Getting a manicure in Molalla sounded skeptical to me. I had lived there for 2 years and never even thought to give the nail salons a try. Not too sure why... We called Magic Nails to make an appointment, and she saw us later that day. We were going to get regular manicures but decided to get Gel manicures after we realized that she did those. She listened to exactly what we wanted and created an awesome and unique design for us.For me it was french manicure with glitter on the tips. It was literally the BEST gel manicure I have EVER gotten, and I get my nails done all the time in the big city down here! The manicure lasted so long, and stayed perfect. She was fantastic, attentive, super precise, and very friendly and talkative. If I lived in the area, I would go here regularly (and feel foolish for never giving this place a chance when i DID live here!). The icing on the cake was the price, super reasonable and much cheaper than other places. I highly recommend this salon for any of your nail needs (and especially the gel manicures). For starters, it doesn't smell like a nail salon in here. No overwhelming smells of acrylic and polish. Tons of colors, services, and a great beverage menu if you're looking for a cocktail/mocktail (I love the Vietnamese coffee, but maybe that's just me). You can also book online which makes getting an appointment super easy. Tbh, I love anywhere I don't have to call and speak with a human to book an appointment. The technicians themselves are very skilled and professional. Tina is my go-to for an amazing pedicure. I always get the Elite Pedicure with gel color ($90). The appointment takes 60 minutes and includes extras like a callous scrub, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, etc. The pedicure chairs have built-in massage rollers and the technicians always use a new bowl liner, new tools, and wear gloves. For a manicure, Danielle is amazing. I get the L'Amour Manicure ($60) with Builder Gel ($60). With the builder gel, my nails last four weeks -- and I have really soft, bendy nails and am incredibly physical with my hands so definitely get the builder gel if you have issues with nails chipping. The L'Amour manicure includes a sugar scrub, massage, paraffin wax, and moisture mask. If you just get the builder gel, they will still clean up the cuticles but it doesn't include the other manicure services. Is it more than other places? Yes, but you get what you pay for. The overall cleanliness, atmosphere of the salon, quality of services, the ease of booking, and the consistency of the technicians make this place worth every penny.
