I had originally brought my iPhone X in to have a battery replaced in February of 2021, A seamlessly shady man named "Auther" said It would be $75 to replace the battery. We had a deal, just a few days ago the same problem occurred, this time I was told that It was my charging port, and then my battery. After replacing my battery, I was met with an ERROR message on the phone which read "Battery needs service." I went back hours later to now be told my "Tri-Star" chip was not working, as well as my NEW battery (which lasted 2 hours), as well as my charging port. He then tried to get me to pay him to fix the broken glass on my phone and trade it in. WTF I took my phone to apple where they told me a PIN in the battery slot was bent from a "3rd Party battery," and It would cost $80 for the pin replacement and $100 for the battery. Auther you bent my battery pins which cost me $80 and sold me a POS battery. I am now out $255 because of you. Not only am I a journalist who will 100% make sure that this story goes to the news, but I will also be seeking legal action if I am NOT repaid for the damaged.
