First time trying Linda's- I called to make sure they delivery to my area and the owner (I believe from how it sounded) was super nice & helpful. We ordered on a Sunday evening, super late so I'm not going to totally blame them but the pizza came looking/tasting super dry. I threw it in the oven for 10 min and it was SO good!!! 5 stars on the food. We ordered eggplant and cheesesteak subs with onion rings. They were all outstanding. Only complaints were the t.v was very loud. Stormy weekend and was really in the mood for some soup. Decided to try Linda's. Let me just say, they have the best pasta fagioli I've ever had! Delicious! Found hair in meatball!!! I must say that I used to love love love this establishment. The food is absolutely delicious and they almost give you a personal feel when you call to place an order. for example, they know who you are by your phone number and have a list in their computer of foods that you usually buy or have bought with whatever special instructions you have. Golly gee folks, I never would have thought about going to this delicious pizza joint if the deli next door wasn't serving food at the moment. But everything happens for a reason. Linda's is a very nice Italian joint that serves a lot more than just pizza. I liked hearing the employees speaking Italian among one another, it felt like I had just teleported to Trieste for lunch. While the restaurant was only open for takeout, I was wildly impressed with the quickness and swiftness of the kitchen when I ordered the Ocean Gate philly cheesteak! Covered in mushrooms, peppers, onions, Swiss and pure delicious steak, I couldn't have asked for a better meal! I've been going to Linda's every Summer for the past 20 years. It has always had great food and fast service. The past few years I have become a resident and Linda's is my go to for the nights I don't feel like cooking or need something quick. Their BBQ Chicken Pizza is AMAZING. Their Eggplant rollatini is excellent. Their Chicken Parm is the best in immediate area. The prices are reasonable and they have a good Italian menu. I recommend them if you are in the mood for a good pizza or a Italian dinner entree to go. read more

Two weeks ago my fiance and I ordered a pizza which was decent. Not the best I have had down here. Saturday night my fiance ordered a eggplant parm sandwich which was decent (again not the best I've had).. I ordered a roast beef sub with cheese. The subs come with tomatoes, lettuce and onion. I just got a plain sub with nothing on it..not even the cheese. I was very disappointed. My fiance did not feel like driving back to get it corrected. Would have liked to give Zero Stars... to Linda's Pizza In Ocean Gate NJ. Order a Special last month for the first time. Grandpa pizza, Garlic knot and a 2l Drink for $19.99.... They tried to charge $3 more for the 2l soda that was include with the coupon and give me a plain pie instead of the grandpa pie. My pie was mixup and was sent to another customer for deliver witch i had to wait for the driver to bring back tot correct pie to me..... So i Give they another shot today 7-30-21 for the same special when i get there to pickup my order they try to give me a grandma pie instead of a grandpa pizza.... which anyone knows is told different sauce and and cheese. The Pizza maker said he read the ticket wrong.... I could see the ticket hang and it was clearly written for grandpa pizza.... Then they try to still give me the wrong pizza and say we will give you little vodka sauce on the side.... Not even were sorry we will make a new pizza or free pizza next time....
