I was unable to do that day, and they told me they had another stylist with same "master stylist" level skill. I told them I am scared due to history of bad stylists so much so that I have not had my hair professionally done since early 2023. I told Philip I wanted a light brown hair color with some highlights and a cut. My hair is down to my waist, as we all know it does not grow there without a lot of love and care. When I walked in my hair was a mediumish reddish brown with the middle chunk pretty dark. I tried to 'trust the process' and not be a control freak during the application of the dye and tried to just read my kindle. I was hopeful that Philip has listened and my hair would be beautiful. When we went to the rinse bowl was when I started to get really worried bc no toner was used on my hair. I have a reddish tint that I did not want, and I had mentioned it also. Also, how can you highlight someone's dark hair without bleaching and then toning? The answer became apparent when the blow dryer did its work. He just touched up my roots to a dark brown. When I asked about where are the highlights he stated, "I put a light brown on them so it would be more natural looking". I saw all the red that was untouched and was not impressed nor happy at all. I still tipped him because he did the work however I am waiting for a call back from someone named Tracy. I paid $382 to have my roots done and a haircut that was actually uneven. I had my 16yr old son fix the crookedness when I got home. ON top of all of that. The chair I went to sit in was filthy as well as the floor was not even swept where I sat nor next to me, I did not even want to put my purse anywhere. The salon was sooo hot and I was sitting in my sweat the whole time. I mentioned how hot it was to Philip twice as well as told him the water he was using was hot on my scalp as well. I guess it didn't matter because no change. So, for anyone who wants a nice salon, don't bother with Dosha Salon. If they are going to charge high end salon prices they should offer at least a clean chair, water with ice, air conditioning and a master stylist who listens to what you ask for.. or at least who knows how to tone hair.

One thing I really liked was that the table was heated because I've been having some issues with my back that make it uncomfortable to lay down so having that heated surface under my back made my appointment even more relaxing. I have only had Dysport, nothing else and recently went to an equally if not a better location for similar injectables at the Vancouver waterfront and it was a fraction of the price. You can also find Groupons (then cross check their Yelp reviews) for a fraction of that. I usually prefer to do lasers etc when I travel because it is MUCH LESS than of the price for the same treatments in the states, but I usually get Botox at home. Overall the vibes are weird, cons of treatments (other than dangerous) aren't really shared, or alternative options for the look you want are not shared (if not sold here) similar to other reviews. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. Especially in the cheeks. I already have full lips so I don't need that. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.

I got a wonderful HydraFacial and a LED treatment at the Bali Spa! It's a quaint, clean, and warm spa in a lovely neighborhood. And Carolyn, the owner and aesthetician, is a kind and caring person. She was very accommodating and fit me in her schedule despite planning to leave early for her vacation that day. I walked in with a dull, dry face and left with smooth, bright, and glowing skin. Got a gift certificate from my girlfriend for a european facial. I had never had a facial before and was apprehensive. The esthetician, Jordan, put me at ease, explained everything so I felt comfortable and answered all my questions...very knowledgable...Honestly, it was great.
