Burger and fries. Say yes to the fries.
Andrena F.

Stayed at this Marriott for work and a quick decent meal was the only thing on my mind at 7:30pm after a long drive. Let's start with the good. Marriot consistently provides a good burger and this one didn't disappoint. It was exactly what I expected. The fries however were much MUCH more! Say yes to the garlic parmesan fries. Just say YES! Say no to the chicken lemongrass pot stickers. Everything about that dish is weird. Not inedible but just weird. Why are they on a mandarin orange and craisen salad? Why? Bar folks were also friendly and attentive.

First time back here since covid, and been looking forward to it. Upon entering the first thing…read morewe noticed was how hot it was inside. They sat us in a corner, no breeze and learned their AC and fan has been broken for years. Couple next to us sat down said its too hot and left in less than a minute. We stuck it out and was glad we did. Their take on an amaretto sour was very tart and vibrant, a new favorite. Reisling was nice and sweet. Main course was papardelli, fresh pasta. Fully enjoyed that. Friday special ia chicken parm, was cooked nicely. However when we discussed dessert we just were too hot to have another drink and have dessert which is a shame. Not sure why they haven't fixed this know air issue, they are loosing sales.... What kept it 4 star for us was the wait staff. Jordan was extremely friendly and efficient, as well as the other staff that took care of us. Would love to go back, but maybe in late fall/winter unless they fix their fan/ac issue.

But, I wasn't blown away by any of the courses, unfortunately. The only dish that stood out as being really good were the rice balls. Everything else was just average-and that makes me really sad because I have been looking to try this place FOREVER, especially since we had our wedding reception at their sister restaurant that closed almost twenty years ago--and their food blew me away. Collectively, we ordered calamari- bland, arancini-delicious, crispy eggplant-bland and dry. I ordered the crab agnolotti which was just, well.... bland. My mom's salmon seemed to be cooked well, we asked for medium and that's what she got. The tiramisu was good, and I am not generally a fan. The mocktail that ordered-basil gimlet was a nice balance of sweet and sour. Overall, really giving it a 3.5 but based upon comparison to my other 4 star ratings, I had to bring it down a bit. An overall nice experience, but since the food is the star... I'm not sure if I will return.

I loved the atmosphere; it felt warm, cozy, and like just the place you'd want to spend an evening in October. Service was very friendly! Lots of smiles and suggestions about the menu. My friend and I ordered the skillet honey butter cornbread, the mini tacos, and the devils on horseback- bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese!! Yum! There was honestly no favorite amongst them- each one was perfect. We cleaned all three plates! Overall, the Rocky Hill Inn was worth the 45 minute drive. I'll be dreaming of my next trip here until then!

The French onion soup is just as good and one of the best in the area. It's so good we had it when it was over 95° degrees outside and still worth it. They've changed the chicken meatballs in the last 2 years since I've been there - much less slaw (which was a unique highlight). These were dry and tasted overcooked and tough. My chicken Milanese was also overcooked and tough. The chicken was right at that cusp of brown to burnt with some pieces being burnt and difficult to chew. My husband's fried chicken from his sandwich (much much thicker piece of chicken) was fine so it makes me wonder if it was cooked at the same time. The prices are still reasonable for a nicer pub / gastropub which is appreciated.

I get it, diners in this zip code love to recreate their adventures across countless European capitals as they sip expensive aperitifs and coffee concoctions believing they're within a stones throw of the 6th arrondissement in Paris. When I'm getting sunstroke sitting five feet away from a lovely half-filled air conditioned interior I completely empathize with that panting Poodle sitting one table over whose owners while away the time while poor little Siegfried melts under his fur. Next time I'll grow a spine provided it's not completely fused from this visit to Hades. The Witherspoon Grill is terrific, I have no one to blame but myself.

Friends picked us up at the Princeton Junction train station and drove into Princeton. We had lunch at Witherspoon, one of their favorites, before heading to the Princeton University Art Museum. My friend and I shared the grilled shrimp salad, and they kindly split it in the kitchen for us. Hardly any black beans, at least in mine, but two large shrimp (one of my favorite oxymorons!) and lots of shredded romaine, topped with about half a sliced avocado. Came with a creamy dressing on the side, no great shakes to me but my friend loved it. My husband had a whole grilled shrimp salad to himself, ignored the dressing, and really liked the salad. Our other friend had 2 appetizers as his meal - lobster bisque and a poke cup that was on the menu as a tuna martini, or something like that. Cute title. Two of us had unsweetened iced tea, one had a cup of hot water. My iced tea was good, our friend got a refill of his. I'm not sure if he was charged for it but I don't think so. We passed on dessert, went later for ice cream. Enjoy!

This quaint restaurant has an outdoor patio with seating, and some tables and high tops inside with a full bar. and their menu is simple and delicious. Dinky's doesn't take reservations. They only accept walk-ins. We had a fun server named Conner. He made great suggestions, especially for cocktails and food choices. We both started with their Pear Paloma-tequila, pear, cardamom, lime, grapefruit soda. It was refreshing and good. It was the perfect drink to try. We were looking to get a quick bite just to tie us over. This place came recommended by a close friend. We ordered a few appetizers. Spicy Tuna Roll- tuna, spicy mayo, masago, scallion, sambal, eel sauce, sesame seeds add avocado + $1, add pickled mango + $1 I chose the mango for a twist. It was fresh and delicious. We also ordered a California Roll- kani, cucumber, avocado, nori, sushi rice, sesame seeds. You can add pickled mango + $1 or avocado for + $1. We added the mango for a twist. It was very good. Next time I come I want to try their Buttermilk Fried Chicken Bao Buns-sriracha slaw, house made pickled cucumber, micro cilantro, asian glaze. It looked so good. There was a couple sharing our high top and they ordered several orders of these and they told us it's a must try. I would've ordered more food, but we were going to another place and I didn't want to fill up. The staff is very nice here all very friendly and welcoming. There's no children's menu. This place is a bit small so I don't recommend it for young children and it would be difficult for handicapped unless you're able to get a table outside. We will definitely be back.
