Awful experience. I would not recommend anyone go here. After a windstorm, my car was damaged (hole in a plastic part of the trunk that went through to a taillight and a dent above a door). After calling around to auto body shops near me, I only found ones who would fix everything but the dent. That is when I called Ira Lexus in Danvers (my closest Lexus dealership, an hour away). I figured at least they could fix the plastic piece and the taillight. They referred me to Ira Collision (same owner, same building). I made an appointment and dropped off my car to Peter. I even sent the estimate from my local shop that included the tail light ahead of time. My insurance covers a rental car for 30 days at $20 per day (note that Enterprise charges $60 per day for the smallest car). When I dropped off my car to Peter, I pointed out 1) the hole, 2) the taillight, 3) the dent, and 4) broken pieces in the moonroof cover (that wasn't even looked at, but it's not an auto body thing, so I let that go). He even commented that it was weird that an auto body shop wouldn't fix the dent. A week went by (of me paying $40 PER DAY on the rental car) and nothing was done. After the second week, I got a text letting me know they just noticed the tail light needed to be replaced and they would need to order it. What? Another week went by and I texted to ask when my car would be done. They did get back to me, letting me know it would be done at the end of the weekend and they would update me the exact date. No update, so I messaged again. I was told it probably be would be done the next day and they would update me. Again, no update. I showed up anyway because at this point I was more than $800 into the rental car and really needed the $$ hemorrhaging to stop. The car was "done", but they totally missed the dent! (and the moonroof cover) Peter wanted me to LEAVE THE CAR longer, but I explained that I could not afford to keep the rental any longer. He said he would reach out and schedule a date the fix the dent they missed WHEN I COULD WAIT FOR THE CAR. I had to reach out to him TWICE to get that appointment. So I drove an hour to take my car back and they said, "We made a reservation with Enterprise for you". WHAT? At first Peter would not talk to me, he told the receptionist that my insurance would pay for the rental and I should just do that. I was 21 days into the 30 days of rental (partial) coverage, so the costs would go up significantly if they took their time as they did last time. Obviously, Peter again forgot what we talked about. Would he do anything to make their multiple mistakes right? No. Thank goodness my insurance company will let me finish the repair somewhere else. I suggest you go somewhere else too. The sad thing is that the work that was done looks great. This is what I suggest: 1. Peter: take some actual notes of what the customer tells you when they drop off the car. Keep the notes with the car so everything gets done in a timely matter. Your parking lot is jam packed - wouldn't you like to be more efficient? Otherwise you are wasting everyone's time because you obviously don't remember all the details of every car. 2. If you say you will update people, actually do that. If you don't have time, then I recommend Ira Collision hire another person because your customer-facing side sucks right now. 3. If you make a big mistake like this that will end up costing your customer hundreds, possibly over a thousand dollars, make it right! You could have called or walked over to Ira Lexus and asked if I could use a loaner car in this situation. You could have covered the cost of the rental car BECAUSE THIS WAS YOUR MISTAKE. Now not only have you lost a customer with the collision center, but I will not be taking my Lexus RX to Ira Lexus either. To anyone thinking of having work done here - you have been warned. Only go here if you don't mind bringing your car back multiple times and if your insurance has really, REALLY good rental car coverage. read more

0 stars if there was the option. Brought car in on 6/18 for 8am scheduled appointment for estimate. Was told it would take 20+ mins to get the quote written up because I was a "walk-in". I explained to my Estimator that I didn't just walk in but had a scheduled appointment. I said if he could have it to me by lunch time so that I could make an appointment to get things in motion. I understand things get busy sometimes so I helped create some flexibility for my estimator. Unfortunately here we are on 6/24 and still no estimate. For context, there are only two things to be quoted on. A new rear bumper cover (textured, no paint required) and miscellaneous hardware for install. Not a very complicated quote by any means. Let's see how the communication has gone. 6/18- brought car in, left empty handed (no quote) 6/19- sent follow up email, estimator said it would be done that day. 6/20- called to check on, estimator is off, no manager working on weekends? and unable to have a different estimator work on this quote. 6/22- follow up email, no response 6/23 follow up email, no response 6/23 emailed GM Greg Ross, no response 6/23 left voicemail for AGM Ben Durham, no response 6/24 (today) makes day 7 since trying to obtain simple quote so that I can schedule the work to be done. All and all I'm super disappointed with Peter Messana (my estimator). If you guys were unable to take on a small project such a a bumper cover, then just say so. If you are backed up and have no time as an estimator, then just say so. But the fact that I have gotten 1 response in the last week is unimaginable. Why do you let customers schedule appointments if this is the follow up procedure. Unfortunately this topic and name seems to come up often when reading reviews. Simple follow up emails take less than 1 minute to compose. I was able to visit your competitors after leaving your dealership. Not a single other dealership had an issue getting me my quote within 5-10 mins (being that it is just a bumper cover and 2 hours of labor). I normally do business at a different dealership but will be moving to the Danvers area shortly. I figured what a better time to experience what will now be my closest dealership. Unfortunately it does not seem I will be moving myself or my family's business to this location after all. Such a missed opportunity on a first time customer with this dealer. I have done more than my fair share with attempting to communicate and have tried harder than the person whose job it is and is somehow getting paid to do. I would really hate for my bonus to be tied to such an incompetent estimator. Will make adjustments to the review if there are more developments. I was a recent customer with very simple, straightforward damage from a parking lot accident. Quite honestly, a little paint was scraped off and my bumper had a scrape. To address this minor damage, Ira Collision took over two weeks to complete the work. This facility is a huge warehouse and I really don't believe they even looked at my vehicle until I checked in after a few days. On top of the long time it took to complete the work, there was never any communication. I only received updates on my vehicle when I contacted them. In fact, the first and only proactive communication I received was an automated text message that was my vehicle was ready for pick up - sent over an hour after I picked it up! The digital invoice sent to me indicated that I owed nothing. On the day I picked up the vehicle, they said I owed $500. There is no cohesion between their operations and what they attempt to communicate. Although my car insurance covered most of my car rental during this time, I still owed fees out-of-pocket. Around day ten when the sales rep still didn't have an idea of when I could pick up my vehicle, I shared my frustration on the timeline and the expenses I was paying due to their delays. I asked for a detail to compensate for my troubles and out-of-pocket expenses, and he agreed that would be arranged. When I picked up my vehicle today, the dashboard and interior had been wiped down but that was it. They didn't even bother to vacuum. When I questioned the rep, he said that a detail was an expense for them and he couldn't approve it. I'm sorry but a detail might be something they charge for, but it does not cost them anything. I've been to other dealerships and car repair that provide this courtesy without even asking. This business could have taken ownership that they were in the wrong and they couldn't even bother to provide a small courtesy for a major inconvenience. This place is a laughable excuse for a body shop. Let me list some of the things that went on during the 31 days it took them to fix a small crack in my bumper!!!! no particular order: - Our estimator Yomerys Lora went weeks without answering emails. - Yomerys answered her phone roughly 5% of the time during business hours and literally never returned a voicemail. - I had to resort to calling other department and estimators and asking them to put her on the phone. - They closed for COVID cleaning for 5 days and didn't notify me. - Straight up lied about the progress of my vehicle, one person said it had been painted and ready to cleaned, the next week someone else said it still had to be painted. - 0 communication the whole time, and no compensation offered despite holding my car hostage for a MONTH with no estimated timeline of completion. God forbid it was a serious repair, I might not see my car until 2022, and I'm not exaggerating! I used to work at IRA Subaru and shared a work space with the auto body shop so I'm not surprised by the lack of professionalism, but this experience took it to a WHOLE NEW LOW. Tl:dr - These guys are a bunch of crooks, they'll spout whatever BS they can to get you off the phone so they can go home and neglect your car repair for another week. As for Yomerys, take some pride and give a little bit of effort in your job. You can't blame COVID for all your shortcomings and pathetic lack of communication skills. I'm an attorney practicing Lauren the Massachusetts area and I have purchased two Porsches and two Subarus from Ira. I have never had a problem with the sales department. George is one of the best. But approximately a year ago, I was in an accident and brought My Subaru to Iras collision department, and it was the worst mistake I ever made. I posted a review at the time which was scathing and I'm not the type to post reviews. I'm posting this one only because a client recently had an accident with his Subaru, and was going to go to Ira, but after discussing it with me, he brought it to another Subaru dealership for repairs. In addition to being treated terribly by the collision department after posting my review, someone alleging to be either the manager or assistant manager. I can't remember and asked me to explain which I did, and he said he was going to get to the bottom of it and get back to me. To add insult to injury Of course I never heard from him so now I take my new Subaru to the dealership in White River Junction, Vermont where I have a vacation home. It is excellent professional, and unlike Ira not crowded. And as I sit, in my last review, I'd rather have a root canal, then to deal with Ira collision. read more

Car was completely repaired and looking brand new in exactly one week. It actually was returned to me one day after my scheduled appointment at Ira lol. Excellent customer service. This body shop is a laughable excuse for a company and has incompetent employees from the ground up. Do not waste your time, effort, and money with them. Read below for details. On Feb. 6th I was involved in a minor accident with some rear fender/bumper and tow hitch damage. I contacted my insurance company and selected Ira Toyota Collision Center for my repairs because I had just purchased my (brand new) Toyota vehicle through Ira Toyota. I figured bringing my vehicle to a place associated with where i purchased my vehicle that the process would be quick easy and return my vehicle back to showroom condition. What has happened has been nothing but difficult and riddled with incompetence. I dropped off my vehicle on Feb 20th and had a rental car for close to 3 weeks. I had the displeasure of driving a Hyundai through several snowstorms instead of my 4x4 truck. I was called about 3 weeks later and told my vehicle was repaired and ready to be picked up. When I arrived, I was asked to sign paperwork before seeing my vehicle. I refused and wanted to see my vehicle first and I'm glad I did. There was still damage all over the rear bumper and to the hitch of my vehicle. My adjustor, Jerry, had missed very apparent damage and it was clear he never looked at my vehicle prior to calling me and telling me it was completed. I spoke with the collision manager Greg Ross, who was apologetic and said he would get to the bottom of it and get back to me. I was told that this was an oversight, all parts would be ordered and I would be taken care of. I was then informed that several parts were back ordered for several weeks with essentially no ETA and that I would just have to wait for the parts to come in. Towards the end of march I was called and told that my parts had arrived and the earliest they could schedule me to come in was several weeks later, April 11th. I was told that they would take care of a rental/ loaner car and that my vehicle repairs would be completed in the same day. April 11th arrives and I go to drop off my vehicle and the staff is seemingly unaware of why I am there and there is no rental car available. After waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes I am shuttled to an off site rental car company where I am told there is no reservation for me. The rental car company tells me that since it is a one day job, my insurance will not cover it and I will have to pay out of pocket, despite Ira saying this was all set and taken care of on their dime. After a $500 hold is placed on my credit card I am finally off to work, an hour late. I have to once again call Ira Toyota and have them fix their issue of incompetence that I am once again paying for. LO AND BEHOLD, at 330PM that day I am called by Ira Toyota and told THAT MY VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED, and they did not in fact have the parts for my car in. Their system indicated that they had the parts but no one ever laid eyes on them and scheduled my appointment without actually knowing if the parts were in or not. Once again I am furious and they are apologetic but with no real solution other than to wait for the parts. I have once again lost time at work and at other personal obligations. I'm out money, stress, and I still have a damaged vehicle. I spoke with the general manager for Ira Toyota, Mark Giovanni after this debacle. He is also apologetic but asks what I want from him. I want them to make this right. I want some competency and some answers as to why I am left holding the shit end of the stick from this company. I want my car fixed. And they tell me to wait. Their only answer to me is that I have to wait for the parts to come in and there is nothing else they or I can do. I find it impossibly hard to believe that a multinational car company cant find a trailer hitch anywhere in the country for me. But they offered to drop me off a rental car sometime in mid May whenever the parts come in, so thats cool. Avoid them like the plague and save yourself the hassle and lost time and money. read more

Absolutely worst customer service experience I have had the displeasure of being subjected to. It should have been a huge red flag waving in my face when the first time I brought my vehicle in for an insurance claim, they accused me of a potential fraudulent claim! (Except I had photos and videos documenting the storm damage that dropped an enormous branch onto my vehicle and was absolutely up front regarding prior unrelated damage.) My insurance carrier agreed with me after weeks of filing paperwork and multiple conference calls... You'd think after being forced to jump through a cornucopia of hoops that I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere? Nope. I was a glutton for punishment it would seem and brought it back to them in good faith. It took almost a MONTH for them to complete the work. (Hood/bumper replacement, radiator and radiator supports, some other bits and bobs) When I finally got the vehicle back, the hood was no longer able to stay open. It had always worked prior to bringing it to their shop. The gas struts that hold the hood open weren't working. "Odd", I thought, and reached out. Proceeded to go back and forth with Ira AGAIN, debating a $25 part and that they wouldn't replace it because "Your insurance won't cover that item" Right. I KNOW they won't and I don't want them to. The struts worked perfectly fine prior to bringing the vehicle in, and now they don't. That's not my insurance, that's not me, that's Ira. At this point, it's not even worth dealing with them - I'll just leave this as a warning - Caveat Emptor when dealing with Ira Collision. I can find replacement struts for $25 on Amazon and I know they take 5 minutes to pop in. I'll do that rather than trust them with my vehicle again. At this point, I just wanted them to take ownership and resolve a CSAT issue which they absolutely failed on multiple occasions to do so. ***Update*** Apparently, Ira took the time to respond publicly, stating "they are sorry they didn't meet my expectations" and "we hope we can earn your business back" How about CALLING ME and speaking to me rather then hiding behind a social media response? Your lame duck Yelp response to which I received absolutely zero notification even existed is laughable. (I only found it by coming back to check the status of my review) It just makes me even more upset that not one person has reached out either via email or phone to attempt to resolve this amicably. read more

We used IRA on two occasions, one related to a high speed crash on Route 128 and another when we were parked. My insurer had dropped them as a "guaranteed repair shop," so we went in a little concerned. I had used one other repair shop in the past. CONCERNS Their communication is lacking, but if you take the initiative to repeatedly call them, they do make communication a priority. Shouldn't have to and it doesn't really seem like a great business model - interrupt us and we'll help you. GREAT STUFF They guaranteed their work. They don't do it in a written way (bad), but they did do it live (good). I was impressed with their customer service on this one. When we noticed that some items hadn't been resolved several weeks after they repaired our vehicle, they resolved everything with no attitude. Definitely legit. They were real honest when I spoke with them and gave me a rather detailed review of problems and suggestions. Our insurer had worse communication skills. So, perhaps I should give them a break. 3 stars ONLY for the lack of communication. I would go back to them if I have a car repair need. I'm putting on those huge expander things that school buses use so that noone else hits me. OMG read more

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with IRA Collision Center in particular Mary & Mike. From the first day of dropping my car off was a smooth organized process. Throughout the process which was completed in a timely fashion, actually sooner than promised! I never once went without what stage my car was in. I don't know what happened with the other two reviewers but I have to say that we've had nothing but great experiences with Ira Collision and in particular Jason. I've taken my wife's car there once and my car there three times (yes, my wife is a much better driver than I am) over the years and each time they have been courteous, responsive and done fantastic work. I just picked up my 2009 Lexus EX350 after I accidentally rear-ended someone in a rotary (he started to merge and I followed then he abruptly stopped). I met my insurance adjuster at Ira and asked for Jason to work with. Jason took care of everything for me with the adjuster including fighting with them to get the proper higher quality parts for my car. I plan to keep it for a while. The car was done right on schedule so I asked them to tack on a detailing job. It's like a new car and the repair work is perfect. I went over the car with Kenny who was also excellent to work with. I even offered him a tip and he refused. I will ONLY use Ira Collision for any future work (which I'm sure there will be) and will ALWAYS request to work with Jason. I have had my Mercedes and Lexus both fixed here. Jason Louf helped me each time. I am a serial knicker of my bumpers. I am so embarrassed to come back each time but Jason doesn't judge me or make me feel foolish for hitting my car (too many times to mention). Besides being professional and friendly, he is honest about how long the repair will take and he is spot on with the delivery date. He has found "extra" scratches and dents and has them repaired for me. He works with my warranty so I am not charged extra. He deals with my insurance company so I don't have to think about anything. I hope I never have to go to another body shop again but if I do, I am only coming here and asking for Jason Louf. read more

My car was dropped off on October 15th. Called the a week after I dropped off my car to get an update. Left a voice mail for this guy named Bob. He never got back to me. I called a week after and left another voice mail. Still no one got back to me. I had to go in the shop because at this point it has been 2 weeks not knowing what is going with my car. I had to speak with the Production Manager Ben Durham to get an update on my car. I called today to get an update got his voice mail. He didn't return my call. I had to go in the shop to talk to Ben. Went through Ira Collision when I was rear ended with insurance. My vehicle had its rear bumper, trunk, and underpan ruined in the accident. I don't blame them for taking more than 2 weeks as the underpan is a hard part to get. However, I got the vehicle back and it needed to be wet sanded still as it had clear coat runs and I had to come back. About 3 days later later I noticed there was a golf ball sized dent in my trunk and after driving I realized I had paint chipping away on the edge of my rear bumper as they mounted it with no gap at all against the rear quarter panel. Contacted the manager to send photos, hard to get a hold of anyone past the receptionist, gave a second call and no response. Gave up trying to get it righted. Also requested (at my cost, and pre-approved by me) for them to do two minor paint touch ups initially which never got done. Trading the car in, in 6 months so not worth the headache of chasing them down. High volume in and out kind of business, I'm sure every experience is different but mine was satisfactory if not a little disappointing at best. read more

The customer service and repair were exemplary. Jason Louf at IRA handled our case. Our X5M took hit in the side. The original estimate by the insurance company's estimator was far from adequate. Jason and his team corrected the estimate, submitted it for approval, and all was good from there. This is normal and should be expected by any shop. However, the timely follow up calls, email, and informed conversations kept any uncertainty at bay during this repair. Also, everything was ready when promised. No surprises. IRA is part of Group1Auto, a huge S&P500 auto group not a local company. I like that they have stability over a local shop. I have used IRA Collision on four of my VW/Audi cars in the past (TT, Passat, A4, A6). I continue to come back due to the quality of the work and service: QUALITY: Ira has worked on everything from my $4,000 hit and run to my $17,000 "stop and go" hit and sandwich. The cars always come back looking like new. Paint match, OEM parts, fit and finish, clean and neat. CUSTOMER SERVICE: As others have said before, IRA walks the talk when it comes to service. They care about their customers. Great text communication through the process. Work directly with the insurance company. Get rental / loaner cars. Coordinate with the OEM service dealers for special repairs and service. SPEED: The main reason for a 4 and not a 5 is speed. They do take their time to get it right. And they are in high demand. My last car was driveable so we took 10 days for a spot in the queue. Then my $17,000 job took 30 days to complete. The insurance from the guy who caused the accident also paid for the rental car. If I paid the $1,200 for the rental I would be somewhat less happy. So great work, great communication, great customer satisfaction. If you need it fast, I bet there are other stores that are not in such high demand who can do it faster. read more

I would still give this a 0 if I could. I finally got my car back after 2 months for repair on a dent in passenger door. Collision center shorted my battery by incorrectly jump starting it numerous times ( was never grounded during work) and blew out my computer system. Also they were not going to tell me this and we're hoping I'd just drive off the lot. 4000 bill faced me next from them. These people are liars and cheats. Don't be fooled by mike Jordan's cheeky response about phoning me, he never did. I've also opened a case with the attorney general about this and I hope to see it resolved. read more

If you're interested in studying incompetence in the work place, look no further. You have found your alpha and your omega. Where do I even begin. For starters, they have had my car for over 3 months. They called me on day 1 and said my radiator was smashed in, and then sent an appraisal to my insurance company that didn't include anything about a radiator. Ok. That's fine. Pretty standard for the first appraisal to be incomplete until they go in and really look at it. A month later they get around to doing a second appraisal. Ok. There was snow on the ground, things can take time, they probably had a lot of cars to deal with. They told me the car was totaled. Ok, sweet,I though, I'll begin looking for a new car. Which I did, for about a month. However, they kept telling me they needed an independent appraiser to send the paper work to my insurance company to finalize it, and that guy was out of town. Ok. So, I waited. What they really ended up doing was send a second appraisal to my insurance company for an amount that wasn't even close to totaling the car, and just never told me, never began repairs, and kept telling me that it was an outside person dropping the ball. After several weeks, I ask "What is going on?" - and call everyone from my insurance company to the independent appraisal company to the upper management at IRA Collision. "The person working on your case is on vacation." Fantastic. Apparently, no one here is able to access a computer. After 2 weeks of nothing, I finally get a manager to talk to me. She gives me the 'ole "we'll call you by the end of the week." line. They don't call back. They don't answer the phone, or reply to emails. So, she realized she did not accomplish what she said she'd do in the stated amount of time and got me back in touch with the original guy I was dealing with who went on vacation without keeping anyone up to date on my car's situation. He called me *LAUGHING*, and said "we're used to seeing you car here now!" Fantastic, brah. He told me by the end of the week, I'd know something. So I call him Monday morning and left a voicemail (because no one at IRA Collision is able to answer to phone, ever, you always have to leave messages), and this is about 2 business days after this guy assures me that from now on I can count on him, that he will be my contact man, etc., the chicken shit guy passes me off to his assistant, who is actually a nice young woman who actually does call me back, so in my estimation she should probably be running the company instead of her incompetent bosses. In summary, after 3 months of having my car, I am now dealing with my 3rd Ira Collision employee, who is the lowest on the totem pole out of all 3. Rather than getting ANYTHING done, the upper people here choose to do nothing and pass the job off to the lower people, and just tell me to keep waiting week after week. I ask them "What is going on?" - they don't know. They don't know what is wrong, after 3 months!! The manager said "we're having the independent appraiser come out soon, you're on the list to be seen." Excuse me? I'm on the list? After 3 months? After you told me my car was totaled a month ago? After you lied to me and said it was my insurance company that didn't total the car? Grow up. Get the appropriate people there to assess the damage, fix the damage or total the car, and never lie to me again, and stop blaming other people at other companies for your incompetence. I have bought 4 cars from IRA in the past, and after this experience I would never do business with them again. read more

He was very responsive and detailed when updating me about my car. My car was done in a few days and the work done is very neat and the car looks wonderful. Very quick and efficient work. I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Ira Collision Center for a minor repair to the rear bumper of my car. I spoke with Amy, a young woman who was less than enthusiastic in helping me figure out what information they needed and how long the repair might take. I offered to send her a copy of my insurance company estimate, but she assured me that she would get this information the day prior to my dropping the car off. The day I dropped the car off (at this monstrosity of a site), Amy informed me that she needed a copy of the estimate as she was unable to obtain one. When I again inquired about the time frame for the repair, she was unable and/or unwilling to be of any assistance. Since I would be renting a car during the process, I simply wanted a ballpark idea, to which she replied, "we have over 300 cars out there so there's no way I can tell you." Her attitude was dismissive and incredibly rude. I find it hard to believe that this is the face of Ira Collision Center the public first sees. I decided to cancel my appointment and am having the repair work done at a local shop. The experience there so far, has been outstanding and accommodating. The only reason I'm giving the center one star is because a very nice gentleman by the name of James called me on my way back home to apologize profusely and offer to help in any way that he could. He also mentioned that the center had been receiving many similar complaints recently. To any of you who may be considering Ira Collision Center for your car repairs, I suggest you look elsewhere. Over the years, I've been to a number of auto body shops on the North Shore. For quality of work and professionalism, Ira Collision Center is clearly the best. And they proven it me twice recently. Two years ago, I was a dead stop on Route 128, stuck behind a long line of cars after an accident. The guy behind me didn't see the mess in time and we got rear-ended. Fortunately nobody was hurt, but the back end took a beating. Ira Collision fixed/replaced all the internal damage and the car looked like it just came out of the showroom. Then, last month, I was stopped on an exit ramp, waiting for an opening in the traffic on 1A, when ten seconds later a lady did exactly the same thing. I was shaken up, but again no serious injuries. Naturally I went back to Ira and they matched their first performance. Punchline? Their team is a pleasure to deal with, though I hope that for a while I'm going have better luck with Boston drivers. read more

I brought my car to Ira Collision on 10/2/19 for what I was told by the adjuster would be a 2 day repair. It is now 10/30/19 and I still don't have my vehicle back! They say that they are still waiting on a part. When you call to get an update they never get back to you! I would not recommend every bringing a vehicle there for repairs! read more

I have had two Subarus repaired at Ira (one the result of a run in with a deer last summer and the other a result of being rear ended at a stop light in the snow a couple of months ago). The first repair went without a hitch--quick, great communication on the status of my repair, great associate. B/c of that great experience I brought my Outback wagon to Ira after it was rear-ended. Unfortunately my second experience was nothing like the first. Different associate and the repair took over four weeks (for a pretty standard repair!) rather than the 2 to 2 1/2 week estimate he gave me initially and then confirmed. Had the associate let me know how long the repair would take I could have made other arrangements. While I did receive weekly email updates, they didn't alert me to any delay. I just picked up my 2015 from them after being rear ended. I was already devastated my car had been in an accident (whole reason I bought a brand new car). I had full confidence in my insurance carrier to handle all aspects of this claim and they had. I dropped off my car on Tuesday and by Friday it was ready to be picked up. Having very high customer service expectations sometimes leads me to being high disappointed. Upon inspections the bumper I did notice a few small. Like. Really hardly noticeable. Scratches a little too there for my liking. The gentleman who came out, Ed, was wonderful at easing my mind that if I was unhappy they would gladly repaint the bumper for me. He was able to buff them out for me without having to repaint or re-smooth and I am very thankful. I hope I'm not in another accident. However if I am ill be taking my car back here. I just recently had someone put a very large dent in my car at the mall, and had to file a vandalism claim on my brand new Toyota Rav4. Jason Louf, the adjuster for Ira at this location provided exceptional service. He always got back to me right away. He made sure to contact my insurance company immediately and I never had to wait for a thing. When I got my car back, it honestly looked better than when I first bought it. I was so happy. Jason, and the IRA Collision team did an outstanding job. He is the best person at a car dealership I have worked with, and I definitely would by another IRA vehicle again simply because Jason was so helpful and great through this experience. Ira collision center will from now on always be the place I take my car to if I ever need any body work done again, I drive a 2015 Toyota and had an accident at the beginning of last week and was able to get my car into the shop 3 days later, they started working on it promptly and I had the car back in 7 short days, the customer service here is phenomenal and my phone calls were always returned in a timely fashion, I would recommend to all my friends and family needing body work on their car. Since purchasing my vehicle in July I have only had pleasant experiences with Ira. read more

Horrible experience. ZERO STARS. Dropped my car off to ira collision November 15th and got it back January 23. It took them over two months to fix it. Geico stopped paying for my rental after 30 days because they said they gave ira collision the adequate time to fix it. As far as I'm concerned it sat there for a few weeks before anybody looked at it. Nobody reached out to me to let me know what was going on so after many voicemails to Peter I finally decided to email him after geico told me that's how they got in contact. So apprently if you want to know what is going on you have to reach out first and ask because nobody will contact you with updates. For two months I paid 425$ for a lease I wasn't even driving. When I picked my car up Peter didn't even come up to show me my car he had someone else do it. Then I get in my car and it says 28 miles to oil change. Great. I will never use ira collision again. Wish I had read the reviews before I went there because it looks like I'm not the first person to experience this. Glad it's over with and don't have to ever deal with them again. read more

My issue stated when the back door on the passenger side of my GS 350 needed replacement because of an accident, which led them to diagnose other problems like replacing the gas tank. When i picked up my car after they claimed that they had fixed it and replaced the gas tank, i proceeded to fill up my tank but to my utmost dismay the gas started pouring out as i was filling up the tank. Which meant the gas tank was leaking because they had done a shoddy job, so as a result of this they sent a tow truck to come pick me and the car up at the gas station. After the repairs I had to keep going to them for one thing or the other on multiple occasion. One of the issues was that the check engine light and other signs were coming up, which caused me to keep going back and forth because the car was malfunctioning, not until i told them to check the gas tank lid because it does not seat properly on the tank, which was only when they realized that they had given me a wrong lid which led to the development of other problem with the car. After this discovery they made me pay for a new lid which was misplaced due to their negligence. (How could they have made me pay for the gas tank lid which they misplaced)? About 3 months after repairs my 4 doors are malfunctioning, which has left me with no choice than to go back to them, despite how hard i have tried to avoid any dealings with them in any shape or form. The latest now is that I am told that i have to buy another new door because the back door on the passenger side cannot be savaged. The problems with my doors started after the initial repairs with them. How can the door of a Lexus just fall off from the hinge? Is Lexus GS 350 a toy car? This beats my imagination! I only went to fix a door, and that alone has rippled into other numerous issues for me, had i known i would have taken it to a non-Lexus Collision place, because any other collision garage would have done better than Ira Collision Center where they treat their customers as numbers. I will like to advise that this auto garage is very incompetent and does shoddy repairs and i will never recommend any body, not even an enemy to fix their car at IRA COLLISION CENTER. What a nightmare.I took my car for repairs at the left rear bumper bad customer service from the estimator repairs paid by other insurance who's client dent my car (around$3800 dollars) I ask to repair front bumper dealing with my own insurance. Front bumper was replaced and rear bumper repaired unprofessional job After repairs made I took the car back for bad work performed. They weren't to happy about it so neither I. They told me 2 days to fix it and it took 7 days no idea why finally when I pick up my car I went to do some shopping and I found a dent on the right rear bumper that was painted over to simulate the dent so I call them back of course they weren't happy and they told me that the car was like that the first time I took it I'm wondering how come the estimator didn't point it to me that first day and now they say that the bumper can't be repair, has to be replaced and they want around $1200 dollars to replace it. It was a nightmare dealing with this people who charge around $3800 dollars they make me waist my time back and forth I talked to the manager he understood my point but still saying the car was dented And they can see the dent in the pictures so they can see it in the pictures but didn't see it when I took the car the first time what kind of estimators they have if they call the insurance for supplemental and they ignore that dent I could pay the deductible if necessary to replace it dealing with both insurance but they didn't point it to me they just painted over. Avoid at all costs. This was my second visit to IRA collision. Fool me twice, shame on me. Let's just say I've learned my lesson and will never return. The first time I took my Audi there, when I drove up from Boston to pick it up, there were long scratch marks along the side of my car (presumably where a painter had cut masking tape with a razor blade). As a result, the car was in the body shop for an extra week. Ultimately, the final product was good, so when my car was hit in a collision, I thought I'd give them a second chance. I even mentioned the difficulty that I had experienced the first time around hoping that they would be extra careful this time. To make a long story short, my car was there for a month (the sales Rep Jason had told me 1 - 2 weeks), and when I went to pick it up, sure enough, they had done an unbelievable bad job. The repair required the entire front bumper to be replaced, and when Jason called me and told me the car looked "perfect," I rushed up from Boston to pick it up. Much to my surprise, there was a huge gap between the left bumper and the left fender. It looked as if someone had pushed one panel inward (see photo). This wasn't even the side that the accident was on. So, essentially, they made that side of my car worse than it was when I dropped it off for repair. Jason's response was "I guess I didn't look very closely at that side." I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism. Even the body shop manager Paul didn't seem to think Jason's explanation was odd. He said, a factory bumper usually just pops right on. You mean to tell me they don't even look to ensure that everything has been aligned properly? Paul promised me he'd fix the car first thing Monday morning (it was Saturday at the time) and drive it down to me that day. Of course, it didn't reach me until Wednesday, and every day along the way it was "just one more day." To make matters worse, there were pieces of my car that they had removed and thrown in the back seat of my car damaging my leather! They said they thought I might want them. I can't imagine why. Needless to say, they made the already painful experience of a car accident significantly more painful and inconvenient. read more

I've been a loyal, happy customer of IRA Toyota and IRA Lexus for years (purchased at least 3 Toyota vehicles and 3 Lexus vehicles), but this is the first time I used the IRA Collision Center. We just had our Toyota Prius repaired there. They did a good job on the actual repair (although it took longer than expected), but the communication was terrible. At one point, I was on hold with customer service for so long (greater than 30 minutes) that I was able to drive there and ask the customer service rep why I was still on hold. She claimed she didn't have me on hold and that they were having phone system troubles. read more
