I was kind of scared to store my dorm stuff here over the summer (3 months) because some of the other reviews talked about mold and whatever. The day I moved in my stuff, it was raining really hard so I was especially worried. Well, I'm glad to say that I just picked my stuff up and moved it out of storage a few hours ago. No mold or anything like that whatsoever. Keep in mind that I had stored things that got wet from the rain. Very satisfied with this place! Not too far from the center of San Francisco and is accessible through the Bay Bridge. From start to end, the staff were really helpful, patient, and polite. To access my small storage unit I had to call a worker over to open the larger unit, which are the shipping containers you see on the ships. In each metal shipping container are multiple smaller units depending on the size. Quite secure. The low prices is what I chose this place for! Not the prettiest or fanciest but it gets the job done without breaking the bank. They also returned the $45 to my card. I highly recommend this place and would consider this place again.

I have videos of the water dripping from the ceiling.

BEWARE! DON'T WALK... RUN!!!!! I lost everything that I owned. I was in the process of a move and put everything that I owned into storage... The storage container leaked from the back of the unit and black mold crept to the front. It happens all of the time. It happened to several people while I was there. I kept my damaged stuff there trying to get my insurance to cover part of it and even though it was a total loss, the owners bullied and threatened me. They kept taking out the rent and insurance from my bank account and said that if I stopped it that I wouldn't be able to have the items to show the insurance... that they would consider it abandoned and sell it off... It's not safe. It's scary. There are people living onsite and they have mean dogs. They are burners and are living in campers and using the units as home. There are drugs and violence. Many loud fights and the dogs going after people. The owners are the worst of the worst. The business name and who you can go after changes. They are super shifty and I cannot express to you how they stood over me and threatened me as I was in shock and crying. They kept sucking money from me and saw me crying over family heirlooms, pictures of my daughter and EVERYTHING that I owned. My insurance company quit counting at $300,000 because it just didn't matter anymore. I ended up only getting about $8,000 which was eaten up by the extra time I had to pay to store my molding items and the cost for hazmat to come out and assess it. I've seen it happen over and over and had people contact me about it over and over because it happened to them too.... I WILL UPDATE THIS EVERY YEAR!

Looking for a place that knowingly rents DAMAGED units, DESTROYS all of your stuff, and DOES NOTHING to make it right? Look no further. Despite multiple feedback from previous customer around water damages, they rented me a 10x20 with damaged roof that leaked water. Water and MOLD everywhere. The mold was so extensive I do not even know how to describe it. They also HIKED PRICES almost 50% Over the last 8 MONTHS, and have a pending law suit (mine) - RUN

Not sure where they get some of their photos with nice concrete, new units - they buy OLDER units and many of them sit on dirt

I am a two time customer of Island Park Storage. I was satisfied both times. The price was fair and the staff were very helpful.

Nice, accesible location, responsive. 8x10 was actually slightly larger and fit my 8 foot long shelving unit.

Overall pretty good. They are not a full Uhaul place but a partner. They simply rent out or drop off a bunch of Uhauls. Pretty easy to find!

Laid back, cool, and perfectly secure. Ask for Tomas, he will hook you up and is a great communicator.

The Treasure Island Mini Mart recently started providing U-Haul truck rental service and I assume I…read morewas either the first customer or one of the first customers they had in their new endeavor. I made my reservation for a truck online and the next day they called me to confirm I would be there at 5:00pm, not once, but twice. So, 4:45 rolls around and I get to Treasure Island, but I'm a little lost so I call the store to ask for directions (Google Maps on Treasure Island is HORRIBLE, NONE of the addresses are correct). The woman who answers is a little short with me because I keep asking her to clarify where the store is (she has a very thick accent that didn't help things). Lo and behold, at 4:59, I find the T.I. Mini Mart tucked away into some building, but I made it. I walk in, and the woman who I spoke with on the phone then informs me that she can not rent out the U-Haul trucks, and the man who can rent it out, isn't there. Umm... what? She calls the man who actually does the rentals and he is in SF, BUT he is on his way back to the island. For those of you who don't drive on the Bay Bridge at 5pm, it's basically a parking lot. So, I must sit and toil around thier lack-luster store for 40 minutes until this guy finally arrives. 5:40pm, he get there, apologizes and we start the rental paperwork. Except, rather than being able to quickly get me in and out after the interminble delay already, he doesn't appear to be very computer savvy and I wait AN HOUR as he fumbles through the screen prompts and coordinates over the telephone with someone who apparently knows what to do. I finally leave at 6:40pm (an hour and 40 minutes after my "appointment" they confirmed twice). This will definitely be the last time I use their U-haul service, and I will certainly never shop there (even though I live 3 minute walking distance away). The actual U-haul truck I got only had 300 miles on it and was very clean. They were very nice and apologetic and did allow me to keep the truck overnight for no extra charge, but the fact remains that I had to wait FOREVER. Next time I move I'll just use a place in the city (like the one off Market & Octavia) that is an actual U-Haul rental store and not just a Mini-Mart trying out a new endeavor.

Apparently Joe Shmoe can walk in, say your name, and say use the card on file. Their customer service in the event of this is abhorrent. I would avoid them at all cost!!
