. I say all of that to qualify my next complaint as valid and coming from sincerity. Italy's Best has now joined quite a few establishments charging their loyal customers a service fee for using credit cards. I believe this trend started during COVID and here we are, three years later. These fees are utterly UNACCEPTABLE. Why anyone willingly puts up with this blows my mind. Using credit cards are for the ease of payment of YOUR CUSTOMERS, it is what they call "the cost of doing business." If the credit card companies are charging you more, than that's your business' ISSUE, NOT MINE. In this economy with prices rising daily through the roof and customers already paying more for regular take-out, this fee is unconscionable. So I have to cruise by the ATM in order to not be charged a fee? I don't think so. No hard feelings, but I will not order from you anymore or anyone else who steals money from me. I have my hands FULL WITH THE GOVERNMENT ROBBING ME EVERY DAY. Maybe nobody else cares, but they should. read more

While the regular pizza was ok, the Margarita pizza was HORRIBLE! I can't believe this place got so many 5 stars! Margarita pizza was so soggy I thought they spilled a glass of water on it. I complained but apparently there was no one in charge there so they did nothing about it!!! I am not the type of customer to ever complain. I have worked in the restaurant industry myself and understand how busy it can get. My family has also ordered from this place for at least 17 years. Lately the food has been unpleasant as well as the staff who is managing the phones on a Friday night .Several times our order has been messed up due to the restaurants mistake, and we have never been offered anything, just a quick response "oh we are sorry, but you will have to wait another 45 minutes for your order".
