The service was instantly friendly, inviting and knowledgeable about their beer selection. I tried several and all were really good. I am from Texas, and am a bit picky over BBQ, especially Brisket. Y'all there's nothing worse than a dry piece of smoked brisket... just sayin'. Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it.
