I am biracial and each time I went, my edges were never left straightened. For the price and the money, it is a little disappointing to have services done that you are left feeling sub-standard. Each time I go to the salon, I see a different stylist as there has been changes in the staff there. I just went an Gamaliel was my stylist. HE IS GREAT. His approach and demeanor are excellent. I will consistently keep going back to see him as he left my hair silky, perfectly smooth and luxurious. I am so glad I have found Gamaliel, he is a perfectionist and pays attention to detail. there is a reason why this place has low reviews. believe the people who have bad experiences and…read moretake time out of their days to help deter others from the same trash treatment. with that being said--don't go here. this place and the people that work here should be out of business with how they handle clients. i had an event, so i booked a blowout at 555pm. these people rescheduled my appointment to 625pm without telling me, other than sending an automated text the day of. i left that alone and accepted it. they then texted me again at 2pm saying my stylist had an emergency and i need to come in at 3pm or i need to cancel. i then respond saying that's pretty inconvenient and asked if i could get a discount or something for having to rush. after i said that, with no mention that i planned on canceling, they send me a text saying THEY canceled. i was pissed at that point, so i called. 6 different call attempts, the first went through and was ignored, the other 5 went straight to voicemail. how unprofessional can a business get? just go to a real hair salon to get your hair styled. this place, their employees, and their communication absolutely suck. and ps: in case they try to use this, yes, at the end of our text conversation, i called them d*ckheads. i was nothing but pleasant before that. they deserve a lot worse than that (-:

On the day of the trial I thought she would come to me, but that was not the case (oh no!). I was able to make it to her studio in time to still have my appointment which did not feel rushed at all despite me being late. She is knowledgeable about skin health and gave me great tips on making my skin look as healthy as possible for the wedding day. I do not usually wear makeup and loved the finished product. My husband on the other hand looked at me like I was a total stranger! The morning of the ceremony (which was VERY early in the morning) I asked her to lighten up the look so my husband could recognize me. She did a great job adjusting to my request. I also wanted to make a little change to the hairstyle we had tried, which Marina was able to do perfectly. My husband wanted to have a stress free time getting ready, so she did his hair too! I also had Marina wax the winter coat I was wearing on my legs. Let me tell you, my legs had never been that smooth!
