I'd been following Tenmomi on Instagram for a while so when my brother said he was going to try it I was intrigued. I dragged my girlfriend along and we set off to get some ramen. Unfortunately the pork broth was out for the day so the only options were chicken or sinigang. I got the sinigang. We also got some lumpia and some wings. As a Filipino-American I grew up on sinigang but never thought of having it as ramen. The sour/tamarind flavor is definitely there but it's subtle. I don't regret trying it, but it's not for me. I love sinigang and I love ramen but I'm not a fan of mixing the two. The pork served in the bowl was really tender and flavorful, the egg was cooked perfectly as were the vegetables. The noodles were ok. The price is very fair and I like that they offer different levels according to what you want in the ramen and the price changes accordingly. I feel like a lot of places would just charge the same price for a bowl of ramen even if you choose to omit some items. The lumpia was standard lumpia served with some sweet chili sauce. That's not to say they're bad at all, I just am never really a fan of ordering lumpia when I eat out. I'll just wait for the next family party haha. My girlfriend really wanted it though so we got some. The wings were my favorite part of the meal. The miso lemon pepper sauce was fantastic. The tart miso/lemon paired very well with the creaminess of the sauce and the wings were large and fried well. I'd come back to try the Tonkotsu ramen but I'll pass on the sinigang. They do offer other foods and I'd like to try those.

Tenmomi is a new ramen spot located in the basement of the Williams Center. They were a pop up shop, formerly located in Nutley and Westwood. The Williams Center itself is pretty hipster and cool. The basement has an arcade section near the seating area for Tenmomi. We ordered at the register, they gave us a buzzer, and we grabbed a table. We ordered the sinigang ramen (college style, noodles only), spicy miso ramen all the way, Tokyo shoyu ramen all the way, miso lemon pepper wings, and fries. I like that you can get a super cheap bowl college style with only noodles. The sinigang ramen was interesting. It wasn't exactly sinigang broth, more like a normal ramen broth with a little bit of singang broth added. The spicy miso had a little bit of spice, but they were out of pork broth for the day, so I had to get the chicken broth as a base. I got to try the soft boiled eggs, veggies, pork, and chicken for toppings. My favorite was the chicken, which was well marinated and slightly sweet. They used straight ramen noodles in all of the broths. It was OK, but i prefer wavy ramen noodles. I preferred the wings and fries to the ramen. The miso lemon pepper was tart, salty, and creamy. The wings were huge and whole, with the drum, flat, and wing tips. The fries were cut shoestring and were very crispy. If I go back, i would definitely try the smash burger with fries over the ramen.

Congratulations on the new home. If you are looking for great food and cool vibes , this is the spot. Everything is homemade , fresh, and delicious. Ramen broth (all of them) are always filled with flavor, his chicken sando is fried perfectly, and the lumpia are crispy and tender. The lemon pepper wings are juicy, covered in a creamy lemon sauce with a hint of pepper. His dumplings are also amazing. If you are looking for a fusion of Asian flavors , this is it.

Chicken and Tonkotsu ramen - delicious!

I really wanted to like this but I didn't. Ramen was bland. Egg rolls were not the best. The dumplings were okay

The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the soup was amazing! They need their own shop.

Delicious! I tried the black garlic ramen. Warmed me right up on this chilly day. Will definitely be trying the other options soon!

They have an extensive menu with sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, noodles, soup, salads, fusion appetizers, etc. They even have some Korean items like bulgogi, sundubu, and bibimbap. Prices are reasonable. I called and placed a take-out order near closing time. The employee was accommodating, pleasant, and told me my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I drove over and was able to find street parking easily. The interior is casual and spacious, but a little dreary and outdated. They have exposed brick walls, wood tables, and hanging light fixtures. My food was prepared on time. I ordered: *Salmon Lover - 4 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of sashimi, 6 piece roll ($20.50) *Tuna Lover - 4 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of sashimi, 6 piece roll ($20.50) The salmon and tuna were fresh in taste, texture, and smell. Vibrant colors, firm and smooth textures, and delicate flavors! The sushi rolls had the right fish to rice ratio. The rice could've been more seasoned. The miso soup was warm, savory, and comforting. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but it did the job of satisfying my cravings. I would return to try their special rolls!

A few of us had been talking about trying it for a while, and it totally lived up to the hype. The vibe inside was welcoming and comfortable, and the whole hot pot experience made lunch feel like something fun and different instead of just a quick meal. We picked a broth and then ordered a bunch of meats, vegetables, and noodles to share. Everything tasted really fresh, and the broth was full of flavor from the start and got even better as we kept cooking. It's the kind of place where you end up trying a little bit of everything, and it's perfect for a group because everyone can customize their own bites. We also appreciated that it didn't feel rushed, even though it was lunchtime. Service was great too. The staff was friendly, checked on us often enough without hovering, and helped explain options for anyone who hadn't done hot pot before. That made a big difference, especially with a bigger group. By the time we finished, we were already talking about coming back. I definitely plan to return soon with my family, and I can also see myself bringing a few colleagues here as well. It's a great spot for catching up, doing a casual group lunch, or just getting a really satisfying meal.
