They didn't take the drill out or smooth it or anything just very sloppy very rough very aggressive. Because of the remodel, I was not able to get my scheduled fill for lashes I had discussed with management that when they would open that I would get my fill at a discounted rate or if needed a full set at a discounted rate. It seemed like today there was confusion and well I was given an eyelash technician. SHe was very aggressive very rough highly inappropriate she snatched the fan out of my hand after I told her that my eyes were sensitive and she responded by saying no your eyes are not sensitive She said your eyes aren't even watering. I said, excuse me, but these are my eyes and they're sensitive and she got glue in my eyes. She poked my eyes, and I had also heard her speaking about me in Vietnamese mixed with English. At this point, I was uncomfortable and asked her if she could complete it because I wanted to leave. I sat there for about an hour, listening to her talk badly about me in my face. She spoke badly about my skin. She spoke badly about my eyelashes, and she even spoke badly about my ethnicity. I expressed how uncomfortable I was an only paid because I was very upset and wanted to get out of there immediately because my eyes were in pain. I mean, they are dry. I have reached out and haven't heard anything back in response and I plan on contacting the board of cosmetology and I plan on getting a full refund but Hay if you want to go and get your nails done there is a guy and he actually repaired my nails really well in there, but everybody else is really rushed really rude. Also if you want to spend a lot of money and listen to people speak badly about you in Vietnamese because it's their establishment then go right on ahead but I'm licensed in and there's nowhere where it says you can't speak in your native tongue but why would you speak badly about paying customers? I've been looking for a consistent barber for years here near 82nd Ave and this is it. Be aware. No thrills no frills location. Hole in the wall but gets the job done. Don't expect a shot of liqour or a beer. Get a haircut and hold the door closed on the bathroom cause it doesn't close good type of place. Lol. But great cut! I would refer this place for any men's haircut. I can't speak on women's haircut but when my wife gets a cut here, I'll update this review.

Regardless, at the time, haircut was $7 which was a great price for the service. Now, 10 years later, with time, inflation, due to government taxation, etc...price for haircuts is now $10.00. Admittedly, the place isn't the best looking establishment, but I don't go there to sit and stare at the walls and ceiling. However, despite the time and price increase, the same person still cuts and does a wonderful job with my hair. As long as they keep the prices fair and the good service that they do, I'll keep going back. Try it once and decide for yourself. I learned in the military that only difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is 7 days.

My previous experiences have been okay. This time I had someone different, and I felt there was room for improvement in the customer service realm. I tried to make an appointment online, which was never confirmed. I called ahead to inquire if I could come at that time because I had not received a confirmation. The woman who answered stated she never checks that anyways. I went in and besides a hello few words were spoken. I asked for a tint and threading. The threading is okay, but nothing spectacular. The tinting was the downfall. As a redhead I feel some thought has to be put into the color. A brown was quickly mixed and thrown on. During the time it set (and I was not told a waiting time or any inkling of it), the woman went to what sounded to be a fridge and was sounded as though she were eating at the desk. I'm not tinting expert, but the time felt longer than previous times I have sat. I only get my brows done once a year for so when I feel like it, and considered I was probably wrong because she is a professional. When she came back and removed the tinting solution I thought they looked a bit dark, but thought it may be my pink skin from the threading/rubbing and the lighting. When I went outside and checked in sunlight I did find they were very dark. They seemed as though they would match the woman's dark brown hair rather than my red. I went back in to inquire if she thought they were dark or if there was anything to do about it. She said she had just used brown, and there was nothing to do. She did apologize, but I thought I would leave this review for any fair skinned red heads out there looking for a tint.

When I brought the issue up, she was gaslighting me telling me that she couldn't thread the other one because it would take a big part of the hair off. Why then would you take more hair from the other eyebrow leaving it thin then? Arezo actually does a very well job, takes her time, is very kind, and GENTLE. So if you go PLEASE ask for her unless you want a painful rough experience. Very disappointing :((

I specifically asked for a straight bob with a blunt, even line. Instead, she ignored my instructions and cut the back into a U-shape, leaving the underneath much shorter and the ends choppy and uneven. It looks nothing like what I requested. The most frustrating part wasn't just the haircut--it was her attitude. Every time I tried to explain what I wanted or pointed out that it wasn't being cut the way I had asked, she argued with me instead of listening. As a customer, I expect my stylist to pay attention to my requests, especially after I clearly repeated them several times. Instead of trying to understand or correct the problem, she acted like she knew better. What's even more disappointing is that about a year ago she gave me the exact straight cut I wanted, which is why I came back. This time, she completely ruined my hair. Now I have to wait months for it to grow out before another stylist can even try to fix it. The haircut cost $22, but honestly, I would have gladly paid $60--or even more--for someone who actually listened and delivered the haircut I asked for. Price isn't the issue. The issue is leaving with a haircut that looks nothing like what I requested and being argued with when I tried to speak up. A haircut can take months to grow back, so it's heartbreaking when it's done incorrectly.
