    Cream ramen
    Sunny C.

There were plenty of street parking and it was pretty easy to find their sign for their entrance. When we entered, we were surprised to find that we were the only ones there and the waiter/owner was with a friend. A bit unfortunate since it was during a Saturday lunch rush? We ordered the mala and cream ramen. The mala ramen was pretty good with a big chunk of meat. The spice level wasn't too bad but still a nice kick. The cream ramen was very underwhelming. It had no seasoning at all-- the mentaiko did not help. It was also very soupy instead of a creamy texture. Overall, we left disappointed as it was hyped on social media. However, the waiter/owner seemed like he was trying and was very nice.

    Cheese tonkatsu set

Restaurant with a great atmosphere in a busy neighborhood. Great menu with a good variety. I was debating between the ramen and the cheese tonkatsu set ($23), but I finalized on the latter. No regrets there. The tonkatsu was sooo cheesy, and I liked the little plate of macaroni salad. It was a lot of food for me, but thankfully I was able to give a lot of it away to the people I was with. Everyone liked their food. I wouldn't mind paying toll to come back here again.

I got black garlic tonkatsu ramen. Pretty good. The chashu is very flavorful. Service is great. It's a small place. So if you are going as a big group, better make a reservation.

IT Show offers a wide range of Japanese eats including ramen, tendon, katsu, and soba. We ordered their karaage tower don, vegetable tendon, cheese tonkatsu, and tonkotsu ramen. All the fried dishes were perfect. Their karaage don was indeed a tower over a bed of rice. For the ramen- while the broth didn't taste spicy to the tongue, we were surprised that the spice hit directly at our throats.

I had wanted to visit IT Show after seeing some social media posts and seeing the cheese tonkatsu and the epic cheese pull. Came on a weekday evening for dinner and had made a reservation earlier that day. The restaurant is fairly small with a few tables. They were not too busy that evening. We started with the pork bao buns and of course the cheese tonkatsu. The pork buns came out first. The pork was super tender and the bun was soft and tasted sooo good! The cheese tonkatsu came after and omg the cheese pull was awesome! It was a pork cutlet with mozzarella. It was served with 2 kinds of dipping sauces. Our entrees came after, I had gotten the mentaiko cream ramen and my sister got the salmon tendon. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back again...especially for the cheese tonkatsu!

This is our second visit to IT Show. We started this visit with the Cucumber Salad and were not impressed. Pretty flavorless. A smidge of vinegar would have helped so we asked for some. The waitress forgot so we had to ask twice. That happened quite a bit even before the restaurant got busy the service wasn't very good. Maybe she was new because the service our first time was very good. Next up was so miso soup which was presented with no spoons. She didn't come back so we had to ask for that too. The flavor was delicious. So savory and good but no tofu or seaweed. Just some onions. Maybe I've just eaten too much sushi take out. My dining companion was not impressed. I've never been a fan of tempura. Normally, it's pretty tasteless but I'll eat an IT Show tendon bowl any day of the week. Salmon is deliciously fatty and flavorful. It comes in a medium sized bowl and is propped up by a small dish. The tendon on the back is crispy and then chewy. Always freshly fried and doesn't feel greasy. I even eat the tempura broccoli and pumpkin. Never thought they'd taste good. Tsukemono was delish but it wasn't a big selection. I took a bite of the shishito pepper but that's the only thing I left in the bowl. It was just kind of meh. No big loss though. The unpleasant pieces: You are supposed to get an egg in the bowl - that was missing. My friend asked for a 2nd piece of pumpkin - we never saw that either. The waitress seemed annoyed we bothered to ask again. The black seaweed salad and yuzu tomato she was supposed to get never made an appearance. If they are no longer served the menus need to be updated. I'll absolutely come back and just hope for the best with the service.

I tried the ramen the first time I came and I love that there's many options! But with my second time, I wanted to try the tendon - I thought the fried boiled egg and rice combination was the perfectly sweet & savory and the various vegetable tempura were delicious, especially the eggplant. Each piece of cheese tonkatsu is filled to the brim with cheese - perfect for that cheese pull shot.

Onsen Tamago Buta Soborodon, Mentaiko Cream Ramen, and Signature Tonkotsu Ramen

The manager stated the name of their restaurant came from the word "together" in Japanese, and the pronunciation sounds like "ITSHOW." Their restaurant, Itshow specializes in Tendon and Ramen so we ordered their signature dishes among other delights. Here is how we ranked them: - Signature ITShow Tendon 4/5 - Salmon Tendon 4/5 - Signature Tonkotsu Ramen 4/5 - Braised Pork Belly with Karashi which is Japanese mustard 5/5 - Onsen Tamago Buta Soborodon 5/5 - Cheese Tonkatsu set 4/5 - Mentaiko Cream Ramen is 5/5 Let's discuss the ramen first. After being served our bowls of ramen, we first smell the aroma, followed by the tasting of the broth. Is the broth creamy, buttery, intense, and rich? Yes to all. No extra seasoning is necessary which is how it should be. Now we taste the noodles for the QQ test. Bouncy and delicious! Onto the rib. Is it tender or tough? This time around we found the pork to be a tad underdone. Had they just taken their time and cooked it a tad longer, it would have been more tender. Another time we came here, the pork belly and the baby back rib were cooked to perfection. Their Mentaiko Cream Ramen was decadent. The staff asked if we wanted extra cheese for the ramen. Yes, please. The broth was extraordinarily creamy, had great umami flavor, and was delectable! Their other signature dish was the tendon. Tendon is delicately fried tempura on top of marinated rice. They also adorn a fried burdock lattice along with lightly battered vegetable tempura. It was not greasy at all. The Signature Tendon included fish, shrimps, a soft-yolked egg, and various vegetables. The salmon tendon had Zuke-salmon and the fish was sliced in generous portions. The Onsen Tamago Buta Soborodon was one of the best dishes. It is ground pork over rice with a soft-boiled egg. While it may not sound like much, it was truly savory and truly satisfying. The ambiance is very nice and clean. The staff offered the first bottled water free for each person. If you check in with Yelp, you are entitled to a free soda.

Came here for lunch during the weekday. There was only 1 other table. Business was slow because it seemed that no one knew about it. Can't even tell with the tiny door and sign outside. Tendon was great. My coworker had ramen but said it was a bit greesy and salty. I will have to try it out myself to give it a fair review... but I do recommend the tendon!

Great restaurant in New Jersey. They open until 12AM, so its a good place for late night to go spot. Service was great (they give you bottle of water instead of tap water). Food quality was also great. - Mentaiko Cream Ramen (5/5): you can choose spicy level. - Cheese Tonkatsu Set (5/5): very unique style & comes with curry and miso. - Hiyashi Tofu (5/5): very soft tofu with perfect amount of sweet soy sauce.

This place lived up to the hype! Came here to try a bunch of menu items and left stuffed. Authentic made to order menu will give you bang for your buck! The problem is you have to come starving, because the menu has a lot to offer. I was a bit indecisive and went with my gut. My gut thanked me afterwards, and I left feeling 7 months pregnant... okay, 7.5 months pregnant lol. Pleasant staff that were not pushy, and helped with my choices. Every item came out tasty. I couldn't stop picking and shoving... down my throat. I did not try their Ramen even though they had that on the menu. I had no more room for my gut.

I love this place for leaving my belly satisfied each time. I don't feel overly stuffed leaving here with their perfectly light crispy tempura. The ramen is perfectly well done and the meat was sweet and tender. It's a small and intimate setting. Their bottled water is of no charge. Hospitality is great and attentive.

I ordered the Unagi Don Gozen ($42)- it came with a whole tray of different delicious items, with the star of the show being a generous amount of unagi (eel) over rice. The eel was cooked very well and the rice was flavorful with a bit of sweetness. There was also a small bowl of udon noodles, some sashimi, a crispy tempura shrimp in a yummy creamy sauce, flavorful edamame, mashed potato with corn, and some pickled veggies - quite the diverse array, all of which was tasty. The restaurant itself has a rather simple yet elegant Japanese wooden design. The prices suggest it's a more high end place, but the vibe is actually rather casual. The staff are very attentive and the service speed is pretty quick. Overall, I would definitely give Moru 4.5 stars if I could. I think it's great for most types of occasions, and the only reasons it's not getting 5 stars is because I do think the prices are a tad higher than I would've hoped and I think they could've done a bit more in terms of designing the place to match the price point. That being said, I still highly recommend Moru, especially for a nice lunch.

Herbal chicken soup - fantastic (10 stars as a soup lover it was delicious and hearty) General Tso's - more on the sweet than spicy side which is my preference but may not be everyone's (very crispy and good in my opinion if you value texture over spice it was great -4/5 stars) Beef with scallion - my fam loves scallions so it was absolutely delish, and I tried some and thought so too! The ambiance was very nice - though I think my party was unfortunately a bit more boisterous than the rest of the people around, it's family friendly so any one of all ages can come and enjoy something. Saw plenty of parents with strollers, elderly people, and everyone in between like my group. It's pretty good vibes. Big portions, great food, good people, good vibes!
