We were a large group found a table in the back and it was awesome!! The Reuben and tater tots were spot on!! The DJ made it so awesome and engaging. The entertainment might not the best but he will get you laughing and play some songs you definitely won't hear anywhere else. Very crowd and load, so it can take a minute to move around and get your drinks not many places to sit so you'll be on your feet. This spot was unexpectedly fun. Wandering around, we stumbled in and found a bar full of jolly people from around the world wanting to be Irish. Fun place with lots of live entertainment! It's a party in this place at all times. Great sing along and people having a great time. If downstairs is crazy, there's an upstairs area that was totally empty. The drinks were great and they had the best fried pickles I have ever had!!! Do not skip these. They are beyond delicious and the portion is HUGE. The fish and chips are also tasty. Jenny the bartender was amazing and so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We stopped by Irish Kevin's bar and restaurant because there was loud laughing, energetic dancing, and good music and it looked like a fun place! It was packed on a Friday night. We found a place to sit and were served fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Our server was Lara, who was very friendly and fun. We ordered a couple of drinks and those were good. We didn't order food because we got there at 11pm when they stop serving food. They also have a gift shop for souvenirs. You can reserve the upstairs for private parties. It's a large place. There is live entertainment every night. We loved the gorgeous chandelier! We would definitely return next time we are in Key West! read more

Great sing a long rock and roll where they encourage drunk customers to come up on stage to help sing or do something funny. Nothing fancy at all, lots of wooden tables. Irish Kevin's Key West 4-30-25 Stopped by Irish Kevins on a Wednesday afternoon about 3pm. This place was not that full, but they did have someone on stage singing which is some of the reason we stopped by. I wanted a Reuben which had Corn Beef, Sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, Thousand Island Dressing on a Toasted Rye. I got a side of Coleslaw to go with it. My friend got a Burger and all the works on it and a side of Fries. We sat at the bar and our ordered came out in a reasonable time. My Reuben was amazing, it was so good. Even the Coleslaw was terrific. This order came with a large pickle spear even that was good. My friends Burger and Fries were very good. All our food was hot and very tasty. The only thing we did not care for was the entertainer on the stage. The guy singing sang a bunch of filthy songs. I figured as talented as he seemed he did not need to do that. Live singer was good - range of songs and took requests - cover songs like Bon Jovi. Nice entertainer!! So I wasn't a fan of the fish and chips. Not chips and the fish was not cod or even grouper - bland. But they did have malt vinegar so I gulped it down. It was tasty, and we ended up drinking and singing along to the tunes. Funny story, I was one of the managers who helped construct this bar however, it was under a different name and that was 25 years ago. Things have changed. A lot of things are not the same but a lot of things really are. It's kind of weird to walk in there and know that I physically Helped put in that cabinet and hey, I decided that the stage goes in this location. I have to say that the people who bought it and turn it into Irish Kevins are doing a much better job than the last people who owned it. They understand that Duval Street needs a bar with shots and live musicians who can engage the crowds. I've been in here at least 50 times, the food is adequate, sometimes it's even good. The atmosphere is just what you're looking for in that location. The drinks are good, the staff is well trained. The entertainment is always on point. This is always a stop on our Duval crawl. read more

In all honesty, this review is not of the food and beverages here, but of the live music and the energetic atmosphere. My niece and I were walking around Duval street in Key West, enjoying the live music and noise from all the pubs, when we came across Irish Kevin's. The mood here was easily 500 times more cheery and fun and we couldn't help and walk in. The pub was completely full and we just managed to get a couple of stools. The reason was mainly the singer and performer. He got the crowd engaged, made us all sing along, welcomed everyone that stepped in and generally made sure we were all having fun! I plan to go back tonight as well. From the look on the faces of the others, I'd say the food and beverages were not disappointing, neither was the service. Totally recommended! read more

This is one of my top 3 late night bars...Been to Irish Kevin's numerous times while bar hopping on Duval Street in Key West. It boasts a massive bar top with plenty of tables and seats. Plenty of liquor choices, but would hope they increase their craft beer selection. Never ate here so no food review. At night the bar has incredible musicians playing folk and classic rock and roll tunes. They have some seating in the front for great people watching on the Duval strip. Very much a FUN Irish pub with live music! Very quick and simple menu of bar options- the fries are delicious, so are the soft pretzel sticks! The drink options are fun - their punch option was fruity and definitely a must try. They only have Kermit's key lime pie for dessert so that was a tiny bit of a disappointment but it is key west so others probably love this! Service is quick despite it being so busy! While on a cruise with my girlfriends, my one friend (who'd been to Key West a handful of times) insisted we stop in at Irish Kevin's, and I'm glad we did. We needed a chance to cool down with a few beers, and a perk was that they had a live musician playing. A very friendly guy who took our song suggestions (Rattlin' Bog to name one), it gave the entire place a great atmosphere and everyone joined in the fun. We didn't get any food while we were there but we definitely made some great memories. Great Irish bar. We had just come from another bar nearby, which was not fair, as that place was amazing as well. I would normally give this place a five star rating, but after crazy amazing service and eating at the prior bar I feel that wouldn't be fair. This place was pretty cool and it's actually near Sloppy Joe's. So all we did was walk to it to have a drink. I had their famous Green Gator drink. Not bad, kind of sour but only had one. The service was top notch. I even ended buying a t-shirt from them as a souvenir and got to keep my cup. Maybe next time I come I'll try something to eat.
