I was impressed that I immediately booked another appointment for Valentine's Day for a few of my family and friends. There were five of us total (including my son), and they were able to accommodate all of us at the same time for pedicures, which was amazing and made it such a fun group experience. The first time I went there, I got pedicure and haircut+highlights done. It was great. The second time I went there for my Birthday the Lash lady was amazing. She took her time, she was polite, she was gentle, and she did a great job. She gave me the paperwork on the aftercare. She played piano music which was a nice touch. The lashes aren't heavy and they feel natural. I would come back for her service! However, the nail tech, who was a guy, wasn't very nice. He was distracted, paid attention to things around him. He constantly talked to others in his own language which was disrespectful. He didn't offer a drink, but I heard his co-worker offer a drink to another client. And it was my Birthday, I guess that was the reason it felt more discouraging. I felt rushed, and I was not given cherry blossom flower design that I wanted, but I it was still cute I guess. I went with my husband today to get a hair cut and was so impressed with the decor I decided to get a pedi. I usually go to a spot by the airport because I haven't found a place in this area that I like. If I could give this spot 10 stars I would. I got the jelly pedi. My feet feel amazing and the massage was wonderful. They have a huge selection of colors. The massage chairs are top notch. The prices were comparable to my normal place I go. I will be back. Nails didn't even last a full 5 days, I asked for colored acrylic overlay and they ended up having to put colored gel polish on top which was not what I asked for at all. I asked multiple times what colors were available in the acrylic. Cracked and chocked nails even had a nail pop off. I arrived yesterday at 10 am. There was a man there who was not a stylist, no other people there. A woman walked in who identified herself as a stylist but did not give me her name. I told her I wanted the cut to be an oval, long in the back and shoulder length in the front, . She repeated "oval" to me, it appeared that she understood. She ended up cutting front uneven, sides uneven by about an inch and the back shorter than the front, the exact opposite of what i had asked. While my hair was still all wet, she put up a mirror so i could see and said she was done. i said that i could not see what she had done while my hair was wet. She then scold me that she would need to wet it again if she dried it and i saw a need for change. When it was dried and i saw she had done the opposite of what i had asked and that it was uneven right and left- I realized i needed to get out of there, so I paid and left in a hurry. I put a review on Google. The owner asked me to call and said he would reimburse me and pay to get the hair corrected if I removed my review, he wanted me to remove the review first, He then via text, threatened legal action if I did not remove the review. The response from management has since been changed and a new number is there- i am fearful to call, give the meanness of the man who had originally posted his number as manager, who, BTW ignored my requests to get his name. I have never had such a bad experience from a business in my entire life. read more

No stars is earned here. On Sunday I went in to have full highlights put in my hair. Aside from a layer on the top of my head and about 2 inches of the bottom of my hair being dyed previously the rest of my hair was "virgin" hair. I have been growing out my hair for almost 2 years now and finally decided I wanted to do something nice for myself after having my son. After the lady washed my hair she sat me in the chair, faced me away from the mirror, blow dried my hair, straightened it THEN cut it which I didn't ever mention a cut but once she sat me in the chair and started blow drying it she then asked me if I wanted a cut with layers which I just said sure. Seemed like she was trying to cover something up but I just ignored it. It looked pretty dry when she finally let me look at it and it felt very rough but I thought it was alright and just accepted that it might be a little messed up. Tuesday morning I washed my hair, it literally felt like I was squishing a sponge when I was wringing my hair out. I then looked at it in the mirror and the blonde pieces looked like noodles and was very elastic and just breaking off in chunks even with the slightest pull. I called the salon to let them know and they just told me to come in to have it fixed. Mind you it took 4 HOURS to air dry when it usually takes like 30 minutes as I always air dry my hair always have and have NEVER had it take that long. (The lady in the salon said I HAD to blow dry my hair and no wonder it wouldn't dry. Hair shouldn't take 4 hours to dry without a blow dryer) I went in today, Wednesday because it's just when I could and I told them everything that happened they said they could deep condition it and cut it. They wouldn't even consider giving me even half of my money back because to them it was just "dry". I went home washed it deep conditioned it myself and came back to the salon to show them what it looked like wet. They then proceeded to tell me it was just dry and that it wasn't breaking off even when I showed them it was breaking off. I was trying my hardest to not get frustrated and be nice as they were telling me I was wrong when my hair was literally awful. The employees then proceeded to ignore me after they told me one last time that it was just dry and they wouldn't do anything. They then started to Talk shit about me RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and all of the other customers in the salon. I swear on everything I love I've NEVER experienced such terrible customer service in my life. I've had my hair and nails messed up before and I've never ever asked for the money back never even complained just didn't go back. My hair is SO messed up that I had to go back and say something and they didn't care or even try to do anything but condition it and cut it. I'm beyond disappointed and angry that they let someone walk around with their name on their hair when it looks like this. read more

Went to Isalon today to get a trim and cut for my partner. The older woman was rude to me bc she was using a trimmer and cut my hair on side of his hair so I asked me partner if that is what he wanted and she responded "mind your own business I am doing his hair and she is doing yours." I responded that he was my husband and it was my business. My husband told me after that she just cut his hair like very fast. My husband was afraid that she would used two tools to cut his hair in the back. He was not happy. My stylist was kind. Do not recommend this place. Very rude older heavy set woman. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. God I always liked going to this place for trims and such. Teresa always does my hair and eyebrows but oh my god. I'm starting a new job and I want to look professional. So I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and my nails done. I went in and she waxed my eyebrows and then I realized that my left eyebrow was SEVERELY DIFFERENT from my right side. It was way thinner and ugly!! It seriously looked like it came from the early 2000's!! Unnatural and pencil looking! We did my nails and I got gel nails. I thought, "okay she messed up on my brows but they can still grow hopefully!! I'll just use my bangs to cover my eyebrow!" BUT!! I chose a neutral color and she kept asking me if I wanted a brighter or glittery color but I said no! So she did I color I asked for. And then you started adding glitter on my ring fingers! And then I said I didn't like it, but she said she already applied it. I also was cut several times in the cuticle cleaning process. I STILL had to pay $40! In cash! Apparently the card machine was broken so I had to go to an ATM. I was so upset I cried when I drove home. I ripped off the glitter on my ring fingers forcefully. I was going there for the past 6 months. But not anymore. There's a reason why they're "cheap". Super low quality. I'm so upset that I'm never going back. My eyebrows are ruined and I'll be starting my first day at work with a super thin uneven eyebrow and a terrible manicure. Don't trust people like this. Others do an "OK" job, but so basic that I really don't see the point of tipping (though I always do, just less than if I see Theresa). You should probably be comfortable with minimal English spoken, and be listening to conversations in the native language. I've been getting my hair cut here for many years, but was recently given a bad haircut. There are two good haircutters and one bad one. The bad haircutter is heavier than the other two and you should avoid her at all costs. She took about five minutes to finish a careless haircut. She cut it so bad that when I got home to look more closely, I had to cut hairs she missed around my ears and on top of my head. There were all sorts of inconsistencies and places she completely missed. This haircutter has lighter, dyed hair and does not care about the quality of haircuts she gives. I'm really disappointed. If you want a better haircut, go with the other workers (they have black hair and are not as heavyset). They give better, more careful haircuts. read more

So she cut the sides with a one and the top with a three or two and she left the top un even. read more
