My girlfriend recently had a bad experience at another salon. Long story short I ended up paying almost 600 dollars for my girlfriend to be reduced to tears and embarrassed to leave the house. After leaving poor reviews for the business they actually called me and asked if they could make it right by fixing it for free. I took her back for another session and they worked on her for half a day, when I picked her up I noticed a change but it was still far from ok, and they said it would take a "few more sessions". My girlfriend ended up letting Tami at Oh Hair salon fix it. It took her about two hours to turn my girlfriends ruined, fried, multicolored hair to a beautiful natural healthy blonde that she wanted all along. Not only that but the hair even looked and felt healthier then before. I spent an extraordinary amount of money and time at another salon for what Tammi at Oh Hair managed to accomplish in a fraction of the time and cost. I can not begin to tell you how great my girlfriends hair looks and feels now. Tami knows her business, it shows in the quality of her work and her prices are excellent. Britnee at Oh Hair does the BEST pedicures in the entire country. I have been getting pedicures for years everywhere from Mario Tricocci, Gene Juarez, Dosha and Elizabeth Arden and she completely puts them all to shame. In addition when you get a pedicure the atmosphere isn't the cold, sterile day spa ambiance, but like going to Truvy's from the movie "Steel Magnolias". I will also say if you are looking for a $25 pedicure, you don't know what a pedicure is really. Britnee's cost more, but then she spends 90 minutes making them look perfect. Plus no risk of nail diseases from the jet chairs with no real sanitation like at the nail assembly line places. read more

I just came home from my second visit to Oh Hair stylist Tami Shepherd. I am thrilled with the service I am receiving. I first went to Tami about six weeks ago looking for something new in terms of both color and cut. I knew exactly what I wanted in terms of color - really vibrant copper red - but no clue what I wanted in terms of cut. I am a heavy woman with extremely curly hair and very self conscious about my hair. Tami was amazing. She gave me the color I was looking for and listened to what I wanted and didn't want from a cut. She's willing to give me whatever I ask for, but is also prepared to advise me about the pros and cons of particular looks based on my size and the shape of my face. I really appreciate that. After seeing reviews here about Tami Shepherd, I decided to give her a try. Tami had a fun upbeat personality - so easy for me to relate to. I felt really comfortable with her. She did a wonderful color/highlight on my hair and did a cut and style. Loved everything she did. The location of the Oh Hair salon is very convenient to get to being just off Sunnyside in Clackamas. Please seek out the services of the new hairstylist Susan Lidgett who cuts both men and women's hair. Susan has worked in downtown Portland for many years with R. Crew and has extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. Susan has taught as a licensed instructor as well. I had been a client of Susan's for many years only leaving recently because the distance from where I reside and a complicated work schedule made it difficult to use her services. Should my personal situation change in anyway I'd be more than happy to have Susan as my stylist again. Susan is very attentive to your hairstyle needs, listens well and offers thoughtful suggestions as asked . She is highly personable as well. Hard to even rate this place, not a pleasant experience and the stylists made no effort. She had never been there but someone had recommended them so she called the main number and scheduled the appointment for the following week for a cut and color. She was really excited to get this done and had been saving for a while to have it done. When she arrived not one of the stylists that were there had her in their calendar and they didn't know who did. My daughter did not remember nor did she know she needed to know the name of the stylist and the stylist there keep asking her who it was with. Guess when you book you should know who the stylist ist (this is not normal in other salons as there is a master calendar). Long story short, the stylists that were there were NOT helpful and almost rude because she didn't know the name of the stylist. My daughter was upset because she was really looking forward to this. We ended up going to Emerald Isle Salon (which I will write a glowing review for next) and they did a fabulous job with excellent customer service. We will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been a customer of Oh Hair! for the last 3 yrs. I am the kind of person who never really knows what I want... I just know I want to look better coming out than I did going in! I have had color, cut and style with both Shawn and Tami and they are both AMAZING stylists! My teenage daughters have become customers too and Tami and Shawn are both knowledgeable about current styles and colors that a mom could definitely freak out over.... but they have managed to find that delicate balance. I plan to be a customer there for many years to come because I have never been disappointed in any aspect of their service. the salon looks cute and professional. Do not get your hair styled by Mary. I have had a haircut nightmare by her. Lesson learned. She took away 1 year of growing my hair out in a few minutes. When I finally realized what she did I was in shock. i told her i was trying to keep my length and to trim the dead ends and to keep the layers. she decided that meant make new layers between 3-5 inches throughout. by far the worst haircut of my life and that's a understatement. sorry wish I had something better to say. I want to save someone else from having a oh my god what just happened to my hair moment. she was also late for theappointment and smells like cigarette smoke. Thanks Mary for temporarily running my hair and taking the past year away for me trying to grow it out. Only choice now is to cut it short in the back to somewhat make this look OK.
