The only little blip I ran into was one of the substitute instructors - she was supposed to be teaching a Basics class however she taught a class that was more of a gentle Vinyasa. I have enjoyed the many classes I have taken in the past 3 weeks and look forward to continuing my yoga practice at WWC.

Daniela M. let me know she was planning to use hot stones and a cupping technique where she moves the suction around to break adhesions up so she can better get to my problem areas. I'd never done it before, so I was excited yet apprehensive. The only thing I know about cupping is the round bruises I've seen on friends backs. However with this specific technique, there was zero bruising and it felt so amazing! I've honestly never walked away from a massage feeling like my body had let out such a huge sigh and released all this tension. I used to be able to crack my back at home simply by using a back roller but it's been years. A few hours after I left my appointment here, I ran myself down the back roller and heard the beautiful sound of "pop pop pop pop" from everything resetting itself. After chugging a ton of water and stretching, I headed off into my best night of sleep in a long while. I think Daniela M. will have to become part of my monthly routine. She balanced out really getting into problem areas of my body, while moving to softer and more relaxing techniques. It's hard to find someone who can do the work needed to get out the knots while still having you enjoy the overall experience. She was also great at being personable, with some small talk that usually I initiated, while still giving space for silence so that I could zone out. In the end, this is the first time I've debated setting a monthly massage with someone. I've enjoyed past massages, I've had tons at highly rated and respected places. Yet this is the first time someone has been able to make my muscles feel like jello (in a good way) without me cringing the entire time and feeling beat up the following days. What followed was one of the most unprofessional and confusing front-desk interactions I have ever experienced. The receptionist was completely unfamiliar with standard massage terminology. She didn't know what neuromuscular therapy was, stumbled over "trigger point," and didn't seem to understand that they are closely related modalities. Despite representing a large clinic with numerous LMTs, she could not tell me if any therapist on staff specialized in this work, nor could she confirm schedule availability for the upcoming Saturday. Her solution was to tell me she "might" call me back the next day after checking. Asking a potential new client to wait over 24 hours just to find out if a clinic is even capable of performing a requested service is entirely unacceptable. When I explained that I would have to take my business elsewhere if basic scheduling and modality questions couldn't be answered, she seemed completely baffled. What kills me is that her lack of training directly hurts the therapists working there. By being completely unable to sell their services or book a basic appointment, she essentially reached right into an LMT's pocket and snatched a $120 session away from them. I will be taking my business to a clinic that actually understands basic massage therapy terminology and values a client's time. Avoid this place unless you already have a direct line to a specific therapist, because the front desk is actively driving new business out the door.

The masseuses were amazing, no complaints there, but when we tried to tip and asked if 100% goes to the masseuse, they said 25% goes to the spa and 75% to the masseuse. I'm sorry, what? Very unethical considering that structure is not transparent at all. The massages were amazing so it's a shame they're not getting their fair share.

My mom, best friend, and I have been going to Mary's nail salon for almost a year now. I'm so thankful to have found this place. Everyone who works here is so sweet and the place is so beautiful. What made me write this review is especially because of today. When I came in a woman had been sitting getting her nails done by one of Mary's daughters, her friend was talking very loudly and being what'd I say is super obnoxious. The lady receiving the manicure started to yell at Mary's daughter (poor girl), and what seems like trying to get a free manicure out of the salon. Mary and her daughter handled the situation so professionally and so kindly. And I'm very very impressed. Although some people in life are so very rude and evil, there's a spark of humanity and fluidity and so much professionalism in amazing people (like Mary and her daughters). Thank you! read more

Been going to Mary since before she had her own salon. Best nail tech in the city to be honest. The place is amazing and always clean. They offer you a free beverage which never fails! I opted for the Class Pedicure for $40 but was charged an extra $15 for shellac (did not realize she was doing this until we were at checkout and I was shocked by my total price), an add on that I did not requested for but Emmy decided on her own to do this. During the pedicure, Emmy barely cut my cuticles, scrub the dead skin off my feet, and the massage was lackluster. At the end of the pedicure service, I asked her if it was possible to just have my nails cut and clean which is usually around $20 at other nails salon that I went to in the past. During the cleaning of my nails, I had to ask her to file my nails (she was leaving them sharp) and rounded it. She barely cut my cuticles. It was like she was making the movement but wasn't cutting anything. My hands look like I had cut them at home (see photos). But she charged me $29 for this service!! I asked her is that your typical price for cleaning nails and she said its the same price if I was to do regular polish! If I knew it was the same price I would've gotten it painted regularly. I told her I did not know that since I usually get shellac for my nails since they peel faster when you do regular and she didn't even offer to paint them and just gave me a smile. My total was $84, and I ONLY GOT MY FEET PAINTED. I felt swindled because Emmy was not communicative on pricing nor services. She never asked me if I want regular or gel/shellac and never offer to paint my nails even though its the same price. Usually the service and techs here are very honest and sweet but today's appointment made me very disappointed and I will not be returning. TDLR: Do not have Emmy as your tech, her service is lackluster but you will pay premium prices. Ask for prices and communicate what you want so they can't add on and charge you for things you did not ask for!!! PS: This isn't about prices since I just took my sisters and mom here in June and spent over $500. This is about low quality of service and swindling customers by adding things on without them requesting for it!!
