First time here. Have driven past it many times, but never thought to go. A friend suggested it, so it was the first time for both of us. Service was a little slow. There were people that came in after us that were able to place their orders and get their food before is. Food itself was pretty good though. I'm Italian and grew up on homemade Italian food and homemade sauce/gravy, so I'm a pretty big critic of Italian food. I got the chicken parm. The marinara on the chicken parm was very good. It comes with a side of fettuccine Alfredo, which was also very good. The only part of the dish that I was iffy about was the breading on the chicken. It tasted like panko crumbs. Maybe it was homemade bread crumbs that were just really thick too?? I dunno, but I prefer fine, seasoned breadcrumbs and the thickness of the bread crumbs threw me off and it was not seasoned at all. Thankfully the marinara was so good that it camouflaged the unfortunate chicken. I'd definitely be open to try more items on the menu so I will be back. read more

We found this place as a result of the wonderful reviews found on Yelp! We have been here a total of three times now and let me tell you, CONSISTANT! It has been fantastic each time we have been in. We have tried something new on each visit and so far EVERYTHING has been great! They have the best garlic bread and they will keep it coming. I am a huge iced tea fan and they have the best. I recommend this to anyone looking for great Italian food. read more

Nice little restaurant with good service. Food was very good particularly the cannaloni House wine was excellent. Only thing that was just ok was the garlic bread. Definitely worth trying and will go back again. read more

Have eaten here 3 times, have been impressed each time. Excellent food, very attentive service, great experience overall. Recommend this place for a good meal!!! read more

Recommended by a friend. Don't be fooled by the simple strip mall exterior. Food, atmosphere, staff were all great!

Moved to Spring from New York 7 weeks ago and my family and I have been searching for a place to call home for our pizza needs and we finally found it! I am excited to do a sit down dinner and get to the rest of the menu but for now we are pleasantly surprised to have a piece of real pizza pie. Thanks! read more

Great small Italian restaurant. Very attentive wait staff and pricing is reasonable. Had two baskets of the bread while enjoying some wine. Ordered the Fra Diavolo, a spicy sausage and ziti pasta dish, with tomatoes and mushrooms. I like spicy, so this was right up my alley. Also, had the house salad, which was nothing special, but was not bad either. A classical guitarist was playing, which happens on Thursday nights. Nice ambiance and a perfect place for a nice, un-rushed dinner. read more

The food here was outstanding. The service was also very good! Definitely coming back!

The wife and I met a college buddy for supper and picked this place because it's halfway between us. The reviews looked good, so it fit the bill. Wow, did we chose well. This place is amazing. Excellent service, wonderful food and reasonable prices. We will be back! read more

Awesome little hole in the wall place, I had the cheese ravioli and it was great. Their garlic knots are delicious, definitely can't have just one. You can tell that everything is fresh here; there's an open window that sees over the kitchen, so you can watch them making their breads and pizzas. The restaurant is small compared to others but the food and service is great, the hostess was attentive and friendly to everyone, she had seated us as well as brought out our beverages, took our orders and brought them to our table. She was awesome. I will be coming back indefinitely the next time I'm craving homemade, fresh Italian. read more

For our 37th Monthiversary dinner, we went to one of our Most Favorite Spots... the Italian Cafe on Kuykendahl. It's Saturday night and we know they are going to be packed and that we might have to wait...and it was. We arrived at 6:58pm, just 2 minutes ahead of the crowd. We only waited about 2 minutes and were seated at the last table that was open. Right when we were seated, 9 people walked in the door. Our waitress, Zoly, which we had before, was right there and stayed on top of everything the entire night. She is terrific. They brought out their very garlicky bread rolls that were deliciously wonderful. I ate two basket fulls (wife had 2 breads). We started off with some Cabernet Sauvignon which we really love. Great tasting, very smoooooth wine that soooooths ones tummy and satisfies the brain. We did not order any appetizers because we know they serve a lot of food on the plate and I wanted room for desert. My wife ordered the Special..the Seafood Shells; Large Shells stuffed with Shrimp, Crab, Whitefish & Salmon with Creamy White Sauce, oven baked. (this is not listed on their menu but they hope it will be). I ordered the Chicken Napolitano; lightly breaded & fried Chicken Breast, topped with Roasted Red Peppers, Ham, Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce, oven baked. Our waitress brought our salads which had cold, crisp, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots and a dressing that was really tasty. This was the best salad ever. The main entree's arrived as we finished the salads and they looked beyond delicious. My wife said that this is by far the Best Stuffed Shells she has ever had. Each bite was filled with the taste of all the S.C.W.S. inside and with that Creamy White Sauce...it exploded in your mouth an unbelievable deliciousness. I know, I ate the last one. My Chicken Napaolitano was the most tastious I have ever had. The Chicken was seasoned throughout and the toppings were just the right touch...this Chef knows what he is doing. When we finished, I was full, but still wanted desert. They write on the Blackboard what deserts they have that day and listed was 'Pumpkin Cheesecake'. Hey, it's October and that is 'Pumpkin Month'...so naturally I ordered the Pumpkin Cheesecake. I was not disappointed. This Cheesecake had a light Pumpkin taste that was really, really good.. not strong at all but not weak. The texture was very creamy and rich but not overly sweet. It came with carmel drizzled all over the plate and Pumpkin Cheesecake. I ate it all and never regreated being stuffed to the hilt...whatever a hilt is. We love the Italian Cafe and tonights dinner is the reason why we love it here. Yes, our waitress, Zoly, received yet another 'Dollar Bow Tie'....and she does remember the other ones she received from us. When we left at 8:45pm, there were 12 people waiting for a table. This place is really busy on the weekends, but it is worth the wait if you have too. We try to come here during the week nights to avoid the crowd. If you have not ever been here, do yourself a 'flavor' and do so.....and save room for desert. read more

Looking to replace our favorite spot that shutdown for some unknown reason. After several tries at other places, we walked into this place and found it! Great little place where you can really tell it's taken care of, and loved by the owners. Clean, great tasting food and atmosphere. Looking for some great Italian food, this is must go to place for sure! Will be back!! read more

I don't know what happened tonight. It's usually pretty good. We got our food to go and it was all super salty and extra greasy. Even the rolls had so much butter or oil absorbed in them. Our kid had a cheese pizza. It didn't look appealing and she took one bite and wouldn't eat the rest. We gave her some spaghetti and she wouldn't eat that either because of the saltiness. I could only eat a few bites of my lasagna. It's a Sunday night, so maybe there's a new cook? I don't know. I'm hoping this review will help to make improvements. Typically I'd give 3 or 4 stars. Just tonight I'm giving 2. I'm sure we'll be back to give it another try. I look forward to increasing these stars. read more

Just enjoyed a delicious dinner here tonight. This was our first time to eat here and we were a bit concerned when there was only few diners eating. (That changed by the time we left.). We had 7 in our party and everyone left full, content and happy. Great service and food. We will be back. read more

This place is awesome. Great food, good price, very responsive service. as crazy as it sounds even the ice tea was great.

EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! We had Caesar Salad, Grilled Chicken Leonardo and a Chocolate Mousse Cake. Nothing disappointed, not even the customer service. It was nice and clean, inviting and comfy! Highly recommended... read more

Being 38 weeks pregnant we are going out more often until the due date so one of our "homebody bucklist" places to go was Italian Cafe. The staff were very attentive, the Veal Marsala came loaded with mushrooms and the portion was great. Please let the community know when you get big and move. read more

My wife and I stumbled across this little gem of a cafe. The food is AMAZING, and the staff is very friendly. We have been back several times and always love the different dishes we have tried. Be sure to ask for the bread, you will not be disappointed! read more

One of the best places I've eaten in a long time. I've become a regular here and that's because of their AMAZING food. The garlic bread rolls they give you are fantastic. Try the spinach and artichoke dip!! They have half price appetizers every tuesday. Their fettuccine alfredo is also to die for. I never ever leave unsatisfied. read more

This was our first trip, and the Service was great, ask for Sarah, She was on her game tonight! 3 kids shared the large pizza, and loved it! Good recommendations from the staff, and the dishes with cream sauces were good. We'll go back for a red sauce dish. Also, we've lived in the area for 3+ years and driven right by because it seems like a hole in the wall, don't judge the book by its cover!!! Place was full, and there was a wait by the time we left, well worth it! read more

We love this place! We live very close and still come here all the time and we don't get sick of it. The owners and kitchen staff really do their best to create a unique and excellent dining experience. The little garlic bread squares and the homemade salad dressing are awesome! My Wife and I have had almost every dish there and have never been disappointed. Service is always on point too! An absolute diamond in the rough. read more

We get really tired of Italian chain restaurants. The service is usually subpar, the food is usually bland and they continue to raise their prices. I was craving real authentic Italian food last week so I convinced my boyfriend to try this place with me after reading the reviews. It was amazing! I had the cannelloni and he tried the lasagna. Both entrées came with a salad and garlic butter bread knots. Their homemade Italian dressing on the salad was amazing. There could've been a bit more garlic on the garlic bread but the texture and warmth was fabulous! We wanted to get dessert but we did not have the room! With two large entrées that included salad and bread and only drinking water before tip our bill was only $27. My boyfriend wants to try the pizza after seeing it in person and there are about five other things on the menu I'd like to try including their tiramisu and lemon mascarpone cake! It's a smaller setting so it's very intimate and the servers do bus their own tables as well as seat you but we felt like we had spectacular service! I broke my foot a week ago so I came into the restaurant on a scooter and they were fully accommodating and polite as they could be. Can't wait to return! read more

The garlic knots served at the start of our meal were really good and buttery - I had to stop myself at one! My friends and I weren't too hungry, so we ordered two pastas to share. The Pasta Scampi Romana was the winner of the night - flavorfully sauteed in white wine, and came with plenty of tomato and shrimp. The Pasta Pescatore came with a generous serving of seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari, scallops) but we agreed that the tomato sauce was a tad too salty. read more

Chicken Alfredo was amazing and your pizza was tops. I think we found our new Italian place. Black and white mouse cake was perfect, not to sweet but I wanted a bigger slice... overall.. highly recommend this place. read more

This was a really nice place, nothing fancy. I had lasagna, and it was excellent! When it came out it looked really small at first, but look can be decieving. I was very full. The service was also excellent. The waiter was very attentive. I'll definitely be back! read more

I must say I'm very disappointed. I had to make time today and post my review. I have eaten here several times and never was disappointed. Good Friday I decided I wanted to eat here. I called my order in right when they were opening back up for dinner. I wanted to try the chicken parmesan and I was not happy. I believe in supporting the locals. I always go next door and order from the wine bar. The biggest problem I had was my food very bland and my chicken was so dry I couldn't get it down. I had to trash the food. Not to mention my garlic knots were hard and not fresh. I dont understand for the life of me if I ordered right at opening how my food came out this bad. I'm a very understanding person so i need to know why my food was like this? I should have stuck to the shrimp alfredo. I just thought I would try something different. I hope management can fix this experience that I had.The food here is not cheap and I don't mind paying alot but at least let my food be worth it! read more

First time here and last time. Food was bland and flavorless had better pizza out of the frozen food section at the store. The owners yelled a lot. Only thing redeeming is the free bread. read more

Best service we have had at a restaurant in a really long time! Everything is fresh and oh so tasty. We have been here a few times and I have yet to be disappointed. Last time I got the Capellini Primavera with Chicken. The veggies (spinach, zucchini) were so fresh and yummy, the sauce garlicy and light. I wanted to take left overs home for lunch the next day...but I ate it all. The hubs got the Cresfollini which he loved as he is a Cheese-aholic. I can't wait to visit again and try the Pizza, or order take out! read more

Best Pizza in the Spring/Klein area. Kind staff. Excellent service. Super impressed with this place. No one in the area has better Pizza.

Had the seafood soup. Very good. I thought the portion would be bigger, not that you can't make a meal out of it, but I think if you have a big appetite, order the seafood pasta. My 3 yr old had the kid's pizza and it was very large. Overall very good food and great service! read more
