I have struggled with negative body image issues my entire life. I have early childhood memories of people calling me the chubby one and to this day, I have to remind myself that these curves are a part of me and are sexy as hell. The whole experience made me feel more comfortable in my own skin. Kim, the makeup artist, really brings out your "vavoom." The makeup may look intense at first, but it really pops in the photos. And the hair is perfect to be tossed around for the sexy bed head effect. And the lashes are always so fun. So glad to have this additional professional edge. Monique was welcoming and makes you feel at home immediately. Of course, at the beginning it was a little weird trying to get into various poses, but after you laugh it off, it was all just so fun. She really knows how to pose you and how to toss your hair to make everything align for the perfect shot. I went in thinking I'd walk out with the 25-image package, but she took so many amazing photos, I couldn't narrow it down. I am so excited to see the finished products!

On the day of the trial I thought she would come to me, but that was not the case (oh no!). I was able to make it to her studio in time to still have my appointment which did not feel rushed at all despite me being late. She is knowledgeable about skin health and gave me great tips on making my skin look as healthy as possible for the wedding day. I do not usually wear makeup and loved the finished product. My husband on the other hand looked at me like I was a total stranger! The morning of the ceremony (which was VERY early in the morning) I asked her to lighten up the look so my husband could recognize me. She did a great job adjusting to my request.
