Merit Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Happy Valley, Oregon

Excellent service, friendly attentive staff. I highly recommend for quality care and a calm environment.

This is a little run of the mill nail spa located in a strip mall. But their pedi prices run like they're an Elizabeth Arden Red Door spa. My pedi for $80, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, was a solid 5. The massage was barely felt because it was so light. The polish application was good, that's what got them one star on their rating. The place also looked very clean, appreciated that. Very nice nail techs. But not worth the money. read more

Great little place! Very clean, quiet and serene. The gal that did my nails was professional and did an amazing job! Highly recommend.

I just visited this spa today and although it was very nice and I appreciated that they followed strict COVID guidelines I just realized that online it states that a regular pedicure is $39 and I was charged $44. Linh the nail tech was very nice and I'm sure if I had spoken up and realized when I was paying she would have told me why I was being charged $5 more but regardless I would probably visit this place again but would want them to tell me if the prices changed prior to paying. Revised review: Thank you to Lihn who explained the price difference! Will definitely be back again as this spa is very clean, friendly and affordable! read more

Will definitely be back! Linh was so nice! I went in for a pedicure and shellac manicure and she did an amazing job on both. She definitely cares about her clients and the health of their nails. Pricing is good, and the booking process was seamless. Thank you, Linh! read more

Merit Spa is exactly the salon I've been looking for. It's owner operated, exceptionally clean and following best practices for hygiene. The salon is lovely, serene and comfortable. Linh does beautiful and thorough work, (my hands and feet always look good) AND she's super nice. Appointments are easy and everything is done very efficiently. There are lots of other services available like eyebrow shaping, waxing and skincare. Linh really is the best and I appreciate her skills and attention to detail. If you don't like the vibe at the high pressure places come here, you'll leave feeling taken care of! read more

Absolutely wonderful experience, I will not go to another salon/spa. I had a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. Linh did a fantastic job and was as nice as she could be, she is a joy to be around. The manicure lasted so long that my nails grew out before the polish failed. Linh took the shellac off this afternoon and my nails look healthy (not chalky or damaged) I am very happy with Merit Spa and will be letting my family and friends know as well. Suzette K. read more

What a fabulous experience from start to finish! I live 90+ miles from this spa and when I come to town I like to stack my appointments and get the most out of my day. I called a few days ago and spoke with Linh. I asked if she could take me at 9:00 am, one hour before they open. She was more than happy to accommodate!! She even offered to come in at 8:45! I had a wonderful shellac manicure and pedicure. Both detailed and done to a tee! I will for sure be back and appreciate the above and beyond customer service! Thanks Linh and your Mom! read more

Very clean, family owned salon. I love that they try to be as natural and eco friendly as possible. Very friendly!! I reached out last minute Monday and the owner came in early to see me today. It was not expected at all, but so so so appreciated. I will come here for all my mani/pedi needs. I also really liked that she educated me on my dry cuticles and talked about how to help. Can't wait to return! read more

Linh is the best nail specialist in this Happy Valley area. Super friendly and provides a great service. Her mom is also super kind! Every wedding I attend, I always seek Link to get my manicure and pedicure done, and she does it perfectly. :) I always ask her to pick the best color and design for my skin color, and she selects the best after hearing my tastes and preferences. I respect her professional skills so much and her long extended amount of experience in this field. The fact that she drives ~45 minutes everyday from home to work, it's shows her commitment, and how serious she is about her job. Her attention to details is superb. I would rate 10/10 if I had a choice. Highly recommended this place. Great service. read more

Merit nail spa provided exceptional service, was clean, and a very relaxing environment! Had the best pedicure I've ever had!

This salon is very natural, focusing on natural, non-toxic supplies. There are no artificial nails here which is the biggest reason I keep going back. The air in the salon is clean unlike so many other nail salons that give you a headache after just a few minutes from the smell and so many particles in the air. Linh takes her time and does an excellent job. This is the only nail salon I will go to now. read more

Loved Linh. this spa really focuses on quality not quantity, she took her time and was very detailed in her work. My pedicure was amazing! Happy client here read more

The 1st visit to this Salon was nice. The second trip was not, horrible manicure. Was charged for something we did not ask for or got. I Wanted a explanation, we were told we did get what we were charged for. I have been getting manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing for many years and I am a licensed Cosmetologist, I know enough to know what services I received and didn't. She continued to tell us we got deluxe pedicures, we most definitely did not. read more

Linh is such a lovely person! She is responsive, kind and does such a great job with my nails. I've been an acrylics girl for YEARS and Linh is helping my journey back to healthy natural nails. Will keep coming back for my manicures!! read more

I have been in twice now and both times Linh, the owner, has done a wonderful job! She takes her time and pays close attention to detail and my shellac manicure last weeks. The salon is very clean and they use natural products which make the environment even more comfortable. read more

I recently visited Merit Spa for the first time. I had a wonderful experience! My pedicure was perfect. I had a mango mimosa during the service and it was very tasty. I smudged my big toe during the drying process and they insisted on fixing it before I left, even though it was totally my fault. The place was very clean, had a nice relaxing ambiance, and the staff was very professional and nice. I will be going back for my pedis and also trying other services they offer! read more

Linh always does an amazing job with my nails! On my last visit I was in a sling from shoulder surgery and she was very accommodating to make sure I was comfortable during my mani. She does great job and they never chip. I feel like Linh really cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. Excellent covid-19 practices in place. I feel safe while I'm there. Thank you, Linh!! read more

Chose to go here because of the good reviews and one of the places near me that did "natural" nail care. Since I am pregnant I am staying away from the chemical smells. Booked my appointment online and it was super easy. The place was fairly easy to find and there were lots of parking. (Private parking as well as street parking). I got what I believe was the deluxe manicure and my daughter had her nails painted (she is 9). When we arrived the technician had just finished with her client and so we signed in and filled out the Covid questionnaire and were asked to choose our polish colors. The technician got my station ready and had me sit at my station while she painted my daughters nails. I figured mine would be second since it would take longer. There was just one technician btw, whom was very friendly and professional. Pedicure was amazing and I felt like she did a little extra with the foot massage since I am pregnant. So 5 stars for that. The reason for my 4 stars was there wasn't many polishes to choose from. I would say that maybe they had about 40 or so. And some of the polishes looked like they were old. Perhaps if they upped their polish game I would go back. read more

I cannot imagine why anyone would leave less than 5 stars for this salon. I have visited Linh for years now, (with a short break during covid) and she's become like family. My 6 year old daughter has been with me a handful of times and she wants to own a spa when she is older because of the way Linh makes her feel. She will treat you like the most important customer! I am always greeted with a smile. Linh and her staff are efficient and friendly. I love the text message reminders for appointments. I love my shellac manicures every time and they rarely last less than 3+ weeks! If I ever have a "lift" or "chip" Linh is very accommodating to fix immediately and quickly. ( I am VERY hard on my nails!) My feet have never felt better! Try the deluxe pedi. Linh is the epitome of customer service. She works very hard and takes pride in her craft. Tip her well, she deserves it! You will never be disappointed here. Thank you, Linh! read more

The staff is extremely costume focused and their prices competitive. The shop was extremely clean. I say shop because the facility isn't spa like in my opinion. They have pedicure chairs in the front of the shop with facial rooms to the right. All in all I enjoyed my facial. They made sure they told me the products that they were using a few times throughout the process. The one thing that I didn't like was the fact that the facial room is too close to the front of the shop which allowed the noise from the rest of the shop to creep into the room. I expect a darker, quiet ambiance that allows for relaxation when I'm at a "spa." read more

Love this place! New to the area and was looking for a nail salon for pedis. Glad to have found a great spot to keep coming back to! Linh, the owner, is so friendly and does such a nice job. She takes great care in providing excellent service (and great conversation too!) and truly strives to provide an enjoyable experience. The quality of my pedis has been great too and they last. Plus, the salon uses nontoxic products. Can't rave enough about Merit Spa...definitely check it out and support this local small business. read more
