Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new ownership and management has been completely different. I took my car in for what should have been a routine oil change, and that was the beginning of a series of problems. After the service, I started experiencing issues with my vehicle that I had never experienced before. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing to see a business I had trusted for more than two decades provide such a poor level of service. I contacted the new owner to explain the problems I was having. He told me he was busy helping other customers and said he would call me back. Unfortunately, he never did. That lack of follow-up and professionalism was especially disappointing after being a loyal customer for so many years. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and, sadly, I will not be returning to Metro Champion. It is unfortunate to see the level of service and professionalism decline so significantly after more than 20 years of trusting this shop with my vehicles.

I have always gone with independent shops when I couldn't fix something myself and my vehicle is off-warranty. North Texas British is a standout. There is plenty of parking and was never a wait the three times I visited. You know you're in the right place when the owner has a heavy British accent. I start out telling them the issues I have with my current rig. They already know what's wrong with it before I finish. Then, I end up staying a while shooting the Rover-stories with "the boys" pretending I'm one of them. Super nice gentlemen. They replaced my air bellows/struts for 1/2 the price of the dealer. They replaced fuses for free that two Dallas dealerships told me would cost over $750. The replaced a seatbelt buckle for $240 that the dealer was going to charge $875. I just had my tire sensors replaced a week ago at a national dealer and they lost my wheel lug key. North Texas British had one sitting around the shop and just gave it to me. And they had it done in 48 hours! What's not to love? I have done business with another independent here in Dallas, that shall not be named. My experience with them was adequate, but the guys at NTB make you feel like home and "comfortable." Thanks fellas. See ya next time, hopefully not too soon.

I feel as though I was overcharged for all the services total at JC Auto, but completely ignored the possibility of it being a catalytic converter that could have solved my issue in the first place. $3,000 later spent at JC Auto and still left with the same problems, then $1,800 at another shop to replace the catalytic converter and solved the entire issue. I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here for more serious repairs since it seems like that's just not something they have experience with.

Ok so here it goes, my 24 year old daughter who lives out in Texas was celebrating her birthday on…read moreApril 5th and suddenly she comes out of a store near Lewisville and her radiator fluid was leaking, she had her car towed to Garage 62, Wassim the owner on a Sunday took her call and accepted the 2016 VW Tiguan in. As her Dad out here in Southern California of course i was helping her through this and talked to him on the phone about what the problem was, he said it was $80 to diagnose the issue and that would be applied to the labor and part total cost. I said no problem, he then said it was the water pump and gave me a final cost of $900.00 including the pump to replace it. I then immediately checked around and the nearest shop around was considerably more so I decided to go with Garage 62. He then promised to use the top of the line pump and as promised he sent me pictures of the part before install and on Tuesday evening he had finished all the work and my daughter went over to pick up the car. As requested he put all used parts in a box and gave them back to her and test drove the car prior to handing it off. My daughter said it looked and ran fine and that the temp gauge was where it should be at, he also included all radiator fluid. He did require half of the 900.00 up front for parts and some labor and I was a bit skeptical at first to give that but in the end he did a fine job. From here on out I will have Wassim work on her car for oil and maintenance. Wassim likes to text more than talk over the phone due to his English but I was ok with that.
