    Date Night

Had a great evening; date night with my husband. Whether you're visiting Hawaii or live here on Oahu. This was a great experience to see our island from a different view. It was a great experience to be surrounded by great people who loved Hawaii. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. The Chef made an appearance and shared the menu - The fireworks of course was spectacular. Great Food, Great Service & Beautiful Views, highly recommended.

Where do i start. First off would like to say Mahaaaaalo so much for having me and my entire crew from southwest airlines. It was such a blessing. We had such a great time. The food was on point thanks to chef cater. The service was AMAZING. Shout out to my girls Ally, Lily and Alex. Yall rocked and killed it. Please keep that vibe and energy always. Yall bring ao much light and radiant energy. Big shout out to captain Phil for such great hospitality and for inviting us.

We were a group of 6 and had a fabulous time. The dock is well marked and has benches to sit on should you arrive early. Check in was easy and they take a picture with the boat as the background as you board. Def try to sit on the right side of the boat so that you get the sunset as you cruise out and a great night view as you cruise back. Food was great and service was wonderful. Def would do this again!

If you get the opportunity to cruise with these folks DO IT!!! The absolute best food and music and the vibes are so fun. The crew will take amazing care of you. Do not forget to BYOB they will whip up the best cocktails for you and I promise you the food is out of this world!!! I loved every minute! Bring your friends and have the best night ever! Can't wait to come back soon

In Hawaii on vacation and our travel agent suggested this company for a sunset cruise! This was a very nice cruise to Diamond Head parallel to the Waikiki Shoreline. Check-in and dinner selections occurred seamlessly. Once ready to go, the captain taught us about Waikiki beach & the history of the area --- all the while, the on-board chef was preparing everyone's dinners. It was a BYOB cruise and NO alcohol provided. The entrees seemed to take a little longer than what was expected -- however, there was just one chef in the galley! They were definitely well prepared and tasted delicious! The crew was definitely on top of things and took VERY good care of all the cruise guests. The captain even pointed out various types of sea-life as we cruised toward Diamond Head. The sunset made for beautiful pictures! The music was a nice touch, too! MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Don't go if you get seasick lol especially since the ride is slow so you feel everything. I did take Dramamine but ended up so drowsy lol my mom had to take her food to go because she just could not handle it she was super seasick. A few others were running to the bathroom due to being seasick. I can see this being super enjoyable, If you do not get seasick. The wait for dinner took longer than I expected, from leaving the port it wasnt until 1 hour and half until we got our dinner. Some get there's first depending on if you chose fish or steak. The staff was nice and chef was too the food I'd rate 5 out of 10 . The views were also amazing. The captain was trying to do some stand up comedy I think, which didn't land at our group lol either way he got us there and back safe so can't complain. I loved the photos they took of my mom and I before we got on the boat, they were only $20.

nice iconic photo with diamond head

My husband, Mom, & I had an amazing experience with Prince Kuhio's dinner sunset cruise. Stunning views of diamond head & sunset!!!!! Would love to send my compliments to the chef! The fish of the night was mahi mahi. He prepared it very well & the meal was absolutely delicious. The captain was positive and enthusiastic, which was appreciated. Most notably, the crew, Avi, Luna, & Ian, was amazing, they were quick to action, they loved taking photos for ALL on the boat, and they were extremely kind, helpful, & friendly. We truly enjoyed our experience & I recommend this cruise for all! Perfect for date nights, for a family excursion, or a lil solo night. 5/5 would go again!

Great experience. Magnificent staff that worked to make our experience unforgettable. Delicious food, & gorgeous scenery. Cater alongside other chef Matt prepared a meal worth having even on shore while visiting Ohau. BYOB was nice because we were able to have what we wanted to drink. Captain was witty and clever. Lily, Ally & Avi were an awesome crew and worked as a kind and caring team to take care of all the guests.

I travel to Hawaii a lot and this was one of the most fun experiences in Waikiki. The boat and the staff were outstanding. The crew really made the cruise a lot of fun! I believe this is one of the only ships that travels with an onboard chef and the food was absolutely exceptional! I have never had fish that fresh and the people in our group that had the short rib also said it was exceptional. I have also seen the sunset many times from the beach, but this is the first time from a boat and it was an entirely new experience not to be missed. The views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water or also unbelievable. I'll include a few pictures so you can see it. I'm also looking forward to booking the breakfast cruise and whale watching because I've also heard great things about those as well from my friends that have done it.

    Here she is!

We had an amazing experience on this Friday night sunset dinner cruise with fireworks!! From the moment we boarded the Prince Kuhio, our service and the staff were exceptional! The captain greeted everyone and his crew went over the top to ensure a memorable experience!! It was a perfect Waikiki evening to cruise the waters and see the beautiful scenery! Our dinner salads, short ribs, and ahi dinners were prepared perfectly and the dessert was a nice treat. To cap the evening cruise off, anchoring in front of the fireworks display made for the perfect evening!! Thanks to the entire crew - you were amazing!! We definitely recommend this company and cruise for the best Hawaii experience!!

We had an amazing experience on this tour. The staff were very attentive and extremely sweet and helpful! Alex took amazing pictures of my family and I! The food was great and the views were amazing. We got front row seats for the fireworks and beautiful sunset. I definitely recommend this for couples and families with children.

For the price of admission, I'd definitely recommend looking and going elsewhere. The boat/food advertised isn't exactly as shown in pictures and the seating upstairs is so uncomfortable (that's were you'll be majority of the cruise). We set off towards Diamond Head and was served a bowl of very warm lettuce with rock-hard croutons. We sat and waited for awhile until they realized they hadn't given anyone utensils. After the salad we sat and waited for atleast an hour or so. We sat there thinking perhaps we were going downstairs to eat but then we started to see the hostess walk towards the bar in front with used plates. Little did we know, the people in back of us had already been served, eaten and was already being served dessert. When the hostess saw us looking extremely confused she explained that they serve from back to front so we'd be getting our food soon. Soon was more like another 20 mins later. There were 4 in our party and we were brought 3 plates initially. My Dad patiently waited but atleast another 8 mins as we all sat and waited, not wanting to start without him. Finally his food came and the hostess joked around saying that she was sorry but "#91 usually eats last" referring to him as being the last pasenger. Not only was he served last but it was also like an after thought... he had a different smaller plate and his portion was significantly small than the others. After that situation we were pretty much over the cruise and when tey came by and offered us a slice of warm cheesecake we declined. They really need to work on their entire process so that it's more efficient and all customer's leave feeling valued and happy with the services received for the price paid. If they need more servers for such a big crowd then they need to do that. Our experience on the cruise was unexceptable given the cost we ALL paid for an experience that sadly doesn't look at all like it's advertised.

It was quite confusing to find the meetup point at the beginning, but asking the hotel staff did help us getting there. We went on the high-tide day so needed to walk a bit from the usual boarding area. Probably helpful to remind people wearing slippers as you'd need to take shoes off. They did provide proper and plenty storage spaces for your footwear on the boat (appreciated!). Drinks were pretty much bottomless and they had their very own Mai Tai so you could really enjoy the 'complete Hawaiian package'! The only problem with high tide day, it meant be prepped to get wet and going on and off the boat would be quite tricky as you needed to manage timing to avoid the tide from getting you soaking wet. I was unfortunately not the pro and literally got half-bottom wet, getting off the boat LOL. Paid off by the gorgeous sunset view!!

My partner loves turtles, which is why we were so eager to find a memorable experience during our next trip. We found the Living Ocean Tours Turtle Canyon experience through Viator and paid about $80/person which we felt was incredibly reasonable. We saw prior reviews stating that the best time to go is early morning, so we decided to take the first boat out. This was honestly a pro tip as we were not only one of three small groups on the boat, but were also the first boat out to the canyon making the experience feel intimate and memorable! We met the amazing crew who were so knowledgable, friendly, and safety-savvy. The ride itself took about 15 minutes each way. Once we arrived, we felt totally confident swimming out with the provided snorkels, life jackets, and flippers after completing the safety lecture. The crew also emphasized protection of wildlife, instructing us to do our very best to stay 10 ft away or more from the turtles. At times, the turtles would come close to us without our knowledge, so we were also instructed on how to gently swim away when this occurred to maintain safe distance. We spent about an hour and a half total in the water, which was more than enough time to see loads of turtles. When it was time to return, we enjoyed complimentary snacks and drinks on the boat. Thank you Living Ocean Tours for providing us with the experience of a lifetime! We would recommend Living Ocean Tours to friends, family, or anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and immersive turtle viewing experience!

None of the other guides from other companies got off their boards, let alone free dove 40ft to try to get the reef shark to leave its rock so everyone could see it. Being the first boat out in the morning makes a huge difference. The ocean was calm, conditions were excellent, and we weren't surrounded by multiple tour boats. For long stretches it genuinely felt like we had the reef to ourselves. Sam and Ella were in-cred-ible. Professional, knowledgeable, and very clearly people who love what they do. They struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still letting everyone enjoy the experience naturally. We felt extremely safe the entire time, and they were just genuinely joyful humans to spend the morning with. And I have to mention the turtles. We saw at least eight. Not just in the distance-- they were everywhere. Below us in the reef, gliding past us at the surface, popping up for air unexpectedly. At one point we were actively looking around just to make sure we weren't about to bump into one. Also...calling them "little" would be inaccurate. Some of these turtles were big-- absolutely stunning animals. Swimming alongside them, surrounded by hundreds of reef fish, was one of those rare travel moments that sticks with you.
