Waited nearly two hours tonight (January 19 2026) for a take out order of a couple steaks and a couple appetizers. The girl bartender had attitude over the phone so came in person to order and the attitude wasn't any different. We've been coming here for nearly a decade and staff has always been friendlier and served us a lot faster on larger orders. Bet the food is as cold as Alaska when I get back from the 7 minute commute read more

OK, so I tried to write a review before and my voice text didn't capture anything I wrote. Long story short this place is fucking rules. Food rules. Everything rules. Go there now. 10 out of 10. read more

Came to do some karaoke on the Sunday before MLK day. My friends and I had so much fun! It was fairly busy, but everyone was super friendly and my friends and I got to sing a bunch! The DJ even let us do a lot of musical theatre, which isn't always the case for bars in LA. The drinks were STRONG, whew, but we had the absolute best time! Highly recommend you come her the next time you want to karaoke on a Sunday. read more

Amazing food, great people, obviously good drinks as well. People hanging around the bar were welcomed in like family. A great place to be if you're looking for a bit of pub culture in your life. read more

Stopped for lunch about 3pm. Dining section empty, so sat at the bar and ordered fish and chips. Terribly overcooked, very very dark brown, edged in black. Fries crunchy, way past crispy. Cook should have noticed, server should have noticed, bartender should have noticed. I was between errands so I ate it, no time to send it back and wait for another order. Edible but fish was dried out. I didn't order a bar drink. Could that have been the problem? Obviously catered to regulars. Never had this issue at the Robin Hood up the street. read more

Just literally the best. The food is to die for, the staff is amazing, the music is 5 nights a week, and the atmosphere is very "Cheers". Cannot recommend enough. read more

I know we were there in between hours,we order the fried fish which it was over cooked, actually burnt in the outside,it wasn't like British style cooking, very disappointing,we eat it because we were hungry and my wife who happens to have a medical condition, needed to eat right away, the lady bartender was very accommodating, ambiance was good,I enjoyed their margaritas background music read more

they need more than 1 bartender on Tuesday nights because I'm not waiting more than 10 minutes to get a drink at 10:30pm. On a Tuesday.

Very friendly staff DJ is great. People are amazing. I would definitely go again and I definitely refer people to go there

9/6/25: sighhhh I really wanted to love this place. As a bar, absolutely do love it. Super friendly bartender and the customers were very welcoming! Because of medication I take I can't drink, but we went to order dinner. Need to know: there's no servers here. You order your food with the bartender. He hands you a menu and once you've looked it over you tell him what you want. Then go find a table. I ordered the shepherds pie, which, although absolutely looked like the cook took care in preparing it, was very bland. My husband's cheesesteak sandwich had quite a bit of burned meat, so he couldn't eat much of it. We won't be back, but not because the place wasn't a great hang out with nice people- they have that in abundance! Went for food and wasn't impressed. read more

Great place to go for a black and tan. Also good fish and chips. I've always been there to listen to some great music. Highly recommend Teresa James, and the Rhythm Tramps read more

I wish I would listen to myself and stop going to these Americanized "Irish" establishments. I admit I'm a snob because I've been blessed enough to go to Ireland. I keep checking out these kinds of places and they're always so disappointing. Let's start with the service. We walked in and saw a bartender and some groups of people seated at the bar. The rest of the place was empty. We weren't greeted at all and we sat at a table for quite a while before we realized that we had to place our order with the bartender. We ordered a Guinness and the appetizer sampler. Our picks were mozzarella sticks, fries, chicken tenders, and the sliders. The Guinness was delicious; the food was mid. All I tasted was salt. No real flavor, just salt. The ambiance didn't feel Irish at all. 80s music was playing. Unless I'm missing something here?? I guess if you haven't been to Ireland or you don't care too much about that kind of thing, maybe you'd love this place. But even if it was a regular type of establishment, it was still very sub par. read more

I really enjoyed this pub! Drinks are good, happy hour is from 4-6 and belive it or not they have really good tacos, great for taco tuesday. The staff is also really friendly, as a POC sometimes i'm nervous about going into certain bars but i felt welcomed! read more

Fantastic neighborhood spot! These types of places are few and far between in L.A. so it's always a pleasure to stumble on one. Came for the Blue Travelers band and now I'm definitely a fan of both the band and the establishment. Great crowd of folks who know how to work a dance floor. The fish and chips were delicious and it definitely has me interested in trying the rest of the menu. read more

My girlfriends recently took me there for post-dinner birthday drinks. I get that it's a Saturday night but when the male bartender, Mo, has to apologize for the drunk female(we saw her taking shots of jaeger)bartender it's just bad. It's loud, lot's of old people, and really bad "blues" music. I hear the food is good. Also, the whole MAGA crowd vibe was too much. read more

Love coming here, such a great atmosphere. People here are so nice. Food has gotten a lot better over the years too. They changed the fries from a seasoned bunch to In-n-out style fries cooked to a superior quality. I suppose if I had to say something bad is that with all the smoking, alcohol, and high fat food, health & fitness dies here but that's all besides the point of coming here. Hell just hang out and drink water if you want. read more

If I could give them a 6, I would! The food is excellent and the bartenders are amazing !

Hey, this place is the best value in the valley live music five nights a week friendly going back in time

Cassidy and Rafa have revolutionized this kitchen! The food is amazing! We live in the hood and always stop by here "for one" on the way home. We now go out of our way to stop and eat here too. Family vibes. Neighborhood Peeps. Friendly bartenders Alan, Mo, Crystal, Lindsay, Rocky!! The BEST neighborhood bar. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered to go. Corn beef / cabbage plate and sandwich. Corn beef was moist and delicious. Would have liked bigger portions of veggies though? Other family member gave thumbs up on the sandwich. Would visit again to order more off the menu. Had a Guinness while awaiting on my order and in celebration of being St. Patrick's Day. Bartenders very hospitable and making sure you were taken care of. Being St.Paddy's day a full house. Probably occupancy limit of 75? Stools at the bar. Standing room only that I could see for rest of bar? Live band did entertain. Enjoyed my 1st visit and positively more visits. read more

An absolute 5-star dive bar with great pub food, and the ghosts of 1970s cigs wafting up from the floorboards embracing you into that familiar vintage retro headspace. Super friendly bar staff and regulars and a fun wifi-powered jukebox as well. Guinness was a perfect pour, fish and chips were just the right percentage salty, crunchy, tart and savory ... but the full order with two hugegantic hunks of fish was more than enough (we'll go for the half next time) We will definitely be back for the live music and the steak and/or burger because it all looked so good ! read more

I came here for st Patrick's day and it was packed, which with a name like irelands you would Expect that. I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people in the venue and there was a huge line to get in. The staff was lovely, super patient and friendly. They had anticipated the amount of people coming because they had Porto potties outside and they were relatively clean. The drinks were pretty well priced and I'm sure on a normal day it would be a cool place to hang. read more

Good Guinness. The music is pretty loud. Good food. Definitely a place to relax for an afternoon football game.

Bands start so late, and they take breaks within an hour of playing. For those of us who don't stay up all night it is disappointing.

Love this place for both the food and the ambiance. Great people. Live music. Dancing too on a good night. Usually am older crowd, which I prefer. Just a good old fashioned pub. Reasonably priced. read more

I don't get out much because I have very small children, so when I do go out I want it to be amazing. And this place DELIVERED!! Needed a drink with a friend. We like low key spots and this fit right in. This is a place for locals that's for sure. There was a band that night and every night apparently. Place is small, the place is kinda devided by half wall. Had sliders and fries, both were good. Drinks were reasonably price. Service - one bartender but that's fine, just a minute longer for 1st drink but good after that. Food came out quick enough. Atmosphere - it's an Irish bar! It's good for the size. Music is loud so not much talking during the music. We will go back again sometime. read more

Really enjoyed it. Fish and chips were superb. Perfect dive bar. Prices not bad. Friendly service. Made me a fresh pot of coffee when I asked for a cup. Fast service. Good lighting. Friendly people. Overall a good time. read more

Been drinking here for over 20 yrs. Place is not for everyone, young Millennials won't like it. For the true Irish you'll love it here, almost make you feel like you're back on the Island. Mostly locals ( don't take their bar stools) and movie industry folks. I haven't eaten here in a while but the food has always been good. The beer is cold. Weekends there is Irish music. Darts here is a common activity too. Very small parking in the rear. Street parking is easiest. read more

The ambiance is fantastic and feels like a proper Irish pub. Their food is to die for, as if flavorful and there is such a variety. One of my favorite local spots. It's dark, themed and has some great food. The live music is always good. The bangers and mash are 12/10.

yes, this is a dive bar, but the food is so good! on sundays they have bbq and it's amazing. the brisket is to die for and would give any Texas bbq a run for their money. the chef Rafa makes everything himself. nothing is frozen. from the fish and chips to to steak.....it's next level and totally affordable. it might look dodgy from the outside but don't be fooled. stop in for a pint and taco tuesday while you're at it! read more

We just visited this GREAT Dive Bar in Van Nuys to see and listen to our all time favorite entertainer Teresa James and her Band the Rhythm Tramps. As usual both the venue and performer were excellent. Over the Past year we have made our monthly trip from San Bernardino when they are performing. We thoroughly enjoy visiting Our Favorite Bar and particularly want to give credit to Allen the Master Bartender for handing the complete operation in such a great way. We have found this to be one of the few remaining locations that still have good LIVE Music on a daily basis. Thank you one and all for adding to our enjoyment. Billie Jo and Ken read more
