We come here once or twice a year and generally give their food quality high marks especially for a national chain. However, I'm a music guy so the loud "club" channel playing in the foreground was an interesting choice -- especially given the fleet of ancient mariners who frequent the place. Also, it seems the actual dinner plates have gotten smaller, perhaps to make the portions seem larger. However, I was far too busy twerking to ask. Stellar service keep them at a four. read more

Great place to dine. Bonefish has always been a hit for me. The ambiance is so elegant and fancy. It is a bit dark inside but it adds to the ambiance. They always have good music playing that isn't too loud so that you can still have a conversation with your companions. The service was impeccable as well. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. There was an alarm sound ringing the entire time and she was able to explain the reason for the alarm and reassured us that everything was okay in the restaurant. The food was great. I ordered two drinks (wish I had pictures) which were a pomegranate martini, and a rum coconut refresher. The martini was delicious. It is never too sweet or too bitter. The refresher was great as well as it wasn't too sweet. For my entree I ordered the Atlantic salmon with a mango salsa with sauteed spinach and garlic potatoes. The salmon was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning. The spinach and garlic potatoes were delicious as always. Overall, it was a great experience. I recommend going to Bonefish for a date night or just to meet up with friends. You will have a great time. Cheers! read more

This location is a hit or miss. Never have I had a consistent experience. At times, the steak and seafood are fresh, and times like last night - I had to send the steak back because it tasted and smelt bad. The service is also good and bad, depending on your waitress and/or the bartender. For a Friday night, I was the only soul in there at 10pm. Pretty depressing how dead it was since they have a descent bar and the restaurant itself is set up nicely. Booths and bar, both clean. read more

Shout out of Cathy for being awesome!! She was very helpful and just pure fun. We went for happy hour and was quite impressed by variety. The drinks were actually really good. I can drink 10 of the blueberry lemon drops. Highly recommend if you like citrus drinks. For food, we got the tuna wonton, fried pickles, cauliflower bites and grilled shrimp from the main menu. I loved the fried pickles and the sauce it came with. The tuna was really good, my partner loved it. The cauliflower was standard, just not super crispy. I always get the side of shrimp at BG. It's a must with a lemon. Please go here and ask to be seated in Cathy's section. She is awesome. But in general, staff at this location is always very attentive and awesome. read more

Nice interior, but the food fell well below the expected quality. The crispy calamari was terrible--not fresh, dry, and reheated. The pan-Asian butterfish was acceptable, though I could tell it had been cooked while not fully defrosted. The greens were over-salted. The service was standard. This was very different from my previous experience at another location.. read more

Superb place, service, food and atmosphere! My family member and I relished the breads, the fish and chips, the salads, and the Italian dish that we ordered when we had a family outing for a special occasion. The bread dip was also exquisite. The music could have been softer, and less in your face, however, since conversations are even more sacred nowadays. I was amazed at the courtesy of each of the service personnel. Even when it was a busy time, the restaurant staff went out of their way to find us a comfortable and friendly table. Since our favorite dad-memorable restaurant used to be Red Lobster in Texas, this might be my new favorite replacement for that classic restaurant. Good place for an outing locally. read more

The service here was unbeatable! Our server was super attentive, I believe his name was Seth. The food was delicious. The drinks were a bit sweet but we'll 100% be returning. The happy hour is a great deal. The restaurant was nice and quiet as well with outdoor seating available. read more

I went for lunch and had the fish and chips, and the corn chowder crab soup, it was not a good experience.. what I didn't eat I took home. I expected to have the rest for dinner, well that was a big mistake. That fish was no longer crispy it was very soggy, the coating on the fish you could literally shake the fish out of the coating. The fries were very salty, the coleslaw was dry, the tartar sauce had no tast. I'm so surprised they had stayed in business as long as they have. The meal was an embarrassment read more

I enjoy coming here for lunch and dinner to order their scallops and shrimp skewer meal from the wood fired grill section of the menu. Note that it is not on the skewer but cooked that way and is delicious! An excellent sauce on the side is the pan Asian sauce and is a must have with this meal. The jasmine rice and coleslaw are great sides to get with the meal. Their coleslaw is one of my favorites as it has a decent amount of vinegar, but in a very good way. Their bang bang shrimp is very yummy and I highly suggest it! The decor inside is very romantic and a great date vibe. There are many booths, tables and chairs, and high tops with one side a booth and the other side a chair and the seat cushions are quite comfortable. There is also a nice bar. The temperature in this restaurant is a hit or miss. Many times it's been so cold everyone in the restaurant was eating with their jackets on, so we had to tell them to turn the heat up because it was so uncomfortable. Another downside is that this specific location must have a sewage issue with the bathroom because the smell from the bathroom leaks out into the back portion, and sometimes middle, of the restaurant. I am talking BAD...dirty diaper/toilet smell. I have no idea what is going on, but I would highly recommend not sitting at the back of the restaurant. I have eaten next door at another eating establishment and have not ever smelled this, so not sure what's going on at Bonefish. Nonetheless, the food here is excellent and service is great. The servers are all very friendly and attentive. The manager, Dan Rosenbaum, is very kind and always stops to say hi and check on how your meal is if he is in. I'd actually like to highlight that the reason I ever came here in the first place is that Bonefish Grill volunteered to cater a wonderful walk for a cause, Walk 4 Hearing, at the Mercer county park. They gave out platters with salmon and potatoes and it was outstanding. Dan gave his card out and a few coupons, and since I enjoyed the salmon meal so much I decided to give them a try in the restaurant. I have been back so many times since, so much that the staff, and Dan, know me by face now. I will surely be back soon! read more

Second time getting fish fry takeout. 12 small fries Included. That's it. Fish was a little too greasy and a little too doughy. Ordered side of fries and hardly anything in there. $5 for burnt nubs and a few fries. Pick up was quick but took far too long to make change for cash. read more

I generally stray away from chain restaurants, but Bonefish Grill is one of the few that usually can lure me in. Their fish entrees are good and I've had their specials of the day, which have "wowed" me. Delicious fresh baked bread accompanied by a pesto oil dipping sauce is complimentary with every meal. The bread is awesome and the pesto sauce is good too. For dinner, I have ordered the Tilapia Imperial (among my favorites), Wild Blackened Snapper Special, Pineapple Glazed Shrimp (a special of the day and it was fabulous), Cod, Fish and Chips, Crabcakes, Ahi Tuna, among others. All of our meals have been on the delicious side Service, overall, has been great. Our wait staff are personable, professional and helpful. As an added touch, leftovers were packed in container with a fish head drawn on it. Cute! read more

Ok, now I'm really not coming back to this establishment. Sat at the bar for over 30 minutes and was never offered water after being served food. We had scallops and shrimp with a side of string beans and coleslaw. The food was very good. There are five sauces available for the shrimp. The bread was warm with butter. The service was ok. The food came out before we received the bread. There are tables inside and outside. There are plenty of booths available. This is our second year visiting this location. This particular time, we sat two booths from the restroom. There was a terrible smell coming from the restroom. The smell was so bad that we had to hold our hand's over our nose. There were patrons is the booth in front of ours who also commented about the smell as well. It appeared the bathroom floors were washed with dirty water. Honestly, it smelled like sewage. We will return but won't sit in the bathroom section. read more

We had not been to a Bonefish Grill in several years and were pleasantly surprised as to how good the food was when we went recently. And the service was top notch. Prices were very reasonable and the ambiance was great. We did not have mixed drinks, so can't comment on that, but we will be back, read more

Had a Sunday nite dinner at the bar. The restaurant was very quiet. The bang bang shrimp were crispy, with spicy mayo sauce and lettuce on the bottom. The fried fish was very crispy and battered just right, the coleslaw needed more acidity. The fish taco needed more fish fillings and french fries were salty. Our draft beer came out very nice and cold. read more

My wife and I love Bonefish Grill. The menu offers a wide variety, and the food is expertly prepared. We stopped here for dinner and sat at the bar. Julia was our bartender and she was friendly and attentive. They have a special 2 dinners for $45 deal which caught our eye because it included key lime cake for dessert. We decided to try that and I ordered mahi and he ordered the bone-in pork chop. It included huge salads, I had house and he had Caesar. My mahi was very juicy and the mango salsa really had a kick. The broccoli and jasmine rice were nothing special but both the mahi and the pork chop were delicious and cooked perfectly. We took the Key Lime cake to go, and once Julia found out we still had 3 hours to go, she gave us some waters in to-go cups. We ate the cake later at our hotel and WOW, it was the best part of the meal. We fought over the better bites and wished we had another slice. read more

Came here for lunch today and had an OK time. We were seated immediately and service was excellent throughout the meal. I was particularly impressed that the bread was basically ready for us as we sat down! Speaking of which, the bread and olive oil were delicious - I almost ate it all but managed to restrain myself so I had some room for the main course :) I ended up getting the sirloin and crab cake duo (with broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side) while my wife got the parmesan crusted rainbow trout. My meal was honestly a little disappointing - the crab cake wasn't super flavorful and fell a little flat, and the sirloin was cooked to the right temperature but just didn't taste that great. The broccoli was basically just steamed with salt and maybe pepper, something I respect (a healthy side should actually be healthy!) but I do think they could have elevated it in some way. The potatoes were good. My wife had similar feelings about her trout (OK but not excellent). Our meals were not cheap, either, so that kind of added insult to injury. The beer selection was pretty limited, which I found disappointing. The menu advertised local drafts but when I asked our server about them, there was only one "local" option and it was a super common beer. Overall, not sure I would come back to this location. read more

Bonefish is one of the few chains I will frequent. Sat at the bar as it has a cool vibe to it. The bartender served the bar area as well as the bar tables. He was very attentive and very pleasant. Started out with some of their cocktails, I had their new French 75 cocktail. It was very refreshing, but if you don't like gin, you won't like this, as the gin flavor is strong. My friend got the crushed pineapple martini. It was also very refreshing but also very sweet. I ended up getting just the shrimp skewers with seasonal vegetable and jasmine rice. The shrimp was grilled just right with just the right amount of seasoning. Couldn't finish all the shrimp but didn't feel over the top full which is good. read more

I asked for a Sangria and i wanted 1/2 the ice because they filled the entire glass with ice on my first orders. Apparently if you ask for 1/2 the ice they give you 1/2 the sangria. Stumbled on this restaurant by accident while traveling through the area. Outstanding food with exceptional service! We got the AHI TUNA NACHOS (Diced raw ahi tuna, korean sesame-chili ponzu, scallions, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, wasabi aioli, torreados, wonton chips.) for an appetizer. One of the best appetizers I ever ate. A great flavor combination on so many levels. We orderes TOKYO TACO (Tuna, wasabi aioli, pickled ginger, cabbage, terunagi sauce, sesame seeds.) and the Scallop Taco Special. Both were absolutely fantastic! The tacos came with thin cut fries with special secret seasoning which to me seemed to be salt, sugar, and a little cinnamon. Once you start eating them you just can not stop. Even better than the food was our server, Karim, who made us all feel like we had been friends for years. He was extremely friendly and personable with an extensive knowledge of the menu and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this location! read more

My fiancé and I came here for a casual date night. I'm torn about my impression of this bonefish grill. We typically don't dine at this chain, but we decided to give it a try since we had a gift card. Here's what I loved: the ambiance, the drinks, the bread, and the appetizers. (Not necessarily in that order) Here's what I didn't love: the not so pleasant attitude of the hostess, the paper table coverings, the cramped spacing of the tables. (In that order) Here's what I'm uncertain of: the entrees- I neither love nor dislike them. I just feel eh. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. I ordered the Risotto Del Mar. I wouldn't get it again, but I would like to give them another try with a different selection. read more
