Disappointing stop for dinner. Maybe breakfast is better? I ordered the baked meat tortellini with meat sauce. It was supposed to come with a side salad or soup and garlic knots. I choose salad with vinaigrette. Waited 20 minutes, no salad. Meal came, still no salad, no garlic knots, no meat in the meat sauce, not baked, just microwaved until the slab of mozzarella on top was melted. When the wait staff finally checked on me, my dinner was almost gone and I asked about the sides that were on the menu with the dinner. She acted surprised and checked the receipt and offered to bring a to go container. I said I would prefer to have it there (we were traveling through and didn't want to bring a side salad in the car). I finished the meal with the salad. Still no garlic knots. Place is dingy, needs a deep cleaning and updated decor. The pasta wasn't terrible, just not what was on the menu. Tasted like the meat tortellini you buy at the freezer section of Walmart. My husband asked me to find a diner on our cross country road trip and this was a loss on the scoreboard. I'm not picky, but this was not a positive experience. If you are local, I'm sure there are hidden gems on the menu, but we won't be back. read more

There is a grilled vegetable plate with a balsamic glaze. Yum. Real cream of potatoe soup with bacon. The chicken francese sauce was delicious and there are two breasts. For dessert I selected Tiramisu which was an authentic Italian dessert. read more

Stopped at Isabella's traveling thru PA. Fresh breakfast ..2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, rye toast and hot vanilla tea. All was excellent. Excellent service and my order took all of about 10 minutes to arrive at my table from being seated. Stopped here on a road trip and it exceeded my expectations! Food was excellent, large portions and very reasonably priced. Most meals about $10. Inside was clean and cozy. The lady serving was so kind and personable. Would absolutely stop here again and recommend if you're traveling down 84. read more

If you've driven across PA the long way, you may know that there are not a lot of options for food except fast-food chains. We happened upon this place, but didn't see any reviews. We took a chance, and I'm glad we did. Megan was an excellent server, and took care of the whole diner. She made some recommendations and brought the food quickly. It was seemingly pretty basic, but had all the right flavors. Be careful with the "side" of waffle fries... they are huge. Cool, cozy spot inside. If you are looking for a quick bite on the endless drive, Isabella's beats the chain options, hands down. read more

Stopped at Isabella's Eatery for breakfast while traveling on Rte 84 and we will definitely be back when in the area. The coffee was great, eggs were cooked perfectly and the ham was delicious. We were getting takeout from Isabella's fairly frequently when they first opened and loved the food. We would usually get either pizza or burgers. We were excited that there was really good pizza someplace so close to our house. After a few months, I think they started par-baking the pizzas, so the pepperoni is always almost raw when you pick up your pizza. After two pizzas with raw pepperoni, we quit going back. We had a party of six driving through PA on 84 and Isabella's came up as we were looking for a place to eat on the way to Pittsburgh. This was the best stop ever! Amy, our waitress, was super friendly and accommodating for our large party! The. Food. Was. Amazing. Three of us had the chicken and dumpling soup which was hearty, flavorful and not salty at all! Three of us had the chicken cheese steaks which are quite large! They all had them with the toppings that come on the steak and cheese (banana peppers, cheese, sautéed onions, mushrooms and lettuce and tomato) and they were delicious! One ordered the chicken Marsala special - the best Marsala sauce I've ever had (and the garlic knots that came with it were wild!). The grilled Reuben was tender and perfectly grilled. I had the eggplant amore wrap and the eggplant was EXCELLENT but I didn't love the prosciutto - the chewy nature of prosciutto made it difficult to bite through so I pulled it all off and ate it separately. We had two sides of fries - one would have been plenty but we polished them all off. They were my favorite, crinkle cuts, and were super crispy and just the right amount of greasy! I ate more than I should have. The dessert cooler held some amazing looking treats but we were all SO FULL! Not only outstanding food but the total bill was so reasonable we double-checked to make sure something wasn't missing. Amy was excellent - she took great care of us and we plan to stop on our way back East! Definitely a must try! Sadly, we were all so ravenous, we took no pictures! read more

We love the food There are a couple of setbacks. Loud music from the kitchen and in the summer there are flies which could be taken care of by installing a screen door. The cooks keep it open back there we were told. The waitresses are great! read more
