No host came by to take orders, offer water, checked on us if we needed anything. Therefore, we don't wait around and ordered with the bar. The bartender was quick, we ordered a bunch of food and servers were quick. No complaints there! Just amazing that no one wanted to wait on a guarantee money making hungry and thirsty bunch of people that already had a reservation to their establishment. That is poor management, but hey, you still got our money! Our other stops were the best experience and we'll note to self next time chose the brewery for their customer service team

AMAZING TOUR!!! My family and I were visiting O'ahu the first week of July and so I booked the…read moreHoneymoon/Romantic Tour for July 6th. We were more interested in seeing the southeastern parts of the island, so it worked out perfectly. We arrived on July 4th in the late afternoon and learned that there were some unforeseen changes to our planned excursion the next day (July 5th), so (on a whim) I left an email around 7:30-8pm asking if we could switch our tour from the 6th to the 5th (keeping my fingers crossed). I wasn't expecting for a change in our tour date to be permitted - especially given the short notice, but the next morning around 8:30am I received a call saying that changing our tour date was no issue and our tour guide/driver (Eva) would be there to pick us up from our hotel in Waikiki Beach right near Diamond Head at 10am. We were thrilled!!!! Eva arrived promptly at 10am and greeted us with seashell necklaces and we began our tour going past the zoo, and began at Diamond Head then to stops at Waimanalo Beach, Makapu'u Lookout, Halona Blowhole-Eternity Beach, Lanai Lookout, Hanauma Bay Reserve/Lookout (the guards let us in to use the bathrooms and take pictures), Hawaii Kai Lookout, Sandy Beach (my fav with an awesome food truck that has delicious smoothies), Punchbowl Crater, downtown Honolulu, Iolani Palace and more!!! She was gracious enough to drop us off at the Royal Hawaiian Center, so we could go shopping and eat. We couldn't have asked for a better host! She was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! She took us to every site that we wanted, allowed us to take pictures without rushing and even offered to take a million pictures/videos of our family without hesitation. Most importantly, when my elderly diabetic father was feeling a little dizzy, she was quick to offer up snacks to help him raise his sugar levels. She's just phenomenal and we will never forget her genuine kind spirit. The tour itself and her hospitable energy is one of the top highlights from our entire Hawaiian vacation (including our stays in the North Shore of O'ahu and Maui). If and when we return, we plan to look her up and hope to connect again! We love Eva and Spiritual Tours!!! Thanks again!!

Think of the price as short money for being driven from Waikiki to and around many of the top north shore highlights, with some enjoyable local legends, history, and trivia shared along the way. However, the Kokololio Beach Park stop alone was a key highlight, and a true gem. Jake was our guide for the day and made sure all questions were answered and needs met - he also did a great job corralling everyone with a conch shell call, keeping our group together and on time. The Surf Bus is a fantastic tour company for the island of O'ahu. They work with locally owned…read morebusinesses on the North Shore, and our guide was very knowledgeable of the island. Our group was small, and the bus picks you up right in Waikiki, and have multiple locations you can be picked up from. We excitedly chose snorkeling and kayaking for our two excursions, but they also offer to take you to Waimea Falls (short walk and swimming) and/or paddleboarding. If snorkeling, equipment rental is free, but you are charged extra for lifejackets and lockers (if needed); lifejackets are a must if you go into the small bay. We did, however, see turtles and plenty of colorful fish and coral; kayaking also allowed us to see turtles, and we loved every moment of it. Since our kayaking and the paddleboarding are on the North Shore, there was some time to walk around, so we stopped for some popular shave ice before heading back on the bus.

We waited at the identified hotel, and the bus arrived on time. From when Uncle Kevin greeted us as we got on the bus to when we left, I never saw someone smile so much. Uncle Kevin was as pleasant as the scenery passing us on the bus and what we saw on our island tour. Additionally, his directions were as clear as the skies and water we saw.  If you want a nice day away from the Waikiki hustle and bustle, the Surf Bus should be your choice.
