My secret hang out spot. Love the darts and music and the people are always friendly.

The Chimneysweep is a Valley classic. It's not the biggest bar around, but I like that it has somewhat of an intimate feeling. The bartop was clean, drinks came fast, and bartender was super friendly. This is a kind of bar where you walk in and chat with everyone inside like you've known each other for years, but some people do get a little sloppy. It's a dive, what else would you expect? I love the burning fireplace and festive holiday decor inside. It has that "classic" LA vibe with the leather booths and old timey decor. There's plenty of seating area inside and they have a very tiny outdoor space that's probably just best for standing. They also have a pool table that gets pretty crowded at night for all the inquiring pool sharks. The ONLY downside here is that you have to pay to play music. If no one pays for music, it's dead silent in there. Awk. They used to have Karaoke, but I didn't see a set-up when I was there on a Tuesday night. Overall, the Chimneysweep is a good time and definitely a locals-only sort of spot. You can park in the lot of the shopping center too which is super convenient!

A real bar, not a disco.

Dude poured me a double and a single and both were the same size. And the double was not a single. Cheers.

Your jukebox is a joke. Money maker. But good drinks and chill people. If it's crowded don't bother with jukebox.

It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.

A gentleman named J was at the door very nice polite I've knows for years. Upon walking in I was informed I needed to have my id scanned like I was about to take a flight. As a bar owner and person that's been to thousands of bars I understand the rules and requirements of checking id before entering or being served. I don't have a problem showing my id for the door person to check. On this recent night not only did I have to show my id ( which is the law) I had to give my id to door person to scan, scan really scanned. I'm 58 years old. What about me says do a deep dive on this guy's id. Pretty sure every person in the bar could guess I'm over 21, 31,41,51 and a few might guess 61. How insulting. How incredibly insulting to every regular over the age of 35. As regular customer for over a decade at least I feel like I've earned the respect and the courtesy of not having my id violated as a regular and a person that qualifies for senior discounts. I guess ownership is determined to ruin tiki no just like they did with the firefly and the powerhouse. In my humble opinion the tiki no ownership would be better served trying to create demand for new customers and not just being demanding of longtime friends and customers of tiki no. Maybe they should hire a monkey to stand out front to attract more customers. Everyone loves a monkey. Maybe the GM could do it. The one thing the only thing I now like about tiki no are the people that work there and worked there in the past. Hats for hiring well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Oh a regular is a person that regularly spends money at your business. If I wanted to be insulted I'd call my ex-wife.

The usually have a live band after 7pm and the sound in the resturant is amazing. It's like a recording studio. The staff was very friendly! The decor and ambiance was also impressive. Definitely swanky but down to earth vibes. I got the rasberry beret cocktail and it was different but fabulous. Not sure how else to describe it. It was refreshing. We got the tiger prawns and it was presented as a toasta, which had a great flavor and texture. The apple salad was also refreshing and a good portion to share between 2 people. The broccolini was cooked perfectly and my favorite after the tiger prawns was the Dungeness crab pasta. It had uni on top! The uni elevated the dish, and honestly there were a good amount of crab meat in the dish. Overall well balanced and creamy. The 2 of us left full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for a date night. There's also plenty of street parking when we went but there is also valet for $15.

First and foremost, a huge shoutout to our server, Seth, and the entire team. The service was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Waters were never empty, drinks arrived promptly, and every dish was perfectly timed and coursed throughout the evening. The level of attention to detail elevated an already incredible meal into a truly memorable experience. As for the food, I genuinely don't know where to begin. This might be one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles -- and honestly, it has a strong case for being the best. Every single dish that came out was executed beautifully. We started with the caviar service, which was an easy win from the start. The chips were impossibly light, airy, and perfectly salted, while the onion crème fraîche added an incredible richness that tied everything together beautifully. Next came the milk buns, which were soft, fluffy, and completely addictive. The whipped butter served alongside them was silky, rich, and absolutely perfect. The tiger prawn tostada completely surprised me in the best possible way. It delivered layers of flavor with subtle heat that never overpowered the dish. The prawns were cooked flawlessly, and every bite felt balanced and intentional. Then came the croquettes, which may have officially ruined all other croquettes for me. They were perfectly crisp on the outside while the interior simply melted in your mouth. The accompanying sauce was beautifully balanced and made an already fantastic dish even better. For mains, we ordered the Dungeness crab pasta, which was light, fresh, and elegant. It wasn't trying to be overly complicated, and that was exactly what made it so good. It was a reminder that simplicity, when executed well, can be extraordinary. The pork belly risotto was another standout. The risotto itself was cooked perfectly, and the pork belly somehow managed to be both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth tender at the same time. Every component on the plate worked together flawlessly. We also ordered the corn and roasted potatoes as sides, and somehow even those managed to steal the spotlight. The corn was an absolute flavor bomb, and the roasted potatoes were equally unforgettable. And then came the star of the evening: the tomahawk. Without question, it was the best tomahawk steak I've ever had. The accompanying chili sauce wasn't aggressively spicy like a traditional salsa might be; instead, it was incredibly balanced and complemented the richness of the steak perfectly. Every bite was absolute perfection. By the end of the meal, we were completely stuffed, but after a dinner this good there was no chance we were skipping dessert. We ordered the French toast dessert, which was delicious with its tangy strawberry syrup and beautifully executed flavors. My only critique would be that I wish it had been served warmer and in a slightly larger portion, because I truly think that would have taken it to an entirely different level. Overall, I left absolutely blown away. The chef, the kitchen team, and the front-of-house staff delivered one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday, and this is without a doubt a place we'll be returning to again and again.
