I'm not rating them based off their work but $175 to unlock a door (10 min away) is a complete rip off... I found the sweetest man to come unlock it and he arrived in 10 minutes and only charged $85. My car key broke this past Saturday and I couldn't get into my car let alone drive it. I needed someone to come out to Ewa Beach to help me and make a new key. I called a few places and this place was the only one available to come to me on a Saturday. The original estimated time was within the hour, but it took almost 2 hours to get to me. No worries, I understand it's a weekend. Once he got there, he broke down the prices for me and got the job done in about 30 minutes and even gave me a spare key for free so I could at least open the door in case this happens again. Since I have an older vehicle (2010 Hyundai) it took a few tries for things to sync up (I have no idea how it works) but once it did - boom - my replacement fob was programmed. I tried to switch out the lock myself after my kid lost her house keys, but after purchasing a DIY kit from Home Depot, I discovered the latch was longer than the one that comes in the standard DIY kit. Went to Lowe's and JBL and still could not find a latch that was the right size. Feeling defeated, I contacted the office in my building and they referred me to Isle Locksmith. Called them and someone picked up after 2 rings. I explained my situation and told them a longer latch would be needed. They asked me to text them pictures of the door. 5 minutes later they called me with an estimate, which was pricey but fair for what I was trying to do. Technician Danny was at my door 30 minutes later, and changed the lock in about 10 minutes. Mind you, this was "after hours" (6pm) on a Thursday. Other locksmiths charge BS "after hours fees" so I was glad Isle does not. They are available until 10:00pm. They also offer a 10% discount for first time customers, which the nice lady on the phone, Jill, kindly mentioned to me. Could not recommended this place more!! After years of surfing with a designated "surf key", I forgot to take my electronic car keys out of my pocket and went to go surf. 15 cutbacks and 1 noseride later, i came back to my car and found it wouldnt start because the electric key was fried. I tried calling the different locksmiths on yelp and Isle Locksmith were the only ones available. It took only a little over an hour from the initial phone call to getting a new key programmed and getting me driving again. Highly recommended! read more

Shai, you are a godsend and in hindsight I wished I called you first when I locked myself out of my home. Unfortunately, I used another company and am now horrified at what transpired. What you explained should have been a simple cylinder replacement turned into a totally unnecessary lock replacement not to mention the damage to the door. What struck me was you kept apologizing for the experience I had although you did not cause the situation. This spoke to me as it shows your integrity, honesty, professionalism and work ethic. After being told they'd call me back later to schedule after a job in progress and not hearing a word, I called Isle Locksmith. They sent me Danny who was a rockstar locksmith. He noticed I had purchased a defective lock and allowed me time to run to the hardware store, exchange it and return. He had a lockout call in the area and kept me posted regarding his return time. There's something unnerving about having a stranger handle locks to your home, particularly in an emergency scenario. But Alex was super nice, diligent, and clearly trustworthy. We had previously used Isle Locksmith a year or two ago when the doorknob fell off from the inside of the front door of our condominium. In fact my girlfriend gave Danny at Isle Locksmith a glowing 5 Star rating at that time. Well, the same doorknob fell off again. We called Isle Locksmith and the owner Shai Rosen was at our door within 30 minutes. GREAT!!! And it went rapidly downhill from there. In much less than a minute Shai asks if parts are missing. Then he maintains that the lock was old and parts are worn out. And of course with missing and worn out parts he suggested that we need to replace the old lock with a new one. Over the next 20 minutes or so Shai Rosen keeps repeating these themes before finally saying that he couldn't do anything for us. He was never abrasive and in fact he was always pleasant and helpful sounding. He barely put the lock back on the door - the retractable lock did not work, the doorknobs stuck out from the outside and inside of the door and the lock mechanism was loose and not attached. He stressed repeatedly that it was the best that he could do for us. And he gave me his card, collected his money and left. In this interaction with me Shai Rosen of Isle Locksmith seemed to only be interested in selling and installing a new lock. He was not interested in properly fixing our existing lock. WE CALLED ANOTHER LOCKSMITH. THE OTHER LOCKSMITH PROPERLY PUT OUR LOCK BACK TOGETHER IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES WITH NO COMPLAINTS OF MISSING OR WORN PARTS. The best that I can say about Shai Rosen / Isle Locksmith is that he was quick to get here and that he was pleasant. read more
