Zane was our server and he and the rest of the staff were incredibly attentive without being intrusive the food is truly some of the best Italian food we have ever had. This was a late night Yelp find, and it exceeded expectations. Especially because of the late hour, we were a little iffy about trying a new place. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The garlic knots are fresh, and pretty yummy. We got the mozzarella fritti as an appetizer and loved it. Pretty sure the mozzarella is hand cut and fried here, as well as the marinara being freshly made. We ordered the lasagna and chicken parm. Both were incredible. I was a little iffy on having a side of fettuccine alfredo with my chicken parm. I'm used to the side being spaghetti/pasta with a tomato sauce. I was SO wrong though. The fettuccine alfredo made the whole dish pop. Their alfredo sauce is really a delight. Husband's lasagna was also pretty great. Again, for the late hour especially, the food was top notch. I just moved right up the road and YELPED a good Italian place close by. Italian Cafe popped up with pretty good reviews so I went with a friend of mine tonight. IT WAS GREAT!!! The hot fresh garlic rolls were brought out first. We asked for some marinara sauce to dip them in and the waiter kindly brought it with a smile. I ordered the smallest size margarita pizza. It came out all melting and fresh!! It was HUGE for a small !! I could only eat half. I can't imagine what the large size looks like. Italian Cafe is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The restaurant itself creates a warm, welcoming environment with its low-set lightning, the inviting staff, and the small setting. You can taste the authenticity as you eat the food, I would recommend the chicken alfredo or any of their pizzas. The alfredo has such flavor and the sauce has a nice consistency while on the other hand, the pizzas are like mall pizza, huge, a medium pizza could feed 3. Food nirvana!!!! This place is heaven. It is small and cozy. They have a live person playing peaceful music. They bring out freshly baked garlic knots that are delicious. I had a spicy Italian sausage dish. The pasta was perfect..the sauce was spicy but good. Eccellente! Wonderful little strip mall Italian Cafe. We had a delightful experience. It is nicely adorned, Sinatra playing in the back ground. The food was SUPERB! It was so fresh and homemade tasting. Garlic knots, made with pizza dough and cooked as bread, are very good. The bad: pretty much all the food. Sack-salad, bottled dressing. Definitely not made in the restaurant. Marinara direct from Sysco, as were the heavy and dense meatballs (well, maybe they came from the Mortons salt company. Seriously over salted.). Goopy lasagna, also over salted. So, 48 bucks - no alcohol - for some decent pieces of bread and nice conversations with staff. No thanks. It was our second time here and we were happy. My son and I shared an order of cheese ravioli. It was so yummy. We really enjoyed it. Each ravioli was so big and very cheesy. We had more than enough to share. It came with a side of salad. I thought the portion was perfect and I liked the dressing. The dinner rolls were just ok. My son also got a kids cheese pizza. The pizza was a good size. He said it was good but he liked the ravioli better so we brought the pizza home. Great little Italian restaurant. Food tasted great and fresh. Came here with the family, all of us, after refusing the 90 minute wait at another restaurant. Called ahead and had a table waiting for us, even though they don't take reservations. From the outside, it is very unassuming. Who knew a great little Italian place was in that little strip mall store front? Staff were quite helpful and friendly. Place was nice with a classy atmosphere. It started to get crowded, so it's popular with many. The food was fantastic. The pizza, the lasagne, the chicken, the appetizers. The fettuccine Alfredo & fried cheese were amazing! The service was also quick and friendly. I thought it was cool being able to see back into the kitchen to watch the staff cook. The bread they served wasn't very good, and the salad is cut up so small to where I would need a spoon to eat it. It was small like taco lettuce. And the Italian dressing on it was very sour. Just had a great pizza here. "Italianesca pizza" or something like that. Perfectly cooked, with a slight crisp to the bottom. You can tell they use the real deal mozzarella here. Definitely order some olive oil with your bread knots.. Makes'em great. Meatballs in the spaghetti or dense but had a great flavor. I've only ever ordered pizza from here and will only order pizza from here. Most of the time it's perfect, a couple of times there wasn't enough sauce or it wasn't cooked enough.
