I was pissed and I had too cool off so It wouldn't be full of emotion. -TLDR 2015-2020 Loved this place but starting 2020 till 2023 they were fucking up by eyebrows more then doing them good. I started getting by eyebrows down at hair centric in 2015, LOVED it and was getting my eyebrows waxed CONSISTENTLY (as soon as they were started growing) done from the end of 2015 to mid 2018 and then I would let them grow back before I would get them waxed again. The first time they FUCKED up my eyebrows was 2020 right before the covid lockdown. and ever since then till I stopped going (Augest 2023) they were fucking up my eyebrows or almost letting me walk out with mismatched eyebrows unless I said something even if it was pretty obvious (I know eyebrows aren't going to be twin sisters but they were barley distance cousins) Why did I keep going? 5 years of them doing a great job and knowing other places close by didn't do a good job. They would also do a good job every once in a while so I would HOLD onto that hope but the last time I went they FUCKED up by eyebrow SOOO BAD I had to sit in the car until I stopped crying so I could drive home where I then cried the rest of the day. Even if I would make an appointment they would wait till I was there to heat up the wax so I would have to wait either way. They tried cancelling my appointment 4 minutes after the start time when I walked in at the 5 minute mark (only once did I not show up to an appoinment b/c I though I booked it for a Friday when I actually booked it on a Thursday and I called them to apologize, so it wasn't because I would not show up to appointments)

I booked a blowout with Emily for 4:30. Around mid-day she let me know she had a cancellation and was able to see me sooner. I moseyed on over to the salon around 3:30 and was welcomed by the team at the salon. Emily came out to greet me and we were off to the races! I have 24" hand-tied extensions so I was used to folks taking an hour and a half when it came to a blowout and curling my luscious locks. Emily went to work and I was done within an hour and it looked *so* good. Little did I know my $50 blowout would also come with a comedy hour. We laughed the entire session and let me tell you, I'm an awkward introvert but Emily is such a welcoming presence, I felt comfortable sharing my dark sense of humor from the get-go. Also where you place your hands was really dusty with nail particles that the salon doesn't stay on top of cleaning before you put your hands down- basically touching other peoples nail particles from filing. All gel products should be the same regardless if I brought a polish in or not. Responding to owner: "Secondary, I think my staff, Rachel, didn't rush on your manicure at all, she did take her time to remove a builder-gel on your nails which took longer than remove shellac/gel polish. My staff didn't charge extra for builder gel removal at all." -- thank you for confirming that was Rachel. Rachel thank you kindly for your time to remove my gel builder nail. -- I wasn't aware there were additional charge for removal of gel builder nail as it did not indicate on the site or the tablet provided at check in upon checking the "gel mani/pedi" options. -- While Rachel did patiently and successfully removed the gel builder off - the process of painting my nails were rushed when her next customer came in (as shown in the photos) and it wasn't sanded down evenly leaving some nails residues painted over, specs popped at the top when I mentioned it while there. Responding to owner: "She's still working on your nails calmly even thought her next appointment already showed. A manicure over an hour was not rush at all. Gel manicure is 30 minutes, but my staff spent an hour on your manicure we have to be fair about that." -- in my experience receiving a gel mani/pedi takes roughly 45 mins each set. I was surprised it was only a 30 min booking each set. My appointment was 4pm-5pm and I was there 4-5:25pm all together. It could have been 45 mins for the gel mani. Responding to owner: "If you can make a trip back to our shop, we will make it right for you." -- I appreciate it but no thank you, I don't I feel safe after witnessing the homeless/crazy guy that was let into the shop to use the restroom compromising everyone's safety including both customers and staff. -- and I had to purchase some equipment online to fix 4 nails on my hands that were chipped off/lumpy due to it being uncured/uneven finishes.
