I've been going here for pedicures for years now. Such a vast improvement over the somewhat creepy experiences I had in salons I visited in the past. Salon is clean, comfortable and friendly, relaxing. Owner Hailey is a professional that becomes a friend. Elaine read more

**They are still open** Love Haley! She does an amazing job every time I come in to see her. She has been my nail artist for the past couple of years and I'm SO excited that she now owns the salon and I'm excited to see her continued success. She makes you feel comfortable, time flies by, and her nail art is beautiful. You won't regret booking in her very full schedule -- give her a call or text at (503) 332-6574 or check her out when her new website goes live! read more

I've been seeing Joni since she was at Nordstrom, which was years ago. I am very particular and Joni seems to never fail with getting my shape correct. Probably why I have followed her here. The little studio is super cute and homey, I love the friendly feel. Even though it is all street parking, it's in an area where parking is still free in PDX and usually can find a spot right in front of the studio. If you need a quick wax and/or a lesson on brows, see Joni! read more

Went for a manicure and pedicure after getting a gift certificate-- the space and Haley were both adorable, warm, welcoming, and a welcome break from the stress of daily life. My nails are super cute and I bought a gift certificate for my best friend before I left. Love. read more

So happy I found this place. I had a manicure and pedicure done by Pamela today and she did a great job. My cuticles aren't butchered (something I get nervous about when I try a new place), the polish was painted on evenly and covered the entire nail. I'm super picky, so I appreciate the attention to detail. I cannot wait to come back! read more

I've only had a manicure one other time (another popular nail salon in PDX I won't name) so it's not something I usually treat myself to. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding so wanted something that would look great and be durable. I had a gel manicure w/ Pamela (I didn't know who my appt would be with btw). She was so friendly! She made me feel really comfortable. She would chat with me, and then she would let me zone out and people watch which I really appreciated. She made me feel relaxed before a really hectic trip. The studio itself is really nice. Really bright and windows! Everyone there was nice and friendly and they have a lot of nice color options. They offered tea or water which was delightful. I booked another appt with her which is really rare for me to do (especially for a service I don't ever get) but I just loved how my nails turned out and how they have lasted that I feel like it is really worth it to be a regular client of Pamela's. read more

I wanted to write an update since it's been a while since my last review. I've been getting my manicures and pedicures from Pamela lately and she has been doing a great job. She's very through and gives a great leg massage. My pedicures always look great for at least a couple of weeks and my manicures last at least 5 days. She's easy to talk to and the space at Visit is so relaxing. I love going to Visit because I always feel better when I leave. My feet feel and look great, which makes me happy. If you haven't been to Visit you should really put this place on your radar. The services are top notch and they have online booking, which I absolutely love. I have been going to Visit for the past few years and I have never walked away unhappy. Go visit Visit!!! read more

First of all, I appreciate that there are no TVs blaring at you. This is a small lovely spot to get a no-stress pedicure. They use copper tubs instead of jetted tubs, which I loved. Expert foot and leg massage by Brittany. She gave me the best and most relaxing pedicure. I will definitely be back. read more

Came in for a Martini Manicure with Haley and I couldn't be happier!! Their studio is unlike any I've experienced elsewhere and here in Portland -- very clean, bright and cozy vibe. They took all the COVID precautions without it feeling awkward or impersonal which has happened at a couple salons I recently visited. Haley was the sweetest to talk to, even patiently helped me decide my multiple color design I was hoping to have for Valentine's Day. Absolutely obsessed with what we decided and can't stop looking at them! 10/10 recommend to anyone who loves a little oasis retreat when the get their nails done. And the cocktail to top it all off was so fun! Definitely recommend the Kentucky Mule read more

This business is actually open, with a new owner. Haley does an excellent job, and I won't get my pedicure or manicure from anyone else.

Are you rockin' a couple of face slugs? Maybe you've developed a cro magnon uni. Or maybe you got a lil buck wild with the Tweezermans after too much pinot on the patio, and now you look "surprised," like, all the time. Whatever your current situation, Joni at Visit Nails is the best eyebrow technician in all of Portland. She can right your wrongs and help you on the proper path to eyebrow maintenance that will compliment your face no matter what disastrous DIY you've unleashed upon yourself. Even if you just need a little lift and minor shaping, the 20+ minutes you spend in Joni's chair will be the most transformative "you time" you'll get all week. read more

I have been getting pedicures from Visit Nail Salon for a few years, and cannot recommend more highly. It is extremely clean and bright. Haley is personable and listens to, and addresses, any issues I have concerning the "particulars" regarding my foot care. Visit and Haley are the best! read more

A friend referred me to Visit and I am so glad she did. The service was amazing. My pedicure by Haley was the best. I didn't know they did eyebrow waxing and I was able to get squeezed in by Renee. It was perfect! I felt super comfortable with the bright, clean space & the very personable customer service. Going back for a facial in two weeks! read more

I am still an every 5-6 week patron of this lovely establishment every since it's opening (and a client of Renee's for years prior) for regular pedicures and eyebrow maintenance. I still choose to come here even after moving to the westside so it's safe to say I wouldn't go anywhere else. I used to only see Renee for my pedicures but have had the pleasure of getting to know each of the staff here and I love them all and their work. I started having my brows done by Monica but after he baby came, I seamlessly transitioned to Joni and couldn't be happier. These are good people, folks. Actually, they are wonderful human beings. I'm saying this about my nail place, I realize, but it's true! I love their humor and overall ease. They are laid back but are serious about quality. I look forward to each and every appointment because it always makes my day. Important to note: there have a fabulous color selection and if you get stuck, they are more than happy to help! Online booking makes things even easier. You can either do it from their website or from your Genbook app, which is what I use. read more

I came here during my honeymoon to get a manicure I'd had done for my wedding fixed. I'd been unhappy with the last one's quality, and was also happy to switch from bridal colors to something more fall-feeling. This salon was highly rated, so I made an appointment while my husband wanted to rest and read at the hotel. Joselyn put my last experience to shame (considering I can't have my nails done where I work, and I'd been looking forward to that manicure for a year!) and did an incredible job. She took great care removing the old gel, reshaped the nails that had been roughly filed before, and did a beautiful job painting the new gel. She was also so much fun to talk to and so pleasant. I don't live in Portland, but I would absolutely recommend making an appointment here if you can! The salon is clean and really cute. I'm hoping to visit the city again in the future and when I do, I'll definitely go here again! read more

I came in with a friend for a birthday manicure most recently. I really love this salon. They are always warm, welcoming, and pleasant to converse with. They also offer cocktails (which are well crafted). We had margaritas and I the mix was really nice, not too sweet at all. Manicure has held up as expected. Overall, I'd highly recommend this studio. read more

Originally from New York City where nail salons are ubiquitous, I have since cultivated a critical eye for proper nail care establishments. 'Visit Nail Studio' with Renee has exceeded my wildest dreams of the perfect nail salon. First off, so many nail salons can feel like assembly lines. Get people in, and get people out. Everything so meticulously streamlined that even your foot/hand massage is measured using a kitchen timer. Relaxing? Rejuvenating? Far from it. At 'Visit Nail Studio' Renee has created an oasis for you to receive a customized experience. Need a cocktail? Renee will be your mixologist. Need to get something off your chest? Renee is all ears. Want to zone out and practice your yoga breathing? Yup, you can do that too. The ambiance is best described as modern, clean, fresh, light and airy. Cheery succulents are scattered around, and large windows bring in plenty of light. Vibrant nail colors dance across shelving on the wall. Comfy plush upholstered chairs await you for a pedicure. Best of all, Renee's pedicures last FOREVER! And although I usually just get my fingernails buffed, her gel manicures using LED lights are incredible. They have become my newest indulgence. TIPS: -Online booking available through their website. -Plenty of street parking, but beware of '1-hour' signs. The city means it! Don't let a parking ticket ruin your pampering. -If you are unsure about what nail color, ask Renee. She has a sixth sense about nail color and will guide you expertly. -Saint Simon Coffee Co. is right next door, and WOW, their coffee pairs perfectly with a mani/pedi :) read more

Imagine a salon where you feel at ease from the moment you step through the door. No chemical smells, no cheap plastic liners, no kitchy massage chairs, and no weird vibes. The salon and equipment are obviously clean and well maintained. The products used all have ingredients I can pronounce. However, what really makes it stand out are the people. Professional, skilled, and most of all friendly. I've been coming here regularly for months, and can't imagine going anywhere else. Julie is amazing at getting short, damaged nails back to healthy. And Joni is basically a magician with brow shaping. (The glow facials are pretty fantastic too.) It is a small space, and they book up fast, but the online scheduling works well. This place is about the experience and quality. It's not the cheapest, but knowing that you'll leave looking and feeling amazing is worth the extra couple dollars every time. read more

Such a beautiful little nail salon and yes, it is definitely different from most. And by most i mean the other 99% of nail salons. There are only two seats for pedicures and one for manicure so this is why you must book an appointment. No fuss, their online appointment tool makes it super easy. Instead of the usual large spa chairs equipped with the massage functions, they have beautiful, comfy white lounge chairs and you get to soak your feet in lovely copper bins (for lack of a better word). The water is nice and hot, just the way I like it, and they really use the best quality tools that are, most importantly, very clean. Let me tell you, these ladies know exactly what they're doing. I had Julie and she was incredibly skilled and thorough with her work. She also gave me the most amazing foot massage :D Nothing was rushed and the entire vibe of the salon was chill and fun so that even though you're totally being pampered, there was no sense of pretentiousness. After some digging around, I realize the "cheap" pedicure by Portland standard is $25. Maybe it's cheaper in the suburbs but anyway, I've come to terms with it and would rather pay an extra five bucks for a more comfortable, higher quality experience. It's worth it. read more

This is, hands down, the best nail salon in town. The manicurists are lovely women who always make me feel welcome, and they do an absolutely PERFECT job. The space is amazing; so fresh, clean, and inviting. I'd love to just hang out there all day if I could! The pedicure experience is the ultimate in relaxation; I love the copper soaking tubs, and the foot and leg scrub (which they make in house) is not to be missed (and I hear they're working on bringing in homemade lotion, too!). And don't forget to treat yourself to a cocktail! Renee is quite the mixologist; her lemon drop martinis and Irish coffees (the latter is only available during the holidays), and other rotating drinks are always made to perfection: delicious and potent! The only caveat: they are so popular they tend to get booked up quickly, especially for peak times like Saturdays and Thursday and Friday evenings. Their online scheduler makes it easy; I just recommend booking in advance. You will not be disappointed! read more

This place is a cute and cozy nail/brow salon. What I like most about it is that it's small, so you won't have big groups of women overtaking the place when you are trying to relax. Also, you can understand all the staff, so you won't ever feel uncomfortable thinking they might be talking about you lol...seriously though, if you just want some relaxing girl time, you should check them out. Now, I only go here for my brows, and Joni is your girl! I've been going to her for several years and will not let anyone else touch my eyebrows. When I started seeing Joni I grew out my eyebrows and she took it from there. She shaped them, groomed them and made them look great. The rest is history! read more

Renee is so sweet! She is accommodating, a hilarious conversationalist, and gives great advice on nail colors if you are indecisive like me. I rarely get manis or pedis, but do so more in the summer. Renee has given me a great experience each time and my nails always look stellar when I walk out. Visit nail salon is a relaxing environment where you can have a cocktail and enjoy some "me" time in a comfy chair while reading guilty pleasure celebrity magazines. read more

First time here was a few days ago and the experience was great! Right away when I walked in the gals of the shop were super friendly and chatting me up like we were old friends. Could def share a bottle(s) of wine with the ladies that work here, just so fun and nice. :) I came here to get my brows done by Monica. She was super sweet and amazing at her job. She took me step by step on what she was doing and explained why she was shaping them the way she was. But she also takes in your opinion, unlike some places I've been. I told her how I didn't want my "resting bitch face" (it's a real thing ha) to get any worse so then she didn't make my arch as high. She also explains maintenance very well and what products she thinks will work best for your lifestyle and brows. Two thumbs up for this place. Already looking forward to my next visit! read more

This is the only place I will go for a good pedicure and manicure. Everyone there is very professional and so very friendly. They do amazing work and are always happy to try or suggest new colors or techniques. The products they use and good quality and leave my skin soft.
