This is a pretty average nail salon, plus a few hair stations and a wax station. The decor is pretty dated, and it could use more frequent cleaning. But I don't really care about the walls! Prices on pedis range from $25 up to $65. Upgrades include adding callus treatment, sea salt soak, mud mask, longer massage, etc. I wish they autoclaved their tools. They have fairly new massage chairs, which I appreciate. This helps when you're waiting 20 minutes for a technician. Today, my tech is Anna, who is friendly and capable. I did have to ask for a beverage. Here was my lite pedi for $25: Foot soak, polish removal, nail trim, file cuticle oil applied, cuticle push and trim, buff, pumice scrub on soles, paraffin wax (in bags), calf and foot massage, hot towel wipe, callus trim again, base coat, 2 color coats, 1 top coat. Highlights: She really did a great job on the cuticle trim, not shy at all. Revisited again just before polish too. Good attention paid to nail shape. Smooth polish application. Unfortunates: Massage was pokey, and she rubbed incessantly in between my toes. Hot towel wipe? Why not a leg wrap? She was kind of distracted, helping other techs and other clients while working on me. They have many manicure stations and offer acrylic, shellac, and regular polish. read more

I used to come to this salon all the time a few years back, but obviously things have changed. My latest experience will definitely be my last here. My friend and I both got gel manicures and left extremely disappointed. My nails are bumpy, gel polish all over my nail beds, and peeling one day after getting them. I had a total of seven coats of polish on my nails. My nail tech was very nice and polite but nothing was sanitary. The tools were not sanitized before use, she kept wiping her nose with her fingers then touching my hand, and my friends nail tech scraped off her old gel with his long finger nail after going outside for a smoke break and not washing his hands. It's the bare minimum to expect your nail salon to at least be sanitary and clean their tools between customers. I won't be back. read more

I have gone here before and had a nice pedicure. Today my young daughter and I went here, and it was not as good. 5.5 hours later, my feet are still hurting from the cuticle nipping. The lady I had didn't seem to do nail art, so she didn't even offer which bummed me out a bit. (I didn't catch any names unfortunately). The lady who did my daughters pedicure did a great job. She got offered nail art which I was happy for since it was her very first pedicure. But the lady who did her manicure did a terrible job. I get that she's a kid, but she didn't get a "real" manicure at all. The lady just pretty much grabbed her hands, filed almost nothing, and did a horrible polish job. The first time I went here was ok. Rose did a good job on a fill. So I returned with a friend. We got Anna and Liz. One nail had needed a repair which was understandable because I went way too long for a fill. When Anna put the new nail on she barely shaped it! That finger was basically square compared to the rest of my coffin shaped nails. I noticed the acrylic she was using was purple this time. When I asked why she ignored me twice. Finally the 3rd time I asked she said "Oh it's solar powder, $2 extra. Lasts longer/won't lift" I'm like ummm ok? I didn't ask for solar powder but if it was going to last longer I didn't complain even though that was sketchy. The next day one was broken. Two days later another broke. I thought about going in to get it repaired but I didn't want to go back after she had cut my finger 3 times. She was careless and talked to Liz the entire time in Vietnamese. Liz over charged my friend and we were not happy. They could tell by the tip we left. When Anna saw she was lucky enough to get 3$ she got up and left. Didn't put my nails in front of a fan to dry or anything. Literally just left me sitting there. I didn't tell them my bf was Vietnamese so I knew they were talking shit when she saw the tip. I am down to 3 broken nails only 5 days later and never coming back. If your looking for a new nail place, save yourself some time and look elsewhere. read more

I went for the first time and waited a few minutes even though everyone was sitting around. The nail tech spoke very very little English so we didn't speak at all. When she was about to be done I told her she had missed a coat on one hand (2 coats on one and 3 on the other). She didn't understand what I was saying so she asked for help from another person there. She didn't understand either, so I ended up with 3 coats and 4 on another. I went here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend who loved it. I used to go into Clackamas, but with gas prices so high I needed to find a place closer to me since I tend to be in Gresham a lot. I was warmly greeted and asked to sign in; I hadn't made an appointment. I saw people getting haircuts, pedicures, and manicures. Everyone seemed very friendly and I loved the decor. I was given a pedicure by a very nice young man who really knew what he was doing. He took a lot of time to make sure everything was done right. I was pleased with everything he did, and my toes now don't look raggedy anymore. I'd told him I had a sore place on my foot, and he wsa very gentle around that area. He made sure the water wasn't too hot, and was very considerate about my overall comfort. I met Anna, the owner of the shop, who asked my name and was so happy that I'd gone in. Yes, Vietnamese was spoken, but why not? They're Vietnamese! I grew up in a multi-cultural environment (Hawai'i) and hearing another language being spoken was perfectly okay among the workers there. They spoke English to me, so all was good. Prices are very reasonable, and I know I will be back. I'm frequently at the Safeway nearby and will schedule my next pedicure on a shopping day. One day My daughter and I were out shopping at Safeway and my Daughter who had it hair a haircut in 5 years decides to get a trim off the ends, The hard part of this is I had been diagnosed with cancer and she had taken care of me throughout the process, as a result at 15 she did not complete her 8th grade year. So now comes her freshman year and time for a trim. She sat down with an Asian hair dresser and explained she wanted a trim off the ends and some layers added to her hair, this lady said She understood and began cutting in the back Of her hair, meanwhile I am Getting a manicure with my back Turned. The lady cut 7 inches Off my daughters hair. My daughter was so upset she couldn't stop crying. All the people In the salon were looking at what a mess The lady had made of her hair, it was awful. Although I am not always in the area and go to other places on occasion, this is a place I will usually go out of the way for. Not only are they the highest quality beauty place I've been, they're the most consistent, as in consistently good. Even if I don't go in for months, they usually remember me. Sometimes, by name. The nail, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing is consistently great, which are the only things I've been in for, but everything else must be good too, because I see people who must be repeat customers. Sometimes they'll come in to get their hair cut, and ask for specific people. Also, there is a hair salon pretty much next door, so if that many people come in to get their hair cut, it must mean they're good at it. They have great massage chairs for the spa, a "menu" of pedicure choices to pamper you, complimentary wine or coffee, and fabulous quality pedicures, with friendly people. The pedicure station is set up with kind of a Hawaiian theme, it's cute, and relaxing. Also, it's a huge nail color selection, and salt scrub collection. Prices are also reasonable, and on par with other places I've been. I've seen cheaper, but when I used to get my nails done, no one could beat this place in nail perfection. read more

This spot is freaking awesome. I came here several times, and I was totally satisfied with what they did. The decoration is perfect, especially at Christmas time. All of the nail tech are so lovely, and each of them is very professional. My nails always looked nice after being done at Fashion Hair & Nail. I really love sitting in the pedicure chair because it's comfortable and relaxed. Such a modern chair that I have sat ever! As a server, I know that sometimes we can not please all of the requests of the customers, but I know that they already tried their best. I really tried giving this nail shop a fair chance to be CONSISTENT in their work - but to no avail. The ladies there are all good (mostly) but the work was so inconsistent. I would usually get the fill, wax and pedicure, but I never knew what I would be getting from visit to visit. Anna (I believe she's the owner) was probably the worst offender. She is friendly mostly, but could be very moody at times. I'm spending my money, I do not need you to be moody - seriously. If you're just desperate and happen to be in the area and REALLY need someone to work on your nails, then give them a try - just watch them to make sure you're happy with the end results. I've been going here since November, but today was the worst. I arrived 15 minutes early, no one said a word. Told the girl I just needed to have my roots done and a fill for my nails. She seemed irritated that I didn't want the highlights done again..had them done 4 weeks ago, and wasn't feelin' it. Sorry. while she is dying my hair, she gets a piece of hair fully covered in dye, in my eye...then admonished me for not keeping my eyes closed. Really? Then normally while I wait for the dye to take they do my nails...instead, the nail girl starts on someone who arrived 45 minutes after I did; who didn't have an appointment? Final straw...she gets the dye out of my hair and there's dye all along my hair line, AND she doesn't even OFFER to blow dry my hair...just takes off the cover and says..."you're done". NOT coming back...looking for a new place. read more

Got a mani pedi here on Friday morning, had to find a place since i did not get a chance to do mine in seattle for a wedding the next day. Staff is friendly and prices are cheap, but my nails were not cut correctly, the edges were not buffed and rounded to prevent my nails from poking my toe and finger nail beds. Idk how to describe it. But basically 3 days later, i have been feeling pain from the sides grinding against the sharp nails that were not cut and rounded out. I had to cut the corners of my toe nails and finger nails to relieve the pain and pressure. I did not get the girls name that did mine, she was younger, probably mid 20s. Unfortunately wont be back. It was a basic cleaning and polish done for $43 ($3 for your own file and buff bag). They dont even add any kind of salt in the water, no scent. Its $5 more for it. Not even that basic blue one other nail places put in. When the girl polished my nails, the polish would cover the skin under the nail tips, i had to ask her to clean a cuticle out because there was still skin hanging out. Whole experience felt cheap. Would not recommend them, it was careless in how she did the services. Havent experienced this poor of service at a nail salon in a while. Maybe it was just a bad technician, idk, but wont come back again. read more

They offer all different kind of services from hair to nails and wax . The gal that did my nails also offers Microblading eyebrows which I can use for myself. My husband couldn't be any happier with his haircut and he's very picky about his hair , my pedi and mani session was amazing, Leoni talked me into trying the new Vegan pedicure and I loved it .
