Had been going here since years. My last trip will be my last. Service has declined in the last year. I was not given the service I had requested and scheduled. My pedicure was supposed to be a deluxe and it was less than a classic. I was in an out in 20 minutes. My nails were not cut as I requested. The person doing my pedicure was so involved with their cellphone. My gel polish started lifting with in less then a week. read more

I got a pedicure here on Sunday, it was relaxing. My issue is with the quality of the polish application, I got white polish on my toes & when the clear coat got applied there was a pink streak in it from whoever had used it prior. To remedy this the person waited for it to dry and added another coat of white polish on top then the clear coat which left the polish uneven. I asked of he could fix where it was uneven and an attempt was made but it didn't fix the problem. Also just noticed theres air bubbles in the middle toe's paint. Here's 36hrs post pedicure on this nail. I got the deluxe package which was $45, I don't feel like this meets the quality standard for a $45 pedicure. read more

This review Is for an acrylic nail job. People were nice but as far as services go: they ruined my cuticles and my fingers bled and stung. Would not return. I get my nails done ALOT and a good nail artist should never, ever, ruin your cuticles. I came here as a last resort prior to NYE for an acrylic fill ($20), the nail artist named Dang worked on my fingers. She was very kind and patient, however a few things that knocked off 3 stars: She used tools that were not properly sanitized right after finishing up on another client. No offer was made for fresh tools or option. So you're pretty much getting other peoples old nail particles on your fingers. She grazed my cuticles on 4 fingers with the automatic filing tool (the one used to grind down acrylic nails and shape them). My cuticles bled and stung, she continued to apply the drying liquid which then soaked deeper into my open cuts and stung! She applied acrylic powder over it and that made my fingers hurt. Nothing was done when I mentioned the pain, she only slightly blew on them. Wth? My cuticles became inflamed and sore. They also charge $3 for use of a debit / credit card. I've attached photos of how my cuticles looked afterward. While she did a good job on the nails, however the pain in my fingers ached all New Years due to being grazed and soaked in chemicals. I would suggest you not go here if you care about your nail health. read more

This is definitely the best nail salon I've been to in Portland (granted I haven't been to many in Portland). I used to just get waxed here (very meticulous and cheap) but since I got a full acrylic set back in Phoenix I needed a fill and decided to try them out. I unfortunately didn't catch the name of the technician who did my nails; all I know is that she is the only employee there that can do acrylic fills. I'm assuming her name is Dana based on previous reviews. She is super sweet, friendly, and careful. With the amount of care she put in I was thinking maybe it would take a bit, but it took less than an hour--a lot quicker than most other places. It only cost $35 with gel. I moved to Portland 1 year and 9 months ago. Have been on the hunt for a permanent nail salon that I could trust with my nails every single time I went. Finally found the one! Dana did such an amazing job on my acrylic fill (that was an original full set by a different salon, that looked awful!) and my pedicure. I was so pleased with how nice she was, easy to talk to, and her work was perfect! She completely reshaped my nails in all aspects and made them pretty again! Her work reminded me of the work my nail lady used to do in LA (who I went to for 4 years). So to say I'm happy and coming back is an understatement. On top of that, the nail salon is relaxing. There's therapeutic music playing, and each salon station can be made more private with curtains. The bathroom was also clean. Helpful tip: Bring cash to pay. Called to make an appointment for a dip manicure and asked how much it would be. They told me it would be $40 so I agreed and made an appointment! During the appointment the lady kept asking if I wanted a fill with shellac on top, but I kept saying no thank you and just a dip manicure. Well, in the end she ended up putting shellac on my nails against my wishes. They charged me $50. I didn't feel comfortable refuting it in fear of being a "karen", so I just took the loss. Just a heads up there is a $3 charge to use your card? They do not have an ATM so you have an other option. I have never heard of a few that high to use your card. I don't know, seems like a pretty sketchy business that I will not go to again. read more

I really liked this place. Really wanted it to be the one that stood out from the hundreds in the area. Unfortunately, it turned out to be total disappointment. I called and got 4 appointments for my sisters birthday for my sister, my mom, my daughter and myself. We haven't had a pedicure all together in over two years. Really looked forward to it. We showed up early at 306pm and knew we would have to wait which was totally fine. Appointments we at 330pm. They started on my daughter at 315pm and she was done in 8 min which was ridiculous to have a 5 year old wait when we hadn't even been started on yet. Next they got to my mom, my sister and I were still soaking this whole time. The massage was probably 2/3 mins and they didn't scrub her feet at all and left with all this callous! At 4pm they came over to my sisters chair but at this time we were already over it and didn't want my mom and daughter to wait longer for us. So we cancelled ours and left. My mom was charged $70 for the two pedicures!! Insane for what they got especially the 8 min child one. Will never go back and sad to see this place has only come to be money hungry and not respect appointments or loyal customers who wanted to support them. Money comes first before appointments, just remember that. You'll need to wait until their walk ins are done before your appointment is honored. read more

Big concerns arose in my head re hand washing/hand sanitizer after leaving the chair?! In addition, he cut my skin when using a cuticle like tool. Four hours after my pedicure and my big toe is still throbbing and bleeding. Overall he didn't visibly show concern for my toe. I cleaned it as soon as I got home but feeling nervous re germs, potential infection. Also, they charge $3 for using a card, which is illegal in Oregon. I did some massive research before coming to this place and I noticed that all of the photos where Dana was the nail tech the nails looked amazing. So I decided to give it a try and I got in my car and drove here after calling and scheduling an appointment because I don't like to eat. I got in and immediately was able to get seated for my pedicure that was amazing and done by somebody who did a great job I just didn't catch their name. Then it was time for me to get my nails done mind you I have not had my nails on in a very longTime because I was taking a break from them and I wanted my natural nails to heal from the 13+ years that I've had nails on. Anyway to the nitty-gritty Dana is amazing and these nails are probably the best that I have ever had I will update in about two weeks to let you know if they have been broken or if they have been lifting because a really good nail tech won't let that happen! Once you walk in, it's a nice atmosphere (surprising bc of the outside), and it wasn't busy. They were very nice, and I don't want to write a bad review, but I wouldn't go back; so, I think the prior ratings weren't accurate, and I'm not sure why. Spending $60+ for something fun to do with someone you care about --it's a decent amount. And, I wouldn't return to this place. It was the worst pedicure I've gotten, and my toe bled and hurt the entire time. It could have been the person who gave me the pedicure --maybe they were having an off day. I don't know.
