He unlocked my door in less than 5 minutes and then I asked for him to make me a spare key to start the car in case this EVER happened again. He made me an extra key AND a surf key at no extra cost! He has an entire key grinder in his car which is powered by his car and so he made my key right there! Always hide a spare. I was very fortunate it was a lovely night when I returned home to find my guest locked a "rusted" lock I had not replaced yet ( and lost keys for ) and specifically tell people to NOT lock. Major savior!!! I had gone out to dinner snd when I came home my dead bolt broke do I was unable to enter my apartment. I called Isle Locksmith and I was promised a response within one half hour. (This was at 8:30 pm) Danny showed up within half an hour and began to work on my lock. He gave me a very reasonable quote to fix the lock. But the challenge began.... The lock was 30 years old...and nothing Danny did would release the dead bolt from the locked position. In the end he had to replace the total mechanism rather than working the lock itself. I was in an emergent situation and needed to open a house ASAP! I called a few locksmith that either didn't answer or was going to have someone call if available. I finally called Isle Locksmith and the lady that answered the phone was so helpful and pleasant. I had to hang up as she was looking for tech due to an emergency call and she tried calling me back. First off, if you're thinking of going with them, read all the negative reviews. You will notice common themes throughout. Secondly, if you're still thinking about going with them, get them to clearly state, up front, ALL the charges AND what each one actually includes. Seeing all the high ratings they received i thought i would try them. Fortunately the pricing got ridiculous fast, which was fortunate because it let me cancel in time. Having read the negative reviews i made it a point to ask them exactly what the costs were. They spent several minutes speaking really quickly in an obvious attempt to try and distract me and evade answering, but i kept coming back to my question. If they do this to you recommend you just move on. Here's breakdown i was finally able to get: Just to drive out $40 Labor $149-$189 (they made it sound, without actually saying so, that this was all inclusive, which would be reasonable, but it wasnt) Drilling a single hole $160-$200 (a separate charge from "labor" for some reason) Installing a lock $160-$180 (also a separate charge from everything else) If i wanted them to provide a lock, they said theirs ran from $300-$600 I specifically asked if the "labor" "drilling" and "installation" shouldn't all be one and the same and was clearly told they were separate charges. So, upwards of $429 just to put in a lock. Pushed up to almost $1000 if they provided the lock. Needless to say, i passed I could have a door custom-made for that price. read more

I tried to replace a part of my lock and when I was trying it out, my key got stuck. I removed the lock and proceeded to take it apart and not knowing the proper method, all of the pins and springs came out. There is no way to get them back in. I called Isle Locksmith and Shai came over. He tried to get everything back together so I would not have to buy a new lock. In the end he was able to replace the cylinder and re-key it to match my key. If I had just called him in the beginning, I would have saved money.
