I just left the nail shop and had the BEST experience. Lily was amazing, like truly patient, detailed, and super kind the whole time. She made sure everything looked perfect and I never felt rushed. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The service was top notch, and you can tell they really care about making people feel comfortable and taken care of. What really impressed me is that they stayed late to fit me and my partner in, which says a lot about their customer service. That kind of effort is rare and it meant a lot. They also have a huge selection of colors to choose from (so many good options), and the cherry on top... they have mimosas! I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know. read more

Came here for a simple manicure and was very impressed with the service and ambience. Since then have had a blow dry and pedicure here, both services were well done and relaxing. The vibe is very relaxing, I love the dark wood and statue. Everyone I have brought here has been impressed by the staff, service, and ambience. read more

Gorgeous salon!!! It was very clean and smelled amazing! The staff were incredibly kind and professional, especially Lilly. I felt completely pampered and tended to. The pedicure was heavenly. My feet look and feel sooooo amazing! I highly recommend. Thank you Martin and Chi!!! read more

Went here with my mom today to get pedicures. Had a great experience. They were running a special for free shellac which was a nice surprise. Staff were extremely friendly and did a wonderful job. Interior was big, relaxing and beautiful. I don't splurge on myself very often but immediately booked a manicure as soon as I got home. Strongly recommend. read more

i had been coming to iris pretty consistently for awhile, there was one time that the tech used her drill to take off my gel polish and completely destroyed my natural nail. i took a break and decided to give them another chance and booked a same day appointment, i had an emergency come up and needed to reschedule so i called the salon and no answer. i left a voicemail letting them know i wouldn't be able to make it and was hoping to reschedule. now i know the "cancellation policy", i read it when i booked my appointment, but seeing as i had been a loyal customer for over a year, and gave them a call hours before the appointment i figured i would be given some grace. nope. they charged my card FULL PRICE OF THE SERVICE. and look i'm an esthetician, i understand that time is money, but i did not no call no show, and this was a first time occurrence as a loyal client. things out of your control happen in life, and not being shown any kindness, having my card charged for the entire service cost was a quick way to lose a client. some of the ladies that work there are really sweet but i won't be returning and neither will a couple of my friends that i referred. read more

Wow, obviously this place is under new management and it isn't for the better. I used to come here and have great service - I will never be back. Came in for a full set - was cut not once but twice by the tech. My nails are AWFUL. Every single nail is a different shape despite me asking her multiple times to shape them to match. They are bumpy and rough because she painted on "ombre" sparkles and didn't smooth out the gel. They are thick and uneven. Got to the counter and it was $90!!!!! For a full set with basic gel painted on. No design work, nothing special. Wow. Cannot express how awful they look - I could only them better myself. If you want your nails to look even decent, do not come here. read more

Basic Pedicure $49, includes removal, massage chair (some don't work correctly), foot soak with flower petals, exfoliation of dead skin, scrub, oil and lotion massage, hot towels, and nail polish application. The price is worth the cleanliness and the size of this salon gives me more peace in COVID times. Despite the mask mandate removal, the team is still wearing masks to protect their patrons :) Had Jennifer today and she was very kind and she did a great job. The massage was lovely. read more

What a fabulous hidden gem! This place covers it all. And the pedicures are the reason we keep coming back! Great customer service, cleanliness and overall wonderful staff. We had Theresa, Heidi and Michael working with us today and would highly recommend asking for them! But honestly everyone is so great! They also have a big beverage selection while you receive your service. read more

So it's been 3.5 weeks with my shellac and let me tell you, only one nail has chipped! (I've trimmed them since they grow out and are more prone to breaking.) The lady said they might last 2 weeks but I'm going into the 4th wk! I recommend shellac over dip. I've only heard dip chips faster. read more

I debated writing this review. I usually only write a review if it is positive. I had been to this salon twice before and I thought I would give them another try. The environment in the spa is beautiful, but don't let that fool you. I went in to have gel polish removed and then more regular polish applied. The employee ground off the gel polish without using any polish remover. She ground my beautiful natural nails so deep that they started to burn. The exterior of my nails was now rough and paper thin. She clipped the side of my thumb nails in too close and left weird jagged edges that are still trying to grow back. When I entered the salon, I had 10 long and strong natural nails. When I left, I had 10 broken nails with a sloppy polish job. I went home and removed the polish to find that each nail was now cracked and so I had to cut all my nails. The skin beneath my nails was red and bruised. 3 weeks later, and I am still having to cut my nails as short as possible because they are paper thin and splitting and breaking. When I called the manager to let her know what happened, her advice was to see a different nail tech the next time I went in. There will be no next time. I will never go back. My nails will hopefully grow out, but it will take several weeks. read more

Such a wonderful perfect morning with my mother and sister! The experience was so peaceful and relaxing, despite our loud laughter :) We have such a great time and the staff was so considerate. I came in for a fill for my acrylics which only were grown out for 1 week. So there was not much to fill and the tip was only painted which I had the tip shaved down because I didn't want long nails anymore. It cost me $70 for her to fill and do a new tip color. That's the cost for a full set anywhere else. This place overcharges! She was really annoyed I wanted only the tip painted so she charged me an extra $10 because she would rather paint the whole nail fast and easy. What's bad enough too is the fill powder she used is DARK PINK and my original powder was white so my nails have have white, half pink powder and a bold colored tip that doesn't match. read more

I had a pedicure and was pleased. The first time I went was better but the second was still far better than any other place I've been in Portland area. The lullaby music is a bit odd and prices are on the high side but would I recommend trying out the place. read more

I love coming here. Consistently the best place in the area! Always have great nails done here.

I got my nails done a few weeks ago and they still look amazing. I've never gotten powder before but it's my new favorite. It's like shellac but on steroids. I came here for a bridal party and they didn't hesitate to offer us drinks which could be tea, water or mimosa! The inside is beautiful and calming. I was a little bummed we all didn't get to sit together while doing our nails but it wasn't the end of the world. I'd recommend this place. Powder is not cheap. I think my nails in total cost $60 or so, but no chips or scratches and it's been a few weeks. A few ladies In our group ended up getting shellac and only last a week or so. They said the nail color just peeled off and chipped very easily. read more

So unhappy with the new management and structure. Have supported Iris for YEARS. Going in with my family, special with my daughter, and eye lashes. Now have to book online or through phone and must put a CC on file. 24 hour cancelation policy. There are many new places! They can have my business! read more

How this rates as a 4/5 I don't know? I wish I would have looked at reviews prior. Do yourself a favor; do not come here. Their prices are ridiculous; hence, why you won't find any on their website. They don't give you the full allotted time they say on their menus; in fact, I had a 8 minute manicure....come on. I could have done just as good a job w a pair of nail clippers. Maybe they don't think I expect much cause I'm a guy but this place is a joke. read more

I've lived near this nail shop for majority of my life and was always taken here by my mother and/ or nana to get manicures and pedicures. The one day I come in by myself I ( Age 16 only a kid not understanding what is happening) was asked to pay first before receiving my service. I had received nail services from this company so many other times along with my white mother and grandmother. But when I come in by myself ( I'm of color not white ) I'm forced to pay before I receive my service, and to add they didn't ask anyone else this. Everyone that was in the shop like I was payed AFTER they received their service ( all white ). I recently found out this happened to my neice when going here, she is also of color. Had she would have told me she was coming here I would have STRONGLY warned her against it. If you are ANY person of color (seems they only want one type of clientele ) do not come here or support their business please. Have I would have been an adult when enduring this experience I would sue. Learning this happened yet again to someone I love at a young age. Not going to let it slide again. This is not okay what so ever ! And not a way to do business. If you are not a person of color but are genuine , just , and know what's right please don't support this business. THEY DISCRIMINATE! read more

I came here first time with my family. Right when we entered the atmosphere was amazing and got amazing service by Micheal. He welcomed us like he's welcoming us into his own home. His all 6 staff was amazing. I got a pedicure done by Trersa. She was amazing. She focused 60 min just doing my pedicure and not wasting a single minute. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Had a pedicure done. Enjoyed my experience. The lady did a great job. A little spendy but I will go back.

I never leave reviews. Ever. But wow. I paid 61 for a fill and never had such a terrible job done. I've never paid so much for a full set, let alone a FILL. I asked about the price and they said their prices went up..?? I was just here a few weeks back. I will never come back here. Save your money and go somewhere else. No salon will charge you so much. Extremely disappointed. read more

Iris Salon & Spa - Lots of bubbles and scratches - Day Spas Near Me - Happy Valley, Oregon

I'm going out of country for a wedding tomorrow as a bridesmaid, I was given a color that didn't come in shellac. I always do shellac mani pedi but this time had to do a regular mani pedi with Kim. My nails look like they were painted by a child!! I am so unhappy with the results. She did a sloppy job, she's sales oriented and rushed to finish my manicure because she was distracted by other customers waiting. I had an appointment this is not a right way to treat a customer. She didn't file my nails right I told her not to cut my nails short but she didn't care to listen and did it anyway, I could've done a better job myself why would i pay a professional $60? Rude front desk lady as well! She's only nice to you if you do a gel or more expensive service with them. Iris salon does low quality work with high price, they've lost my business. read more

Poor quality, polish caked underneath the nails, made my cuticles bleed from their drill and they use an already used file. Not to mention SO clumpy. I would say with 1000% confidence that i could do better myself. Went here a year ago and it was not this bad - something must have changed. Literally creating a yelp to write this review it was that bad. read more

Review for Hang - I've visited Iris Salon several times for pedicures and eyelash extensions. The salon is a clean and spacious spa with nice massage chairs for pedis and complimentary drinks. Every time I've gone for a pedicure has been relaxing and just what I needed. Decided to get my lashes done recently and am pleased. I wanted a natural look so Hang went with wispy butterfly volume lashes on me. She took the extra time to make sure I was completely happy with the results. She is a perfectionist! Thanks again, Hang! read more

Worse place to come for pedicure they charged me before I even got started done. Kept leaving and wasting my time. She only did a 25 min pedicure when it's a 40 min pedi and didn't do anything the $51 cost sweet sensation has written on the menu. This place deserves a 0 star read more

This is the most elegant salon I have ever visited! I happened to show up on the day that the salon was celebrating Vietnamese New Year, so everyone was dressed to the nine's!!! Gorgeous!!! From the moment you want in, you are treated like a guest of honor. I went in for a mani-pedi. Loved the service and attention to detail! My only regret is that I don't live in the area. If I did, I would be a regular, for sure! read more

Discovered this new salon in Clackamas and had a good experience. The place is very spacious, they have a good variety of colors of nail polish to choose from, it has a nice feel to it and a friendly staff. I got my nails done and it was a relaxing experience. They offer a variety of drinks from coffee to mimosas and they had a nice spread of pastries to munch on. It was a very enjoyable first time at Iris and I will definitely be going back. read more

I really like this nail salon, however, you need to know who the talented technicians are be sure to only book appointments with them. Mia has been the best and pays the closest amount of detail in her work. After reading some negative reviews, I knew that best bet was to make an appointment with someone other patrons recommended and I wasn't disappointed. I took off one star because it's a little over priced and it could be a little cleaner. (The towels all had some stains on them and looked dirty. And I noticed some crumbs on a seat where some one had been and the nail technician didn't clean it up before the next patron sat in the chair) read more

Celebrating the Lunar Year I knew I wanted to have my nails reflect the lucky envelopes! Mimi never disappoints! She takes such good care giving pedicures and manicures.
