A piña colada and a blue Hawaiian
Nadine C.

I had a really great night, stopped by on a Friday night out of the blue. The bartenders were awesome, friendly and super fast. The environment was fun and charismatic. There's tables and a fire pit outside, to enjoy your drinks and view. The facility was nice, cozy and charismatic. Shout out to Mr. Lee for making us feel welcomed. My cousin and I will definitely be back, maybe even for some karaoke.

Ronit G.

You can get a pretty different vibe based on when you go, so at this location you can really personalize your night out. If you come when they first open you can do happy hour, however, if you're looking for a more party vibe, than coming later in the night will definitely deliver that. They have a pretty good happy hour every day. I particularly enjoy going on Saturday, right when they open, for their happy hour (6-8pm), where you can get $10 Pina Coladas and Blue Hawaiians. Every drink I've had here is also really delicious and pretty strong. Service is okay. Sometimes the waitstaff/bartenders come across as a bit cold. But honestly, it doesn't make this place any less great.

Big funny mug for the Zombie
Claveria D.

My fleet and I sailed into Tiki No on a Thursday after dinner, and while it was pretty dead, it made for a really relaxed escape. Aesthetics: I loved the decor here. It definitely whisked me away into some Polynesian village. Unlike other tiki bars I've been to in LA and Vegas that can feel stuffy and cluttered, this place is spacious and airy (though still dark, as they all are), but just open and fun. There was plenty of seating, including a great bar area and lots of round booths, which is a huge win for a group. Value: The drink value here was stellar. Sixteen bucks max for a single, themed drink is a great price for this kind of spot. And for those with a crew, the shareable grog drinks are a steal at $28--definitely something your whole fleet would be happy to consume with several straws. Product Quality: I always order the Zombie to determine how good a tiki bar really is--if you get this classic wrong, you're pretty much done. I expected the drink to be a bit sweeter and thicker than it was. It wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Zombies elsewhere. That being said, I was really happy that their drinks are poured into those great tiki-themed mugs and giant funny sculptures, which really adds to the experience. I'd absolutely be back to try their other tiki drinks. I highly recommend Tiki No. It's got a great vibe, fun presentation, and good value!

We stopped by to check out this local spot and had an amazing time. The bar has booths as well as two tops and standing area near the bar. There is also a nice patio with fireplace in the front of the bar. The interior is dark with plenty of themed lighting that sets a nice festive mood for a nice drink. The bartender was super friendly. Drinks are delicious, designed well and placed in festive drink-ware with flare. Bags of chips are the only food we saw on the menu but they do have a link on the table to order from a local pizza restaurant! "Tiki Hour" Sunday-Thursday 10pm-Midnight, Fridays and Saturdays 6pm-8pm. 21 and over so leave the kiddos at home. We will definitely be back!

Tiki No was THE perfect place to host my birthday party! The ambiance was amazing, the staff was so caring and amazing, the price on drinks were terrific + the drinks themselves were SO good!! 10/10 will be coming back more frequently!

Bartender Bonnie was awesome! My friend wasn't drinking, so she whipped up an amazing mocktail and a fabulous classic tiki drink for me. The vibe here is great-- friendly crowd, gorgeous classic tiki decor, and solid soundtrack.

Kevin G.

Immaculate vibes here all throughout the night. The karaoke was amazing, the drinks were great, the staff was nice, & the service was fast. I definitely recommend coming here anytime you have time or even if it's just for their karaoke nights.

Coconut mojito so great
Fernando M.

My absolute favorite tiki bar! Sundays karaoke with a charming DJ?! Let me say both bartenders Lee and the younger gent with the cap are absolutely great and raying sunshine! Easily my favorite Singapore sling amongst the many I've had! From their own creations the coconut mojito is refreshing and delicious! Big fan of the lychee drink as well Reasonable prices as well! Only thing missing a little snack for a hungry bastard like me.

Get rid of Karaoke. Ruins the tiki vibe. Plus one of the worst Mai tai's I've had. Disappointed. I live for tiki culture. Do better.

Ask the Community - Tiki No

Do they have nonalcoholic drinks?

Hi! We do :) We have an NA beer available, lots of juice and soda options and we make an NA pina colada, mojito (coconut and regular) and rum punch. We can also make the standards (ie Shirley Temple.) Hope this helps!!

This listing says that there's outdoor seating. Is there still outdoor seating? If there is, how many people can sit there, and is it covered/heated? 5/23/2024

Is it 21 and over?

Yes.

Have they started serving food?

No they don't serve food, they have some chips. They don't have a kitchen attached to the bar.

Is this a karaoke bar?

Yes! We have Karaoke on Wednesday's and Sunday's.

Is there a happy hour in these new pandemic hours?

I was there last month and didn't see any happy hour schedules back yet.

What are the covid restrictions? Proof of vaccination?

I was there last month and they are pretty strict about proof of vax at the door. When I go inside I wear my mask going up to the bar, but others don't.

What nights are karaoke and is it 21 and over?

Yes, they have karaoke on Wednesdays and Sundays. I believe it is only 21 yrs and up.. They have an Instagram account you can check for more information too!

Is it open yet?

Yes!

Has Tiki No reopened?

No!! Went there this evening (5.22.21) and it was closed shut.

Is there an email to reach the establishment at? I would love to reserve two tables for next Tuesday. I haven't had a chance to stop in. Thanks so much

Please email info@tikinobar.com

Is this bar 21 and up to get in?

They don't serve food so I would assume so, but they have a doorman at night checking IDs.

Is this a watering hole or do they also serve food?

We do not serve food, but you are more than welcome to bring outside food in.

This place does karaoke (I'm searching forfora karaoke bar seems Tiki No popped up)?

Yes, on Sundays and Wednesday's!

How's the dance scene?

nonexistent

It can get a little wild, especially when there are big parties. People let their friends squeeze into the line and cut in front of everyone, it's especially painful when there's only ONE bartender working and there's big groups ... but we've figured out some of the better times to come when it's more chill, and honestly, that makes a huge difference. Despite the chaos, we keep coming back because the drinks are consistent! And a great spot to hang out when it's chill.

It's smaller than I expected with more outdoor seating than indoor, so be aware during summer time and I'd recommend mosquito repellent! We did not make a reservation (I do recommend if you want indoor seating on busy nights) but we came at 4 pm and got a table that was reserved at 9 pm so we got to sit until we left that table at ~8:30 pm. We loved the indoor tiki decor and thought the whole vibe of the place was so cute and charming and we did appreciate some of the other customers who dressed up in Tiki style clothing as well. We did get dropped off/picked up but there's theoretical street parking out front for your DD (drink responsibly!!). They had a summer drinks special menu and we got the TBD and the Pure Imagination, I preferred the pure imagination. But our absolute favorite drink was the Nutty Chi Chi, a vodka blend on a classic Piña Colada! They don't serve food themselves but there is a taco stand out back after ~6pm that takes cash + card (card fee!) and will drop off food to your table. Such a fun night and looking forward to coming around again!

This place is absolutely gorgeous, music is wonderful, bathroom feels like a hidden cove…read more From the time you step in, the speakeasy vibe alone is so mystical and magical. One time I was sad because they made me wait long as a solo walk-in when I let a couple go ahead of me and I walked out. So keep an eye out, it depends on who's working the front. The reason I still give them 5 stars is because they have since made up for that. It really is a beautiful place, and given that they're a relatively new establishment or a busser could have stepped in if they're busy, so just give them feedback if they need to work on things like that. The food and drinks are so unique to their place, continuing that "hidden jewel" theme. Their menu is limited but all quality food, like you're going to that friend's house and you love their recipe style. I loved the chicken sandwich the best, the crispy chicken was so juicy! Their vegetarian options are devilishly good too, with their happy face potato fritters and fried mac. For drinks, my favorite was the chocolate banana. They use real ingredients, so it really hit the spot for me. The family and kids love it, such a great vibe that you'd never expect.

To be fair, that was the total for the group, so the number alone isn't what bothered me. What bothered me was looking at the food, the portions, and how much we actually enjoyed everything, then feeling like the value wasn't there. The chips and guacamole were probably the clearest example. For $15, the amount of guacamole looked like roughly three tablespoons, and it had a dark greenish-brown appearance that wasn't particularly appetizing. I'm not going to make assumptions about how it was prepared or how long it had been sitting, but the presentation and portion were disappointing. At that price, I expected something more generous and appealing. The pu pu platter was $35 and came with an assortment of items, but the portion looked appropriate for about two people. A platter doesn't necessarily have to feed an entire table of five, but even with that in mind, it didn't feel like a particularly good value. The $15 buffalo cauliflower also failed to impress. There just wasn't enough about it to make me feel that it justified the price. The Caesar salad was probably the best thing I tasted, although I only had a couple of bites. That says quite a bit about how underwhelming the rest of the food felt. There was one positive comment from our table about the Kalua pork tacos, so I want to give those some credit, but I didn't personally try them. They were $18 for two tacos à la carte, which still struck me as a fairly steep price. After reading other diners' reviews, I noticed some similar reactions: people who enjoyed parts of the experience but felt the food was only okay, or that the prices added up quickly. Experiences clearly vary, and some customers really enjoy the food here, but the comments questioning the value made sense to me after our meal. I don't expect every restaurant to be inexpensive, and I'm happy to pay more when the quality and portions make it feel worthwhile. Here, too many items landed in the "fine, but nothing special" category while being priced high enough to create bigger expectations. Three stars feels fair because there were a few things to enjoy, but the food and overall value left me wanting more. At these prices, I'd need a more consistently satisfying meal to feel excited about coming back.

Every single plate was on point. The branzino was the standout -- crispy almond crust, fish cooked perfectly, not a dry bite on the plate. The crab cake was all crab, no filler, and the caprese was fresh and simple the way it should be. The real star of the night was Scott, the bartender/owner. He took care of us from the second we sat down, recommended everything we ate, and went out of his way to make Edward's birthday feel special. You can tell he actually cares about the people in his room, not just turning tables. That kind of hospitality is rare. And the drinks -- a dirty martini, a Manhattan, and hands down the best whiskey sour I've ever tasted in my life. It's become so much more than just one of our favorite bars and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The biggest reason, though, is the people. Hospitality is something that's hard to fake, and the team here does it effortlessly. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted like an old friend. Over the years, the staff has created an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely personal, and that's something that's become increasingly rare. Matt, Sabrina, and the entire team are all such gems. Scott also deserves special recognition. He's a huge part of what makes The Rendition Room such a special place. Whether he's introducing a new cocktail, sharing the story behind a spirit, or simply taking the time to check in, his passion and care for every guest shine through. It's people like Scott who transform a great bar into a place you truly feel connected to. On our most recent visit, we tried the new Decade & Debauchery cocktail, celebrating The Rendition Room's 10 year anniversary, and it's phenomenal. Balanced, and beautifully executed. In a city full of great bars, they have managed to create something much harder to find, a sense of community. After all these years, it still feels just as special as the first time we walked in.

Verdict: it slapped! First of all, they have a hella good happy hour, until *6:30 pm*, Monday - Sunday. Is that generous or what? We ordered at 6:25 and they still hooked us up. *Full craft cocktails* only $8 during that time. We decided to double up LOL, get 2. I tried the Hand Maid and the Southern Cawing. I think that if I'd gotten one of the cocktails from their regular menu (like Piccolo Punch, $19), it might have been more interesting - but these were very solid. Tiramisu was super thick with a lot of mascarpone...problem?...not really, but it was a lot more than I've ever seen-I couldn't finish it. That's it for critical review. Pros: Now to the entrees: OMG. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! The Lasagna with meat sauce was destroyed by my happy mouth and the sauce nearly cleaned off the plate. The Ravioli is supposed to come in a red sauce, but since I was already having the lasagna I asked them if they could instead make it with their white Alfredo sauce-no problemo! My goodness! That was probably and honestly the best ravioli I've had in at least 8 years-it seemed as though I was eating at someone's house. I can't wait to go back and eat this again, seriously. IMPORTANT: I ate the entire Lasagna and all the Raviolis, and ate some of my friend's Fettuccine Alfredo with the scallops and shrimp, and some of the delicious BBQ Chicken Pizza...and guess what, NOT LYING HERE...I did NOT feel bloated at all! I was afraid after I was done that I was going to be in pain and get super bloated because it was a LOT of food for one person and I'm not a huge guy. So even 3 days later I am super confused as to why I felt completely fine after eating all that food...do they make everything in-house? Including the pasta? Do they use good ingredients and leave out the bad? I have no idea, but that amazed me. Loved it! Seating: many different types of seating available. As for us, as you can see from the picture I took, yes, we sat in the Obsession movie table! Service/Staff: OUTSTANDING, period. The hostess, if that was her title, was amazing; will never forget her. The waiter was awesome and memorized our whole order including all the funky "leave that out, put this in, substitute that for this...oh, and this too...oh and..." - I was worried he was going to miss details...nope. Perfection. We even spilled a full glass across the whole table and he quickly helped with towels to clean it with us. We tipped all of them. Would highly recommend and would go back tonight if I could drive two hours again!
